- This is the ONLY Way to get Shiny Cinderace in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The way you can catch a Regular Cinderace is at the 7 Star Cinderace Tera Raid Event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The event is SHINY LOCKED. However there is a way to get a Shiny Cinderace . I will explain How to get Shiny Cinderace in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You can Breed Cinderace with Ditto to get Shiny Scorbunny. You can then evolve the Shiny Scorbunny into Shiny Cinderace in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You have chances of getting shiny Scorbunny by having a shiny charm in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You have greater chances to get a Shiny Scorbunny by having shiny charm and Masuda method.

Slowbro holding twisted spoon
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 4 Def
IVs: Hyper train Sp.Atk, HP, and Def
Moveset:
-Iron Defense
-Nasty plot
-Psychic terrain
-stored power
Strategy:
1st, do iron defense 3 times
2nd, do nasty plot 3 times
3rd, use psychic terrain
4th, stored power
That’s the strat

This same strat also works while holding Life Orb instead of a twisted spoon

@@jokeraec2918 yikes it was 680 for me, that 1 hunt took the # of eggs total for the 5 I was hunting for at the same time and got 2/5 of my target shiny( was egg hunting ralts cyclizar goomy Pikachu and quaxly, got shiny ralts and quaxly after 1350 eggs, both within 50 eggs shockingly).
634 for charmander, but only 128 for zorua (both when I didn't have thr charm). Now I do, and I wanna see how much my luck changes

I hatched close to 60 eggs today in about an hour and picked up my shiny Scorbunny. I was also breeding Quaxly's and Charmander's with 3 masuda dittos.
Trying to get all 3 evolutions as shinies. I've completed Fuecoco, need one more of Sprigatito, two more Quaxly's, one more Charmander and 2 more Scorbunny's.

I already have one via the Double Masuda Method when I was breeding a Cinderace that I got from Pokemon Home when I was able to transfer it to my Pokemon Scarlet. Mine was actually a female.

Since these scorbunny’s are not considered tranferrable pokemon, u can actually trade them without doing the egg hosting method
I had a weird fight to catch it, basically it was an army of skelidurge but midway though the fight I was stuck in the menu as I was about to cheer, I couldn’t do anything but we still won

I used the Polteageist strat w 2 friends and one CPU and it worked, one shot the Rabbit in 2 turns, w just one Fake Tears and one Helping Hands, so for ppl that dont wanna build another team, the Stored Power Polteageist works for this and its super easy to pull off
I quit shiny hunting for shiny scorbunny because I hadn’t finished let’s go pikachu and I wanted to before scarlet and violet released, but now I’m kinda tempted to visit my Pokémon sword save to continue the hunt.(No shiny charm but I have foreign ditto and cinderace, Japanese cinderace and Korean ditto.)
I’m still on my charmander hunt, so I don’t think I’ll try to MM this one.

Yo Philly have you tried the solo raid yet.... I followed a quick guide on how to beat CinderAce and it works like a charm, got the video from Austin John Plays and it utilizes either Armarouge or Slowbro for solo fight.... the slowbro fight is a for sure 100% to 1 shot cinderace before he shields should you follow the guide correctly, thats how i got mine. You should try it out and see if it works for you.
I missed the event... It's super upsetting. Cinderace is probably one of my favorite pokemon like I didn't even care about the charzard one but cinderace... Damn

Wow I got lucky and happened to catch it in a level but SOLELY because the colors and pattern of the ball matched the Pokémon 😂
Something else to note is that (I’m pretty sure) this is the first time we can get cinderace in different poke balls

Just a tip save before you use your egg power sandwich/picnic and turn auto save off hatch all your eggs if you didn’t get a shiny reset your game. It saves you so much time release the scorbunny if you didn’t get a shiny.

I hatched over 500 eggs in SwSh to never get shiny Scorbunny so I’m using this ScVi event to finally get redemption
Also masuda method is broken in SV and I'm not saying that as a good broken, it's literally not programmed correctly like previous games, the numbers are off slightly but still making a big difference in results.

Seeing that first egg hatch kind of hurt my soul lol.... I've been hatching 6 boxes of Charmandrr eggs per day since the first Charizard raid with a masuda ditto and the shiny charm and have just flushed thousands of chamanders into the surprise trade soup with not a single shiny
..haven't even tried to breed cinderace yet because I'm still trying for my shiny Charizard.

And I think I just wasted my shiny luck for the day lol. Setting up a picnic to get some more eggs boxed up and ready to hatch outside lavencia and got attacked from behind by a shiny Tauros.
if you egg power level 3 with 3 friends using dittos and the host using only (insert pokemon name here) the host gets 3 sets worth of eggs plus the level 3 egg boost. so they get 3x the rate but i mean if you are willing to do it with that many people ofc. try it you will see what i am talking about :D it makes the method faster is all

I had NO idea you could breed in multiplayer. That means you could breed for egg moves this way to to help your friends. :3
Getting egg moves is so easy in SV, with the mirror herb.

Is restarting the game after hatcing (lets say 5) the eggs it keeps count the chances or restart the count?
Eggs are always the same after they are laid. Resetting after they hatch does nothing they'll still be the same.
Would it matter if any of the 2 parents were shinies, like shiny ditto with cinderace?

We can NOT use pokemon Home until it syncs up- or whatever the term is- to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet otherwise i wouldn't have been trying 14 times and failing each time to get a cinderace last night lol

400, You need the sandwich with egg power, otherwise you will get 1 egg like every 10 minutes. Also i don't believe shiny power from sandwiches effect eggs.

I recommend not doing eggs in alfornada, I hunted quaxly there and my game was crashing a lot and then it crashed when I got the shiny before I could save.

Man, it sucks not having Nintendo Online... Even though I dont think I'd Be able to access 7 star raids yet since I haven't beaten the main game yet (dont blame me, I have just gotten the game about 4 days ago and also played other games and did other stuff too), but it seems like people who have money to pay for an online subscription could have the better chances... I ain't complaining, but it does kinda suck not having online

Just wanted to come back and comment this: I used these guides and for 1 week I shiny hunted mons that I thought would be great for trading. I amassed 1 entire box of shiny Pokémon, some in Apriballs, and some marked even. Within 2 posts on r/pokemontrades I made a profit of 79 Apriballs…. THANK YOU DUDE!
