He has always been incredibly good, like any athlete they improve with experience. I’d say his ability to judge a pace is the best we have seen by a British jockey in decades. I’d compare him as highly as Francome
Cobden is an amazing jockey. His ability to leave something in the tank for the last part of the race is supreme. His judge of pace is second to none, best British jockey for many years.
Anyone who thinks it will he close needs to see doctor 😅 dnt blame a 6 week injury theres plenty time still left and sean was still ahead on his return from injury but even if he hadent of gettimg injured he still woudent winning 💯🇮🇪🐴
Harry is the closest to the good Irish lads ,generally tries to hold on to a horse as long as possible,and also sets good fractions from the front when front running .
if he beats sean by 31 , then he is legitimate, sean was out for 6 weeks with a 31 lead at the time, so if i was harry, id have that in my head to prove i am champ, mccoy did that when johnstone was 25 in front one year and got injured, he said live, that he has to win by more than 25 to feel like a true champ
How do people think bowen is a good jockey it's true what real irish horse men say bowen is well over rated he was top of the jockeys championship because he's riding midweek every day class 5 races when cobden is only riding when it suits or when a good one is ready to run sean bowen is notting great any horse man big or small will tell u there's big difference riding class 5 winners of cold wensday afternoon in chepstow than to riding grade 1s of Saturday at ascot personally if I owned a good horse and only had choice of the 2 brother I'd leave james bowen ride it any day over sean bowen and alot would agree sean bowen would lose somehow on constitution Hill in a grade 3 race and an awful lier when beat on ollly murphys odds on favourites oh the ground 😅 it's fucking same for them all boy u just thinks your on a rodio bull most days never bck this younglad over fences whatever about hurldes but over fences is a no go very nervous u see yourself 💯

These two are both top class jockeys. Harry Cobden has improved so much the past two years.

Perhaps it's something to do with being involved with horses every day, but 95% of jockeys seem to
be jolly good eggs.
Both brilliant jockeys but cobden all day long for me in a g1 race
Two good lads and good riders not on same level of boys in Ireland slevin and kennedy in particular not even in same district as horseman

Bowan uses too much petrol up in the middle of races sometimes when he could sit and wait I have noticed, but still a great jockey

They have had a similar amount of rides . If one has ridden 50 more how far should he be ahead before he feels the true winner.
