I had a good amount of fun with Voice of Cards :) I feel almost like it's an introduction to a potential series, like they were just wetting their feet with it being a shorter game, and might go a bit harder with mechanics and aesthetics in a sequel, if they make one~
I'd love to see even more customization as far as the playing pieces, character art costumes, etc. Doesn't really add that much to the experience, but it was fun seeing the characters in a pixel art style along with seeing them dressed as Nier characters.
Some of the music did overstay its welcome just a little, but I found most of the tracks really pretty, so even if some were a bit overused, it wasn't enough to make it bad, for me.
I always love seeing your Game Light videos! :D Thank you for covering Voice of Cards! I feel like it doesn't get the credit it deserves and mostly just gets flack for what it could have been (maybe a sequel could help it reach new heights? I'm hoping for one, anyways :) )
A sequel to patch up a few bits here and there would be perfect. I would look forward to that if they did it! Though with Yoko Taro's latest quote about not doing much video game stuff unless a pile of money was given to him.. kind of seems unlikely, sadly
12 hours in really good game 😊 hope for a sequel 😎
Love the production of your videos, and your voice of course
They have slowly gotten better over the years :) Thanks!
I was pretty disappointed there weren’t really any real card mechanics outside of the aesthetic and mini game. But from what I played in the demo the art direction and gameplay were pretty interesting I definitely want to pick it up one day.
Wow I love game light series, good job 0/
You are one of the few people who like the series :'D thank you!
@@MyraSlokov I hope this year you get more views. Your reviews are fun and your voice is very relaxing hahah
@@mariaeduardadeoliveira5729 Your words are too kind :')
this is a pretty cool idea. imagine if someone recreated this with real life cards. wonder how many cards would it take lol
I was thinking the exact same thing when making the video haha. I was like, "Would this be feasible for a D&D game?"
Come back to UA-cam!
Trust me, I do want to! I'm just so busy all the time - I wish I had my spare time back :') I do have some time off soon, so maybe then I'll be able to knock out a few videos and start on the next Game Analysis ;D x
