My Ford GT Arrives in the US to HYPERCAR INSANITY!

- We're back in action! I'm at @HennesseyPerformanceF5 to collect my Ford GT that's shipped over from the UK, now ready for some fun in Texas. It gets started in style with drag races on the runway before we blast over to Hypercar Genesis in Austin with the most insane line-up!
After shipping out my Ford GT with MyCarImport a month ago or so, we've had a quick stop in Chicago to meet up with @TheHamiltonCollection before flying on to Texas to pick up the Shmeemobile ready for everything that's ahead. Hennessey kindly received it on my behalf to prepare it for everything that's ahead, and that means a stop by a venue I've visited many times before to have some fun on the runway and check out both the H850 Dark Horse and H1200 Mammoth TRX.
With all well and fun at Hennessey HQ, our next stop is to Hypercar Genesis, the opening night for the GT1 Sports Club weekend at Circuit of the Americas. Visiting COTA is the purpose for this trip, and the combination of TEN, Hypercar Invitational, GT1 Sports Club and SRO have put together this incredible welcome evening with a seriously impressive display.
To name some of the highlights; Fastrrr has presented his new Apollo IE and brought the Zonda Revolucion, there are a number of Venom F5s from RAFA Racing Club, multiple Bugatti Chiron Super Sports, @GGEXOTICS with the Pagani Utopia, the full holy trinity on display, and so much more.
What an amazing welcome to the USA, and a huge thank you to everybody who helped with logistics and making it such an amazing experience to get this tour started!

5 years ago (June 2019) i was in the waiting room while my wife was in labour with my son. Watching the Ford GT in America fast forward 5 years and im in a waiting room in the same hospital while my son is being operated watching the same car back in the U.S.A!!!

Nice story bro. But in actual fact both the Ford GT and that Hennessey are about as "American" as socialised healthcare. They are both very British. There isnt a nut or a bolt on them that can be claimed for America. Except that Corvette engine in the F5 obviously.

Tuneshops dont always improve a car, youknow. The mustang already has more power than it can handle.
@@captain_context9991 that’s great. Tim has a UA-cam channel that makes money with views. I simply stated a Hennessy dark horse would command more clicks than a standard one, you could argue many of his cars have more power than they need, that is simply not the point. The point is to stand out( be different, and be entertaining, and that checks all boxes.

Yeah, no. Tims cars typically has exactly the power they were built for. He doesnt really tune them. And he has said plenty of times his green Mustang has more power than it can handle. Which is a known fact with those things.

Tim, to me it might seem a bit sacrilegious but you should absolutely do the H850 pack on your Dark Horse. I got a chance to see your Dark Horse at SEMA last year and thought at the time that there was a potential for more. Hope you do consider doing the H850 pack. That Dark Horse at Hennessy was wicked.

Tim, at 19:31 those rims are called Swangers or swingers and are paired with Vogue Tyres. This is a car culture unique to the Houston Texas area and has roots with Chopped and Screwed Rap music.
You are a legend for taking your very valuable car into that mob. I would be so worried someone would accidentally fall into it or drop their phone on it. That Ford GT is such a beast. That shot of it in the bay at Hennessy with the doors up! you gotta show it's party trick of lowering into race position! Maybe at COTA

Shmee just continues to deliver with the great content. Welcome back to the States sir! The Ford GT is looking stunning as ever. The fact the fist stop was Hennessey HQ with a special look at those F5s was glorious. And then there was that amazing hypercar meet up and all this was just a little part of the first day. Truly great stuff. Thank you for bringing us along.

17:53 Buc-ee’s definitely isn’t a quick stop. The traffic in and out can be very heavy and slow going. If you are in a rush don’t go there.

Tim welcome back to the USA. The GT is such an epic car. The look is really nice. It’s just amazing how a v6 can be such a beast. In my opinion you should definitely do the Hennessy package to the Dark Horse or drive it to LV and have the Shelby package done.

I have seen several great packages for the S650 Mustang. One being Shelby's new Super Snake Mustang and the one you mentioned, Hennessey Performance 'H850'. Both would be excellent upgrades to the model you currently have... I say go for it! 🖤👊
