Team pro slide here. We like the more open spacious feeling. Especially with 2 people a couple furry friends. Pros: tall ceilings, smaller stove & no oven, bar area for floorplans without a dinnette, bathroom plumbing & fixture/sink upgrades. Cons: enjoy seating options with the middle arm that raises up (sometimes enjoy being close to the wife 😅), TV with no vertical tilt, & hate open bathroom shelving. Thanks Josh! Ember looks like great quality even with being lighter weight.
I love the feel and layout of this rig! Most of my comments are covered in other’s remarks such as keep slide, televator tv, flip up counter at end with the stools, and drawers under bed instead of lift. Having fulltimed for over seven years now I find I would prefer all closets to be adjustable and non-hanging. If I want to hang stuff I’ll put hooks or whatever where I need them. Also not a fan of any open shelving where things can fall out during travel. That said, I would prefer the door closet to be one unit with adjustable shelves so I could use to hang a coat, hold shoes and a swiffer, leashes, etc. I don’t know how wide this closet is but if it’s wide enough to be plumbed for a washer/dryer combo in the bottom, even better. The other closet next to the seating could be a pantry with either sliding or adjustable shelves. Hubby and I are tall so the location of the microwave doesn’t work. It needs to be moved up somewhere. I too would like induction stovetop instead and moved further away from sink. Need a king size bed option. I wish all rvs would use the telescoping outside door handles! Thank you for showing this unit. Plan to look into in more as well as the touring model you mentioned.
love that you can sit in the seats while the slide is in, well done. Love seeing the plumbing Josh! Thanks for talking about it and showing it. Great job Ember!
Telelevator on the desk/eating bar, fireplace and I'd be ok with no slide. Power reclining theater seat and drawers or shoe garage at the end of the bed. Nice layout.

Turn the bed space into a comfortable sofa Murphy bed and turn the slide space to a conventional dining area and you have a whole new winning floor plan.
The no slide version is up my alley. All they have to do is take the big pantry and make it flex with removable shelves and hanging storage. Now you can walk around the bed!
I am also one of those no slide guys. Less to maintain, less to go wrong. Ember really hit it out of the park on this one in my opinion. Other than the slide, I like everything I’m seeing. 👍🏻
Wow, they did a great job with this model. I would love to see a washer dryer combo prep area in the back with all that extra storage in that pantry. Where the TV is it would be nice to mount it on a rail that moves up and down and then the ability to swing the TV over onto that countertop. That would open up some additional cabinet space as well. Ember does such a great job!
Hi Mr. Nerd - I'd love to see more manufacturers have a televator for the TV in the lunchbar area. Then you can have storage up top. But you also don't have to stare at the sky to watch the TV. I really like the Jay Feather 25RB for the better TV height. Thank you for all the great work!
yes on the no slide. switch the cabinet and couch. move the stove to the left a little to give more space on the right. im right handed and use the space to my right of the stove more. a little wider window at the table area. and a shoe spot at the end of the bed . just ideas that would make it awesome to me. great video .and have a great day.
I think the pantry next to the couch ought to be fixed storage and the one by door should have hanging and removable shelving in case you want to use as coat closet and the bottom cabinets should be made where you can easily use it as a shoe garage.
Thank you Mr. Nerd. Adjustable shelves are always a good idea. Not a bad concept by extending the counter top. I would be putting in a different mattress, but it would be heavier and make lift the hatch for the under bed storage more difficult. A couple big drawers under the bed that pull out the foot end would be cool.
Love the slide. Would Love that large pantry to have All removable shelves...have Long dresses for work and that would be Perfect area and no need for closet slide...that would work Perfect !! ❤
My biggest pet peeve with these are having the furnace/water heater/etc. on the same wall, underneath the awning. With a small unit like this, the awning space is already at more of a premium, and then those vents are there, too. So many of these have this floorplan.
I agree, but there’s really not an easy way to avoid it due to the fact it has a slide on the other side. There’s nowhere else to put those things unless you’re willing to sacrifice a pass-through storage.
While the furnace vent is under the awning, the water heater vent is toward the rear of the coach (so not on the same wall). This video shows the prototype before we made the change.
I was excited about this until you stepped inside and saw the slide and immediate was bummed out. But then again I'm weird and I don't want a dinette or a sofa either. I'd rather have the open space available to me to do what I want to do with it. Rather than installing a sofa or a dinette that I think is of low quality (and I think almost all RV sofa and dinettes are low quality.)
Definitely make the rear storage convertible to hanging clothes. I like this model a lot. I'm planning an extended Alaska highway trip, and the rear storage would make a great place to hang coats.
Hey Josh, always appreciate your videos! I like the “bar” seating, no need for dinette. I’d prefer no slide, and have a televator for the TV. This would allow for either a larger window or good cabinet where TV is now. Also maybe a front window or larger windows on either side of bed. I like that you show these prototype units and ask for input before production. Keep up the good work!
I am so glad I saw this video after attending the St Charles Missouri fall RV show. This will be my go-to purchase, and if they made it without a slide it would definitely be my buy.
I like this and others like it I've seen in the past, but I agree on the no slide part. What I think could bring it close to perfect: 1. No slide. Small slide like that with the walls against the couch feels so cramped 2. Move the entry to near the bed, push the counter to the back (the counter space next to the fridge (where the pantry is now) would be excellent for coffee and other small appliances) 3. Increase the width of the bar, maybe allow it to fold down to increase floor space when it's not needed, maybe detachable as a coffee table or something (me and my wife are couch-eaters most of the time anyway) 4. TV either televates down from the cabinets, or up from the bar 5. To make more entry space, push the bed away from the entry a small amount. This would decrease the walkway/wardrobe/nightstand space on the far side, but have the opposite effect on the near side, which could allow for... 6. Washer/dryer prep on the entry side wardrobe. 7. With the slide removed, the cost savings could be spent a bit on upgrading ventilation (keep the onion and bathrooms smells STRONGLY exhausting out the back, fresh air in the front), and add a grill slideout where the door is now 8. BONUS: Increase the length by a foot or two to allow walling off the bedroom. Could even go for the BONUS BONUS and make it a fifth wheel
For this size of RV it's getting better but .... They have comfortable looking theater seating and that's awesome... But who wants to sit on their wonderful theater seats and crank their head to the left or to the right to be able to watch the TV? Especially if you have theater seating you want the TV directly across from the theater seats
Hey Josh - remember me from a couple weeks ago when I said I was looking for a half-ton towable with high ceilings because I'm very tall? Well... Way to come through for me! You're the best! I really like this rig. I agree that the dining counter needs to be tweaked a bit to provide more room. I can also say that I would like that big cabinet by the door should be set up to be half hanging space and half pantry space. I think having a spot to hang jackets and store some shoes near the door is a great thing! (Especially seeing as how my wife hates it when I wear shoes in the camper...) I'm one that believes the slide is necessary, but mostly because if I'm reclined in the chair, my legs stick out too far to not have a slide... I can see where some folks could easily get by without a slide in this rig.
13:54 it’s also nice that they are using 90° elbows for their PEX. It cost a little more and takes a little more time, but it says precious room, especially under a bathroom sink where a lot of manufacturers will just cut it long and loop it around and then you can’t fit Jack squat in there. 😅
I'm a huge no slide guy. I've had travel trailers both with and without slides, and I don't think I'll ever buy another one with a slide. Sure, the extra floor space is nice when you're stuck inside due to the weather, but it isn't worth the hassle and maintenance of the slide. As for the rear pantry, removable shelves to give a hanging storage option would be great, but it is not completely necessary. With this being a couple's camper rather than a family bunkhouse, the three hanging storage closets should be enough for most situations.
"Travel mode" is important for most RVers! Use of the fridge, toilet, and bed while on the road is a must! Using the seating in the slide is just a great bonus due to the Exact-Slide mechanism.
YES!!! Rectangular shower! LOVE the counter space. Enough room to actually prep a meal for cooking. Bar dining is fine for camping. Might have missed it, but are the counter tops a solid surface material? I would pay extra for that. This is a ground breaking change and I suspect that many manufacturers will incorporate these changes very quickly. Great camper.
I absolutely would want a slide. If not then the other person isn't going to be able to recline without being in the way. My husband and I just spent 4.5 days together in our jayco. We have one slide, the sofa, and even with that we just needed a little more room. Our JayCo is a 2006 so definitely older.
I’m digging this one! Love the two seating options in a smaller trailer and the slide construction. Some nit picks are limited campside windows. And is that a plastic toilet?
First, use a murphy bed and counter problem solved, Second, move microwave to 'Pantry" by the door and put pantry/storage over and under. Third, replace cooktop with an induction unit and recess it into the counter. Use countertop material to create a flip up cover to increase counter space (like is done in many fifth wheels). Make pantry in slide able to accommodate storage/hanging closet and lastly, keep the slide
This is great, I’d really love to see that back pantry you were asking about have removable shelves and a hanging bar and I’d like it if they got rid of that center reveal strip(the vertical plank in the front center) to make getting stuff in and out easier. Over all this is fantastic though, I love that they put cabinets under the dining bar, love all the cabinets really, especially that they gave us room for a waste basket! The road mode is phenomenal especially with the sofa still being usable, honestly while a no slide version would be great I’d still go for the slide version. My only two notes are that the theater seat is a massive L for me. I’m looking for something that’s good for solo and couples camping and on both fronts that center armrest is a bummer, can’t snuggle when I’m camping with a partner and when I’m camping solo I can’t spread out and half the sofa is useless. I wish they’d either make that a flip down arm rest so I can just pretend it doesn’t exist or give us the option of either a hide a bed or a sofa with storage underneath. I know the center armrest can be removed but I both don’t want to put in the effort to do that and I don’t want a weird gap next to the sofa. My other complaint is more nitpicky, I wish the bathroom counter was one piece instead of having that level change.
Thanks for your feedback! The non-prototype version of the theater seat does NOT have a center divider. Also, a trifold hide-a-bed sofa option is available as well!
Thanks for your positive feedback! The “woven” front is a design board called “seagrass.” While it looks like a weave, it’s actually a specialty wrap over the wood paneling.
I like this layout very much. For me, I’d have to have a slide. I like the feeling of room. I’d say to put the removable shelf in the pantry by the door. It allows for more flexibility. I’m not a fan of the high up tv. A tv lift option in the lower counter would make sense to me. There’s a ton of storage already in this camper, so losing the skinny cabinets under the counter wouldn’t make much difference. I can’t wait to see the final version.
I’m a no slide guy. Also not enough outdoor storage. Sure the pass through is nice but also adds tongue weight. Having a few more exterior storage places gives you more options with your hoses, tools, jack pads, etc. while the extra height is great, they missed the mark on the tiny windows. You’re in the great outdoors. Let the sunshine in! Also a molded fiberglass front end would really dress this model up and provide a lot less maintenance down the road. Solar on the side connector in the pass through seems weird. You have to leave it open, for the solar panel to connect? No outside shower is a bummer as well. I feel one trend I’m seeing more and more are tons of interior storage and one thing my wife would learn, trip after trip, was we didn’t use a lot of the “stuff” we kept dragging around. Being this is an RV and not a full time living quarters, having more junk in bunk, only creates a heavier load, less fuel economy and the “need” to fill every space with things, you don’t likely need. Transfer some of that to exterior storage or maybe and outdoor kitchen. Those are far more useful (especially if you like to cook sausage, bacon or grill meat in general. Liked the smaller range, no oven/ added micro/ air frier, quiet AC, cubbies behind the wardrobe (great for a CPAP) and no need to open the slide.
Man cool rig! After owning a smaller non-slide camper for a while now I would have to say the slide is a must for our next purchase! I am also one of those strange/weird folks that likes a dinette but oh well...we play lots of cards and it just works better when it is not so nice outside. This is a very nice camper! Nice job Josh!
Televator on the back end of "desk" area. Cabinets up top. Fireplace bellow the "desk" area. Washer/dryer in that back area by the fridge perhaps, but probably would make it to heavy. No slide version would almost have to have a televator...
@@JoshtheRVNerd You probably know me by now that I'm usually "that guy" that nit-picks and whatevs and I'm not always positive, although I try to be. With Ember, I just call it like I see it, and it's extremely difficult for me and others I've seen to find negatives with this brand as we've talked about many times in the past. Ember truly seems to care about their brand, the customers financing it, and themselves and employees the like. Reminds me of a little ol' RV center named HaylettRV...:) R.I.P. blessings!
In the desk/eating area, I would love to see them put a fireplace below, with a televator. That way the TV can be in a better viewing area... and the top cabinets can be used for storage.
Awesome small couple’s camper with a comfortable theater seating/sofa, a TV, a breakfast bar instead of a 1950’s diner booth dinette, ventless floor ducts, a porcelain toilet, a shower door, a Maxxair vent fan and true queen bed👍Just missing a fireplace and oven☹️
At 10:33 , I'm surprised that you didn't stay and mentioned the great plumbing disposition that leave so much space under the sink. Great execution again from Ember.
@@JoshtheRVNerdpassport or one similar has a nice unit like that with the dbl sliding doors. And by the way, my wife and I absolutely love what you do. We laugh a lot and learn a lot. Looking to downsize from a 35’ 5er to a couples TT. And yes, please keep RoadMode. That is super important to us. Cougar 25MLE is top of list right now.
This. Just perfect! I’ve been in the market for my first TT for a couple of months now. Weight, length, tongue weight, CCC, full queen, tandem axle, solar, theater seating, and water tank volume - all in the sweet spot. I'll be giving this a solid look come spring. Thanks, Nerd! This is my 10lbs of sugar in the 5lb bag. Edit: Storage is excellent. It's roomy, but still towable with my SUV, and the layout is well appointed. I could boondock with this for a weekend even. And, I'd probably stick with it for the life of the TT, rather than look at a bigger vehicle to pull something equal to this but a bit heavier..... I'll be lookin for this on the lot at your American Fork, UT dealership. The trip will be well worth it. You just needed my search for my perfect TT!
I have a 2205s and could not be happier! The bathroom is tight for my husband and I, but we are pretty healthy sized people. Ceiling height is not an issue. The theater seating doesn't look as nice as the 2205s. The fireplace on the 2205s was a big incentive, as was the Mastervolt Power Package from ABCUpfitters. I feel the RV industry is far behind the incredible power options that ABCUpfitters can provide. This rig was so much lighter, in everyway than the 2205s. ABCUpfitters could provide custom options to make this rig as off grid as you would like.
Great new model. Can't wait to see your video on Ember's 2025 versions of their Overland Series...specifically the 221MSL. I have it on good authority that it contains several significant upgrades for 2025, including a specific addition that has been long requested by potential buyers and viewers of this channel!!
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles How about some video walkthroughs of the new models on your UA-cam channel every year when they come out?? I think the only video you ever produced was a generic brand video that's over a year old now 😟 ...and other than Josh, Ember models don't typically get much in-depth coverage on UA-cam.
This has a lot of the feeling of our old Micro Minnie 2106FBS. Had this been around when we were replacing it we might have bought it since we we didn't like the open cabinets nor the bathroom changes of the 2108FBS. I know of some companies that would have just used smaller stools rather than enlarge the counter top. The stupid words are why I come here. With fixed shelves in the lower pantry cabinet I would like to see removable shelves in the upper. The cabinet by the couch fits more with the bedroom area and we would use the upper half for clothing and lower half for things like games, DVDs, etc. In the upper pantry I can see using one vertical half for things like brooms/mops/vacuum. With that in mind I would add a vertical divider where one side has shelves and the other side is unobstructed full height. I do not like the lighting system. Our Grand Design has the same issue where all of the ceiling lights are either on or off. I spent extra time and money to replace them with lighting that could be turned on and off individually and that could be individually dimmed. This was one area where our old 2106FBS did things well by being able to turn the ceiling lights on or off at the master switch or individually as needed. I'd pay more for a rear bumper and bumper mounted spare tire. There is nothing worse than crawling under a vehicle when it is raining to get to the spare tire (ask me how I know).
@@JoshtheRVNerdAssuming you are talking about the smaller stools. Let's just say I know someone who has in-depth inside operational knowledge from top to bottom for a couple of the better known brands.
I would like no slide potentially. Saving weight. What they did…real queen, 30x36 shower(!!!!!!) instead of corner shower (big problem on this floorplan), bar facing the window, instead of 90 degree kitchen in front of the tv making the bed more open as well, thankfully no useless dinette, if theater seat is too small, I could remove the pantry and trade out a bigger comfier sofa. Ability to use slide while in is a plus. Light weight. Would like it shorter lighter, but don’t know if you can nail this fp if shorter. This is awesome.
Thanks Nerd! For the counter, like the extension for better seating area, my only concern is the power on the side of the cabinet, could that be a power tower pop-up perhaps? Would love a no slide version, but this is really nice as is since Ember is building it so well. The back cabinet, I would prefer the shelves as is. Since it behind the axles there may be lot of bouncing and might as well start out attached. Ember - thank you for the pex on pex and isolated water shut-off valves. That is awesome!!
Interesting concerns… both floors are highly water resistant. But I guess that depends on what “a little water” means. The tires are Goodyear Endurance ST radial tires made in the USA - the best trailer tires available today! Certainly not cheap!
Thanks for your feedback! We no longer use propane fridges - and will not be using them going forward. The supply chain on them has completely changed in the last 4-5 years. The quality and safety is no longer there.
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles That would be great! If Ember had a twin bed choice i would purchase 1 asap! Actually prefer the Overland but would purhase touring.
I have had several slide-out and no slide trailers, and although slide-outs are not perfect, they provide a far more comfortable residential living space, especially on a cold rainy day, than a cramped no slide RV👍👍👍
This is beautiful. Thanks for the share. Edit: prefer slide-free. Storage is great as-is as to the type of space. Great stove, micro, counters, food bar; perfect with no slide.
I love the counter space in the Bath and Kitchen. I do wish they had a Murphy bed with couch and replaced the Slide chairs with a dinette / extra sleep space. I just really like the flexibility and efficiency of this setup. Once I get out of bed, I have no use for a bed taking up room all day.
I really like this one. I would go for the no slide option for sure. I would want the max solar, but at that point, I might be better off moving to a different version. I really want a version with beast mode suspension and the theater seat. That is the one thing I still haven't seen.
@JoshtheRVNerd Yeap so I was think hey lets move the theater seat to where the bed would be or something else to make it happen. There is normally room under the bed. So have it fold out or slide out. There has a be a way. 😊
I like the no slide idea but feel like getting around the bed might start to cramp up... I'd have to see that personally. As far as that storage question, the way we camp the wardrobe spaces by the bed would be plenty so both of the other areas could be solid shelves and we wouldn't care. However, if I had to choose one to be solid and the other modular, I'd take the one by the door for coat storage etc. Love the idea of this one! We'll be checking it out at the next show for sure. Thanks as always for the great coverage, Josh!
Hey nice one. First, don't feel bad about your wife not watching your videos, my wife doesn't watch mine either😂. Of course I love the theater seats, hanging space is ok but I do like the idea of that pantry having adjustable shelves. However, I would like to see a washer dryer or combo at least in that space. That being said I understand that everything is a push and a pull. Nice rig I would like to see a no slide option.
It’s fine to me just the way it is, except I like what you said they are planning for the dining bar. My mother has stools like that. They can double as a TV tray table if someone wanted to sit in a theater seat while eating a meal or having a snack. You can even use the stool for a laptop stand.
With hanging storage on both sides of the bed and the closet in the living area, leave the pantry as a pantry. I really like the look of the kitchen & bathroom cabinets, including the handles.
YES, Ember should also offer this outstanding floorplan without a slide. Less potential problems and even more interior storage. We're ready for one when available!

One thought - if they do that, then you'd likely have to give up the theater seating since it would be pretty bulky. Would that be OK with you?

yes on the no slide. switch the cabinet and couch. move the stove to the left a little to give more space on the right. im right handed and use the space to my right of the stove more. a little wider window at the table area. and a shoe spot at the end of the bed . just ideas that would make it awesome to me. great video .and have a great day.
You as well
I think the pantry next to the couch ought to be fixed storage and the one by door should have hanging and removable shelving in case you want to use as coat closet and the bottom cabinets should be made where you can easily use it as a shoe garage.
Ty
Thank you for your feedback!
Thanks for your feedback!
That's a great idea!
the plumbing up grade they all should do that. again ty so much
Abreed ty
Love the slide. Would Love that large pantry to have All removable shelves...have Long dresses for work and that would be Perfect area and no need for closet slide...that would work Perfect !! ❤
It's crazy I've never personally had a long dress for work myself but I know some folks that definitely do :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd😅😂👍
Build it with no slide, and this will be one of my top three choices!
A combo washer/dryer would be great on the bottom of the big pantry.
Not sure it will fit, but we’ll let the team know your suggestion!
A no slide version maybe as an optional version of this Floorplan
I find it handy to have somewhere to hang jackets right near the door, so yes, hanging area in that large pantry by the door
Thanks for your feedback!
Agree Ty
Or at least removable shelves
How about a combo washer dryer in that rear pantry with a shelf above. Then you have it all!
Woo-hoo shut off valves. Freaking awesome
yep! ☺
Thanks for your feedback! Trying to build better RVs!
No slide, add a televator. "Great Caesar's Ghost!" is an Adventures of Superman reference, I believe.
😊
Definitely make the rear storage convertible to hanging clothes. I like this model a lot.
I'm planning an extended Alaska highway trip, and the rear storage would make a great place to hang coats.
That's a great idea!
Thanks for your feedback about the storage!
I really like what Ember is doing these days. Well thought out design and almost looks like a mini Brinkley.
Thank you for your positive feedback! We’re trying to build better RVs!
Lot of things like the eye shadowing around the windows were actually an ember original thing for which they seem to get no credit
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks for noticing our trendsetting nature, Uncle Josh!
I prefer no slide. Don’t care much about hanging space, and much rather have shelves.
This is the most perfect one I seen and all the corrections make it even better. awesome
😊
Thanks for those kind words! We're all about doing it better!
I agree on the seating setup - I love a bar setup and have very little need for a dinette
I am so glad I saw this video after attending the St Charles Missouri fall RV show. This will be my go-to purchase, and if they made it without a slide it would definitely be my buy.
Thanks for your feedback!
Awesome glad you like it!
I like this and others like it I've seen in the past, but I agree on the no slide part. What I think could bring it close to perfect:
1. No slide. Small slide like that with the walls against the couch feels so cramped
2. Move the entry to near the bed, push the counter to the back (the counter space next to the fridge (where the pantry is now) would be excellent for coffee and other small appliances)
3. Increase the width of the bar, maybe allow it to fold down to increase floor space when it's not needed, maybe detachable as a coffee table or something (me and my wife are couch-eaters most of the time anyway)
4. TV either televates down from the cabinets, or up from the bar
5. To make more entry space, push the bed away from the entry a small amount. This would decrease the walkway/wardrobe/nightstand space on the far side, but have the opposite effect on the near side, which could allow for...
6. Washer/dryer prep on the entry side wardrobe.
7. With the slide removed, the cost savings could be spent a bit on upgrading ventilation (keep the onion and bathrooms smells STRONGLY exhausting out the back, fresh air in the front), and add a grill slideout where the door is now
8. BONUS: Increase the length by a foot or two to allow walling off the bedroom. Could even go for the BONUS BONUS and make it a fifth wheel
The bathroom is an incredible! Great Floorplan! Thank you Josh!
Glad you like it!
I miss a fireplace. Maybe move the drawers to that big pantry and add the fireplace where the drawers were. Just a thought.
The Touring Version of the layout here ua-cam.com/video/NNmPPFKSc9w/v-deo.html has it!
Thanks for your feedback! We have fireplaces available in our Touring Edition lineup.
Love this trailer.. Good job Ember
For this size of RV it's getting better but .... They have comfortable looking theater seating and that's awesome... But who wants to sit on their wonderful theater seats and crank their head to the left or to the right to be able to watch the TV? Especially if you have theater seating you want the TV directly across from the theater seats
Id also remove the bedside tables and expand it for a king size mattress.
Yeah it’s an funny thing as it relates to this floor plan hard to put the tv straight across
Make the rear closet with adjustable shelves for each side. Make possible for one side or both to be wardrobe
ooohh.... I like this
Great suggestion. We’ll let the team know!
(Especially seeing as how my wife hates it when I wear shoes in the camper...)
I'm one that believes the slide is necessary, but mostly because if I'm reclined in the chair, my legs stick out too far to not have a slide... I can see where some folks could easily get by without a slide in this rig.
Sounds like this one might fit you!
Well big guy - enjoy!!
13:54 it’s also nice that they are using 90° elbows for their PEX. It cost a little more and takes a little more time, but it says precious room, especially under a bathroom sink where a lot of manufacturers will just cut it long and loop it around and then you can’t fit Jack squat in there. 😅
Thank you for noticing the difference!
Yep yep!
Keep the slide! Also, I'd like the shelves in that pantry to be adjustable. :)
Noted!
Thank you for your feedback!
Wow -- sit in slide while closed? Amazing -- thanks Josh and Ember!
Yep!
It’s a great feature! Travel mode is important!
There are a number of states that allow people in the trailer while towing. Now they will have comfortable seating options before disaster happens!
Love the slide and that its usable even when in travel mode!
yeah that's super rare in towable rvs
"Travel mode" is important for most RVers! Use of the fridge, toilet, and bed while on the road is a must! Using the seating in the slide is just a great bonus due to the Exact-Slide mechanism.
300k good job Josh! You deserve it!🎉❤
Congrats again!
Thanks so much!!
Love the counter space and the storage options!
This one has great storage!
Thank you for your positive comments!
Counters are thermofoil
I absolutely would want a slide. If not then the other person isn't going to be able to recline without being in the way. My husband and I just spent 4.5 days together in our jayco. We have one slide, the sofa, and even with that we just needed a little more room. Our JayCo is a 2006 so definitely older.
Thanks for commenting!
True..
I’m digging this one! Love the two seating options in a smaller trailer and the slide construction.
Some nit picks are limited campside windows. And is that a plastic toilet?
Toilet is porcelain foot flush!
Thanks for your feedback! A Murphy bed is available from the factory via a custom order!
Appreciate all the input! Ty!
Nice, love the colour, love the look of the woven fronts but I would worry about durability/longevity
Thanks for your positive feedback! The “woven” front is a design board called “seagrass.” While it looks like a weave, it’s actually a specialty wrap over the wood paneling.
Canopy over the door - HUGE benefit!
We agree!
Yep yep!
I doubt it'll be MUCH different beyond what was mentioned
Love the galley
Thanks for your feedback!
I’ve been in no-slide rvs for a while and I will say I’d love a slide out space
Love it, minus the lack of real stove. Appears there should be room for a stove and microwave above
They do that in their touring editions. This one focuses more on counter to save
The microwave is also an air fryer AND a convection oven.
I love these units. They look so simple , yet they are very well built. Clean and an open canvis for so many accessories.
Thanks for your positive feedback! We try to build better… and hope you can tell!
Yes they are!
Televator on the back end of "desk" area. Cabinets up top. Fireplace bellow the "desk" area. Washer/dryer in that back area by the fridge perhaps, but probably would make it to heavy. No slide version would almost have to have a televator...
TElevator would not rotate to bed
@@joeystultz they make attachments to fix that
AMAZING bathroom especially how far the toilet is from the shower, the BETTER shower, and wow just wow
😊 your positivity is very appreciated btw
I think they reserve things like that more for their Touring Edition like this one: ua-cam.com/video/NNmPPFKSc9w/v-deo.html
TElevator would not flip out to bed area
@@JoshtheRVNerd Probably. 😔
Definitely viable as a no slide, but I don't mind this slide.
Also, add 2 feet and make a private bedroom with double sliding doors from the middle of unit. Barn doors basically.
I could see it. I've seen it done. I would mention they already have some private bath models in that size
Please check out our Touring Edition 26RB for a variation like what you’re describing!
Edit:
Storage is excellent.
I’m glad you found it!
I like it, nice and well done. Keep the slide the greater interior room makes camping much more enjoyable.
Roger that!
Thanks for your feedback! We’re still partial to our build. We are able to add custom solar from the factory!
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles I appreciate your quick reply! Thanks for your response.
Great video Josh. I love this RV. I do agree with you about the drop down tv mount to make a non neck wrecker view. Keep up the good work cutie.
Thanks! Will do!
My hubby & I would love this with no slide.
I wouldn’t mind a propane oven but can live without it.
Ty Veronica
Great new model. Can't wait to see your video on Ember's 2025 versions of their Overland Series...specifically the 221MSL. I have it on good authority that it contains several significant upgrades for 2025, including a specific addition that has been long requested by potential buyers and viewers of this channel!!
Public updates should be hitting the web site this week!
Yeah I am pretty excited to see them
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles How about some video walkthroughs of the new models on your UA-cam channel every year when they come out?? I think the only video you ever produced was a generic brand video that's over a year old now 😟
...and other than Josh, Ember models don't typically get much in-depth coverage on UA-cam.
Thanks for your feedback! All the lighting CAN be individually turned ON/OFF and all ceiling lights are on dimmer switches.
lol HOW DO YOU KNOW?!
@@JoshtheRVNerdAssuming you are talking about the smaller stools. Let's just say I know someone who has in-depth inside operational knowledge from top to bottom for a couple of the better known brands.
Need a long hanging closet by the door for coats. Tall people need places for rain coats where they can drip when wet without being puddled up!!
So hear me out - when I have stuff like that I hang it in the shower
Smoky Ember - cute!
Yeah they’re really nailing their bathrooms lately
This layout makes me excited. I think this would be a great option for my parents
☺
I do like a nice shower. Thank you Josh !
You bet!
Adjustable removable shelves are always better than non
I’d agree
Thanks Nerd! For the counter, like the extension for better seating area, my only concern is the power on the side of the cabinet, could that be a power tower pop-up perhaps? Would love a no slide version, but this is really nice as is since Ember is building it so well. The back cabinet, I would prefer the shelves as is. Since it behind the axles there may be lot of bouncing and might as well start out attached. Ember - thank you for the pex on pex and isolated water shut-off valves. That is awesome!!
Thanks for your feedback!
Power towers are handy. I hear they’re more spendy which is why we sometimes don’t see them in some campers
Nice. That floor gets a little water its over. The slide floor same thing. The cheapest tires you can find.
Interesting concerns… both floors are highly water resistant. But I guess that depends on what “a little water” means. The tires are Goodyear Endurance ST radial tires made in the USA - the best trailer tires available today! Certainly not cheap!
A propane fridge is a must! I would love if they offered you a choice. Other than that they nailed it!!!
Thanks for your feedback! We no longer use propane fridges - and will not be using them going forward. The supply chain on them has completely changed in the last 4-5 years. The quality and safety is no longer there.
That counter extension NEEDS a hole to feed power cords down to the outlet.
Holes in food counters trap dirt. Better to just ante up and put those sockets in the wall, above countertop level, or under the upper cabinets.
Agreed
Wish more manufacturers would give twin bed options.
they're so crazy rare because the sales on them are typically dismal
Which is crazy considering all the twin requests I see
Thanks for your feedback! If it was available in this floor plan, only the “middle” aisle would be passable to get to bed. Would that be ok?
@@EmberRecreationalVehicles That would be great! If Ember had a twin bed choice i would purchase 1 asap! Actually prefer the Overland but would purhase touring.
Been looking for a camper like this with theatre seating and no slide.
I have had several slide-out and no slide trailers, and although slide-outs are not perfect, they provide a far more comfortable residential living space, especially on a cold rainy day, than a cramped no slide RV👍👍👍
I’d love something like this but with a chaise lounge 😊
I love that idea
Thanks for your feedback! The theater seating can be swapped for a hide-a-bed sofa.
This is beautiful. Thanks for the share.
Edit: prefer slide-free.
Storage is great as-is as to the type of space.
Great stove, micro, counters, food bar; perfect with no slide.
Thanks for the tips!
I like the slide, it would be great to have that back pantry include a thin long closet for a broom storage or slim hamper and then pantry shelves
cool idea
Yes, a no slide model would be great 👍!
Ty
I love the counter space in the Bath and Kitchen. I do wish they had a Murphy bed with couch and replaced the Slide chairs with a dinette / extra sleep space. I just really like the flexibility and efficiency of this setup. Once I get out of bed, I have no use for a bed taking up room all day.
Try this one: ua-cam.com/video/dsc3TwjcTjc/v-deo.html
Great counter space but you can "put the bed away!" when you're done with it!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks! That is a great model.
An optional Murphy bed IS available on this floor plan -- call your friends at Bish and they can order it special from the factory!
I really like this one. I would go for the no slide option for sure. I would want the max solar, but at that point, I might be better off moving to a different version. I really want a version with beast mode suspension and the theater seat. That is the one thing I still haven't seen.
Ember was the originator of that suspension actually and offers this layout with it here: ua-cam.com/video/MlAjoy0_WXo/v-deo.html
@JoshtheRVNerd Yeap I like that one, but it isn't a theater seat.
That suspension sticks up so far due to its wheel travel it basically prevents a true theater seat setup
@JoshtheRVNerd Yeap so I was think hey lets move the theater seat to where the bed would be or something else to make it happen. There is normally room under the bed. So have it fold out or slide out. There has a be a way. 😊
what about drawers under the front of the bed??…I love the televator idea… could mean the next size up tv for viewing
They'll do stuff like that more commonly on things like their touring edition models but I do like that idea
My pleasure!
SOMEONE needs to finally make this in a no-slide...
It’s fine to me just the way it is, except I like what you said they are planning for the dining bar. My mother has stools like that. They can double as a TV tray table if someone wanted to sit in a theater seat while eating a meal or having a snack. You can even use the stool for a laptop stand.
Hmm.. that's not a bad idea
Thanks for your feedback!
With hanging storage on both sides of the bed and the closet in the living area, leave the pantry as a pantry. I really like the look of the kitchen & bathroom cabinets, including the handles.
❤ Thanks for your feedback! We agree!
