- IKEA Click & Collect Unavailable or Not Working? In this tutorial, I show you how to track the status of your local IKEA Click & Collect, so you can place a successful order. This can be great for anyone currently unable to place an IKEA Click & Collect order because it is Temporarily Unavailable or all of the slots have been filled for the day. Here, I show you a tool that tracks the availability of IKEA Click and Collect for all IKEA stores in the US and Canada. This tracker allows you to subscribe for click & collect availability alerts.

With many IKEA stores currently closed, people are finding it difficult to order from IKEA online. Are you getting the follow error when trying to place an IKEA Click & Collect order online? Click & Collect is temporarily unavailable at this store due to increased demand. Please check back here as new windows may open up throughout the day.
Follow the steps to get a successful IKEA Click & Collect order:
1. Go to ikea-status.do...
2. Find your local IKEA store and select the checkbox next to it.
3. Scroll down and enter your email address in the text box.
4. Select Subscribe.
You will now receive email alerts letting you know when IKEA Click & Collect is available in your area.

Thank you very much for this handy tool. I am eagerly awaiting Click & Collect to become available for my store. Quick question: how many emails do you receive after you place the order? I received one confirmation email and another one, which I assumed was the "ready to pick up email" but it didn't actually say the order is ready to be picked up...

thank you for this. about a little over a week ago i was getting an entirely different message than this one, didnt matter the time of day. Honestly during quarantine nothing is better than reorganizing your house, and well ikea has the best things to help revamp closets etc. so this trick is helpful!
do you know if its a day by day basis that a store is available for pickup?
Glad it helped you. From my experience, it opens for my store about once every two days. Lately it has been at 1 AM. I was able to get an order through Sunday for pick up that day. I never received the email stating it was ready, so I went to the store Tuesday and was told to just wait until I get the email. They said the time you pick is only an estimate. Thanks for the workaround. Unfortunately at this time (9 PM Pacific, June 1) EVERY click and collect in the US and Canada is unavailable...I think it's going to be a long time before even a handful are open at any one time.
If you click the little clock icon next to the store, it will tell you the last few times that click and collect was available, and how long it was available. That gives a better idea of how busy it is.
How come I search up the Ikea near me which is the Paramus and Elizabeth one (in New Jersey) and it says click and collect available on google but on the Ikea website it still doesn't let me order?
I think it's because they might actually not even be offering that service right now. I live really close by, like 5 or so minutes away. Probably will just go in and get the items I picked out. I wrote the numbers down . Hopefully that will make it a quick in and out visit. One of the items is pretty heavy though. Wonder if there is help for loading into your vehicle? If you get this, let me know what you did or did not end up doing.
I don't see any Click and Collect option at all in any of the Los Angeles stores I shop. Frustrating.
Still having no luck. I feel like I'm trading clicking the IKEA page to watching my email for your notification. This is so frustrating. I don't understand why delivery windows cannot be set up for longer stretches of time. Why is this so difficult for IKEA?
cmaclin1 They only have so many workers working due to covid. So they can only prep so many orders. That is why the time frame is so short because so many people want to order from them.

Also, the Columbus, OH IKEA is open to the public. For some reason they are not advertising this, but I went through all of this to get there to see that I could shop for myself.
Currently showing Costa Mesa, CA as available, but it is not. Cleared cookies, but still getting unavailable at checkout. SO frustrating!

So ikea doesn’t do a regular order on the website and show up to your door?
They do but you can only order through it when there is an opening. It's pretty rare.
Hey guys just wanted to share that if you do click and collect and don't receive the ready to pick up email by the time your pick up time comes around. I would suggest calling ikea and then clicking "4" and then "3" for the dailing options. This will connect you to someone you can speak with and ask about the status of your item. I did that today after not receiving my ready to pick email and they told me it was ready to pick up and that I should be good to go. Hope this helps!

I ordered something from EAST PAL ALTO today. I scheduled to pick it up earlier today but never got the second email that tells me when to come and pick it up.What do you think should I do? By the way, this vid is amazing, helped me so much.
Same thing happened to me. Ordered for 2pm today and never received an email saying it was ready to pick up.

Some people eventually get the second email before going. They get it a day later depending when you chose the pick up time. Same day pickup no email, prob go anyways.
Any updates on this? I am going to drive 2hrs to pick up my order and I want to make sure I don’t waste my time. (Haven’t been able to order just yet)

Been checking this daily and every day the majority of stores are not delivering. Today there's a handful of stores, mostly in Canada, where pickup from store is available. What a joke. How does a company the size of Ikea have such a hokey website. They've had since March to work on this issue.

Glad for the site, though, as it's a more convenient way to check Ikea's status.

That's pretty normal. They seems to randomly open up for ~10 minutes then go orange. So be fast when you get an email.

that website isnt accurate at all. tryed to check on the 3 places that had a green light and none of them had spots....what a waste of time

UPDATE JUNE 7TH: the website says it's suspended the email notification service as of June 7th due to a bug from the latest update and they're trying to fix it, so they're not sending out emails!! See message below! I'll keep checking back though, this is such a cool idea!

Additional tip: After you place your C&C order, you may or may not get a 2nd email confirmation that your order is ready. GO TO PICK IT UP ANYWAY and it should be there. Otherwise, it's ready but they never send out the 2nd confirmation email. In that case, your order will be refunded.
From my experience this is not true. I placed an order on Sunday with the pick up time of the same day. I never received my email and went to the store. I was told to come back once I received an email confirmation that it was ready to be picked up. Today, I received that email and was able to pick it up.
