If you just launch the foundry client, minimize it, then launch you dm browser, all of the embedded rolls work fine. Just select the player and then click the journal and bob's your uncle.
V13 development includes work on a Client system, which could definitely see some changes regarding popping out windows - it's being tested at the moment, and I've not had time to get stuck in to see what's actually in there. But I do suspect future development will give more functionality for popping out to other screens.
Hi ClayGolem. This is a great vid - It is so immersive you can acutally feel it [~01:20]. Will snatch me this module right away. After all DM´s do live in a two screen pc environement these days :)
Another great video - your channel has genuinely been an incredible resource for me whose an inexperienced DM and has switched to using Foundry for in-person games (for maps, enemy tokens and stuff). Soon to start Curse of Strahd, thanks!
Just remember if youre going to make changes to your character sheet you have to pop in the window or the changes wont take effect, at least thats what has been happening in my games.
You dont need a second monitor- you could just get a bigger one O_O and spend like 3x the money you would if you had just bought 2... or 3- Also - PopOut pops out more than just journals XD
Dude, loving your videos (GM here). Can i make a request? ; so.. I use a lot of scenes for inmersion and storytelling between battlemaps.. can u make a video of the best modules for storytelling scenes? like apecific special effects for inmersion and stuff related. (Ive been looking for thata kind of stuff online, but therés not much tbh. (anyways, just a suggestion/request) wish you the best. Cheers from Chile.
Hi. Yes, I do a fair bit of the scenes between battle maps stuff. Specifically with the Curse of Strahd. Here's a couple of videos that may give you some ideas: ua-cam.com/video/ktojYoyps3A/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/xqUg3eLtcvU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/NgiH_LHQUBA/v-deo.htmlsi=OmrZRMBP3XOVVUw0 ua-cam.com/video/2pbvASoYse4/v-deo.htmlsi=a5aw3bMMOOzmI-46
I've get quite a few tutorials/demos of Monk's on the channel. If you UA-cam for "foundry monk's active tile triggers" you should get quite a few different videos on this.

This is by far the most underrated module! I really hope they merge it into foundry core!!

These days two screens are almost a must. I'm so used to that set up at work, so I had to get second screen for my set up at home too 🙂
I agree - Without dual-screens I'd have to have a physical copy of the adventure - I just can't do it all on the 1 screen.

Glad to hear that - it's why I do it; helping others enjoy TTRPGs and trying to take the sting out of all the options and fiddly-bits.
Many of the Foundry dialogs beyond journals also pop out
Yeah, I did a bad and didn't deliberately point that out. I've pinned your other comment, or I'd pin this one.

Yeah, that video was a little rushed and I forgot to comment on the other pop-out bits like character sheets.

🤣
Most important module after the one that cleans up the module management stuff...seriously unreal this isn't core (I get the challenges).
With V13 of Foundry, the Client system may well make this easier to implement as part of core in future. But yes, it really is very useful!
