- An intro video to help people new to procreate to get started.
Apologies for my dusty screen! I should have cleaned everything up before recording 😂
The matte screen protector I use is by Belle mond. It cost about £11 / $14 via Amazon and the current one only just needs replacing after 2 years of daily use so I would recommend.
This is the set of procreate portrait tutorials I mentioned by @Sktchy : shop.sktchy.co... the class costs $60 so not super cheap - but for that you get for 30 * 1 hr sessions from 10+ artists so not too bad. I found it incredibly helpful and it’s how I got started in Procreate so gets my recommendation 😄
Well done young lady. You held my interest for the full 36 minutes. Even went back to a couple sections. Learned new things. Well presented. Thank you.
Bill
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for making these videos! It's tricky trying to find non anime/cartoony procreate tutorials so I appreciate this :)
You're very welcome! Glad you find them helpful
New subscriber thank you so much....we need more like this

Very informative video well presented well done . Wish I had found this years ago . I love Procreate
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for these videos. Just starting with Procreate. Retired illustrator and artist at 69 years old , looking forward to learn something new.
Ah welcome to procreate - enjoy!
Super useful, nice intro! Thanks Katie 😁
Haha no problem Connell - are you giving procreate a whirl? Enjoy!
@@katiemaeveart yes! I figure long term it’ll be a useful tool and worth overcoming the (I hope) short term learning curve. I’ve ordered a Matt screen protector thing, but playing around in the meantime. The split screen reference explanation was really useful as well as use of the smudge tool and starting small and relatively abstract before zooming in 👍
@@connellartist awesome! Look forward to seeing your work!
😃👍🙋🏻♂️
wonderful, what brushes was the last colored painting made with? maybe you say it but I don't speak oral English, sorry
It’s from Aaron Griffin’s free procreate brush set. A quick google will find them. All are great but my personal favourites are heavy jitter and grunge scatter brushes 👍
