I think as a trans woman, I can say 99% of us do have crippling mental trauma from the constant ostracisation of a society against us. You'd have to have some gucci, well-off, loving parents that got you transitioning as early into puberty as you can.
Also, a lot of us just have plain old trauma that results from said osracisation and not necessarily from being trans. I actually have very little mental health issues being trans, I'm largely comfortable with my self-identity and can shrug off most insults, but I do have a lot of mental health issues being sex trafficked at a young age. Most trans people even at a young age typically end up as at least somewhat of a social outcast, and opportunistic predators are more than happy to sink their teeth in isolated youths.

She cant admit when shes wrong, because shes emotionally attached to the argument they had about birthing people. This is likely linked to her deciding not to have kids/being unable to.
