How to turn off the service indicator on a '07 VW Rabbit!

Did not work for my 08 2.5 Rabbit. It must depend on what is wrong with the car. Mine came on when loose gas cap indicator came on and never went off again.

Makes sense, this is specifically for after-service (oil change) work; probably specifically tied to the mileage as to why it turns on.
