New super Mario Bros DS is really creative. It introduces most of the new mechanics and goes with good game play which is why I truly think it is the best one but I like NSMB 2 as well.
I really wish they would have came out with an entirely new Super Mario Bros game for the Switch instead of just renaming the Wii U version and giving it slightly better graphics.
I mean they will make another one im sure but as far as “new” super mario bros games, i think they are done. They have odyssey and ported this one and 3D world.
I was one of the few who grew up on the Wii U and 3DS so those NSMB games are the most nostalgic to me. So in terms of nostalgia, those are my favourite. Without the original, I would have never made the fond memories of my entire family sitting on the couch and playing NSMB U on the Wii U or playing NSMB 2 on the 3DS while driving to Whistler BC.

I have a switch now. I always had a DS. the difference that I can’t figure out with the ds you could always have something extra like a mushroom or a flower that gives you the abilities to have fire. Does the switch have that too? Cause I can’t figure it out
