The Walten Files Iceberg Explained

- The Walten Files is a fairly new analog horror series based on the Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise. Although we have only three tapes to go off of this universe so far, there is a lot to dissect the deeper you go, and what better way to cover all this information than in a familiar format... This is the Walten Files iceberg explained. Without any further interruption, let's take a dive, below the waves...

It’s Freddy fazbear but better lol
Same here, I thought it was going to be lame, but then they pulled the Local 58 trick and they got me hooked
Showbear's creator here! While I do appreciate Showbear's inclusion in this iceberg, recent events involving myself and the team have resulted in Showbear being slimmed down into a one-off character rather then a full character. While it's not entirely important to mention, I figure it would be helpful for all you lore hunters trying to keep up to pace with the current lore.
Aw dang, that's disappointing, but I understand! He seemed like he had a lot of potential to be kind of like the fredbear of the story (at least that's where I think the character was heading lol.) That scene with the well in bunnyfarm was super disturbing btw, the character design and how it was utalizted was executed very well! You and Martin both did an amazing job!! Even if showbear won't return I wish you and the team the best, you contributed to some very memorable moments in the series :)
@@Daggz Thank you! I'm glad you think so, voicing and managing his character through the series up until now has been a blast!
Thats too bad, but if it's your decision that's fine!

What if the non-canon tapes (Mysterious House and Boozoos Ghosts) are lost cartoons intended to be sold to retail by BSI, but were never released due to being too disturbing?
Like the lost media creepy pastas 🤔
I also like to think that even though they’re non-canon they help answer questions about the lore of the Walten files
The duck from mysterious house is canon in twf, we see him on merchandise.
The part where the pumpkin rabbit catches tammy reminds me of when little bon turns into sophie, and bon is right behind her
goddamn. i love this theory. it was also equally horrifying
Actually, there was a cancelled fan project for TWF that originated from the now private server- if I remember correctly, it's where the shaburger originated from. I was a script writer and background editor for the project, a fan-made commercial for the shaburger with horror elements. We had animators and artists and VA's. It was cancelled due to inactivity with the project. I still have the script and VA roles.
Woah really?! That's very interesting! Is it information you are allowed to share?

I think Jack just wants a family reunion. You can't exactly have a nice family picnic at a park if you're a clunky stinky bunny animatronic. So he just made everyone else stinky clunky animatronics. There's a few uninvited guests, but those people are always at reunions!
I feel bad for laughing at this 🚪🚶♂️
Yea Boozoo Look So damaged Looking Then Other one 😭
Honestly, I think that’s exactly what happened. I think Jack might end up being just as bad as Felix if I’m honest.
I’m uncertain I see it but why kill Susan woodings if she’s not a Walten and bother to put her in banny? we know he doesn’t always put them in animatronics because when he killed that one guy who looked like Sophie (I forgot his name) he just left him in the forest and didn’t put him in a robot so it seems odd. it would make sense not to put the guy in a robot if he doesn’t know him but then why put Susan into a robot if he just wants a family reunion?
Edit: his name is Brian Stells
@@SalemRemover lucky You has someone Say: I didn't mean to
Maybe Bon has a killer instinct/program that makes him attack others that remind him of his family but sometimes he snaps out of it and tries to fix it by shoving them inside a robot
Apparently Martin walls said Bon's facial recognition software is very faulty
I still personally think that Jack is possessing Bon, he sounded angry in bunny farm when Felix didnt pick the phone up so Jack probably saw Felix as "Heartless". So in (I think) Relocate Project when Jack cuts in he is basically saying "Felix doesnt have a giant heart" and because he probably died angry at Felix that is probably why Bon is murderous cause he's in a state of blind rage which is why he brutally murders Susan, Rosemary, probably Charles, Ashley, and Brian and probably Sophie if shes unlucky. This is probably wrong but I personally think its likely
I think there’s just too much pointing to Jack being Bon, I don’t think anything could really point otherwise.
Sophie is jack"s daughter though and rosemary is his wife
That is a good theory, but we do need to take in consideration that he could possibly still be alive. I had made a point in Reddit on the subreddit as we saw how most of the people died(except Charles) but know they are dead. With bon and jack, it’s never seen how he died, if he died at all.
they confirmed that Jack is still alive. if Jack was possessing Bon, then why is Bon trying to kill Sophie?
@@creamsock8954 bro when did they confirm that
Actually jack and Felix have diffrent people used as images jack has 3 diffrent indentity’s
1: Nolan bushnell (company introductory part of twf 1)
2: Rodney alcala (little bon’s neighborhood part of twf 1)
3: Martin walls (twf 2 and 3)
Felix kranken has 2 indentity’s
1: Fred marencheck (twf 1 and 2)
2: buddy holly (guilty)
Weezer
Actually finding out that Alcala's picture was used as Jack's image was just mindblowing for me 'cos I was interested in the story of this guy earlier, and so here we go again. Interesting thing is that for the Jack's pics were used images of one of the greatest engineers and of the serial killer. Just some food for thought
haha weezer funny
@@LelouchOnTwi damn i thought my reply was original LMAO
Nolan Bushnell, the Chuck E Cheese founder??? Interesting....
Here's what I don't understand:
What the heck kind of dental appointment occurs at/after 5pm and makes Rosemary unavailable at/after 9pm? Aren't most dentists closed at around 5pm?
If it was oral surgery, Sophie would be sleeping it off afterwards. And unless they lived way out in the boonies, it shouldn't take THAT long to drive home from the dentist.
michigan is all boonies and the waltens live a half hour away from the elementary school, which is to imply they live in a more rural part of brighton. i've just always assumed it was oral surgery for like braces or sumn
Rosemary is sus to me
It's a series about haunted robots what did you think
This was probably different at the time, but literally yesterday I had a root canal treatment at 6pm yesterday and was awake for another like 7 hours. So the dental thing is probably not supposed to be suspicious
As someone from Michigan i can say stores here are open at weird times and close at weird times
No matter if you’re on the Felix apologist side or the Jack apologist side, we can all agree on one fact:
We’ve all at least seen one of them in our house at night.
I empathize with both of them for their trauma but Jesus Christ. Felix may be the worse person but JACK LOOKS TERRIFYING 😭😭😭
FR jack loves hanging out in my hallway at night 😟
i hate that I'm somehow both
oml, jack's having issues in the hallway. he's so tall he's crouching by the doorway. meanwhile i always hear phone calls in the living room (even though there's no phones there nor is there a single living being but me who decided to get a glass of water in the kitchen)
Dude I regularly look behind my back to see if eyeless withered Bon is behind me...
Fun fact: There’s a painting at the first birthday party that is exactly the same as one in my house. Like same matting and framing and everything.

honestly it seems that Felix is still around, but he's controlling Bon, who might be the spirit of Jack now filled with bloodlust. Felix doesn't sound like the guy to actually get his hands dirty, so having something to control and do his dirty work while he removes any and all trace of the Waltens. So maybe this can become a race against the clock to see who will get to Sophie first: Felix or her lost memories
I really did tought that Felix became Sophie's caretaker (providing her of pills and also making her work for the company) once her family went out of the picture as a way to deal with his own guilt.
I feel like Sophie is actually secretly Felix's child but Jack had no idea that's why he hasn't killed her despite having ample opportunity to
hiii, this is an amazing video, and I'm loving it so far! I would only like to make a small correction:
1.- Taking on count that Sophie was born in 1960, I personally disagree that the scene in Introductory Tape where she's shown wearing the Facility Caretaker uniform is a flashback. It probably is most likely a flash forward in time, as in the time when Rosemary wad killed (1974) and when most of the people claim that she was caretaker, Sophie would've been 14 or 15 y/o. I doubt that someone that young could've become a facility caretaker. Most likely why Brian was murdered is bc Bon at this point only has Sophie missing from the hit list that Billy played, so more than anything Bon is waiting for Sophie to go back to BSI and K-9 to complete his mission, making him kill whoever shows up expecting to finally get Sophie.
2.- In the letter from Felix's ex-wife she says that Cyberfun Tech was already a company by the time Felix and Jack were developing BSI, and they were the ones who financed the project and helped to build the robots, developed Bunnyfarm, and archived all the files regarding BSI, probably also the ones who covered up and erased all the info regarding the company's deaths and internal problems. So yeah, Felix and Jack didn't create Cyberfun.
I adored your video, it is amazingly done!
Hmmm, that can be very true too! Only time can really tell with this honestly, there's a lot of debates if that scene was a flashback or flash forward in time. I can see why it would be a flash forward but I personally just don't think it makes sense from a narrative perspective. Could definitely be the case though, good theory :)
I saw a theory that, since Jenny and Sophie are in a hotel, the uniform she was wearing is a hotel uniform. Which would also make sense with the red colour scheme of the uniform.
Idk where I heard this but I think Bon is programmed to kill anyone who knows or sees something they weren't supposed to so that Felix's past isn't revealed.
You said heard #CrabbyBoiisover
Martin said on Twitter jack is still alive a long time ago so this seems more likely
I agree with this! The real question is, who programmed him? It couldn’t have been Susan
Thank the lord I’m reading this on a Friday

At 30:29 , I personally see Charles’ mangled face, alongside the text “did you forget about me” being a nod at us not knowing exactly who he was / what happened to him.
On top of that, it could reference that Charles doesn’t remember what he looks like; Similar to how he didn’t recognize himself in Boozoo’s matching game?
This is all just me tho!
I don't know is Jack or Charles sketch for the next Waltan files Tape, but we wait.
That's an amazing theory.
If you look at the series retrospectively, only two characters are "highlighted" to be missing: Jack, with the whole walten files thing yknow, and Charles, whose death scene in bunnyfarm literally has audio of the word "missing" playing on a constant loop. Perhaps hijacking the contact hyperlink is his revenge for being forgotten.

(27:34): ah I’m so glad you brought up Everywhere At the End of Time! I only found it through dissecting the music in twf, and I do agree that it was likely chosen on purpose. The link between the theme of memory loss in EATEOT and Sophie being unable to remember her past feels too strong to just be a reference, and it was used before she was even formally introduced, which is really interesting!
I have another small theory, and it’s about Sophie with Bon showing up behind her in Introductory tape: I believe that that takes place in the future, or at last, farther along in the story than we’re granted in Bunny Farm. As of Bunny Farm, Sophie can hardly remember anything about Bunny Smiles or her childhood, but it’s obvious that at some point she does work there. I believe that immediately after Bunny Farm, she tries to find work at Bon’s in order to find more answers. There is a hole in this theory though, and it’s with Brian saying that Bon ‘thought he was her’, and the most commonly accepted theory is because they wore the same uniform, since they look physically nothing alike, and his death took place a few days before Bunny Farm.
I think that the song is heartaches beacuse in the video lucky you we can hear the lyrics of the song and it feels more extended
Sorry if this is late, but Bon escaped from the facility. If she decided to work there, he wouldn't be inside.
basically walten files:
chuck e cheese reject and his friends kill people because oh no store closed and stuffe- i mean beautified people
If I had a nickel for every time a horror series was made scarier to me by having a character with my name in it, I'd have two nickels. Yeah, it's only 10 cents, but it's funny that it happened twice.
I've had several creepypastas have my name in them at this point and many other unrelated sources (Christopher is a popular name I guess), but the creepypastas are all so "meh" I just go "cool" not "oh shit", which character has your name in this case?
Is that a reference to across the 2nd dimension xD
the name i go by is really obscure, so unless someone in twf is named after leaderless samurai im all good
This... this is not good.
tell me about it
I feel so sorry for anyone who encounters this series called Sophie
me too
Personally I don't think Felix killed Jack. Look at the size difference. Jack is a large healthy man. Felix is smaller and has unhealthy alcoholism. Also during the guilty tape he doesn't say how he will keep the crash secret. More about how Jack will feel because he is a broken man who cares about his friend. He made A LOT of shitty decisions but I just feel like Felix is not malicious
I know this is old but I was thinkin maybe he accident killed him? Martin has said Jack had a huge temper, and he's obviously *pissed* at the end of Bunnyfarm, maybe they had a confrontation where Felix did smth stupid on impulse and it killed Jack?
You know there’s this thing called a gun or knife.
Jack and Félix are almost the same size and even with the Alcohol, its is possible to Félix to kill jack
I'd say that Sophie dressed as a BSI guard is setting the stage for her confrontation with Bon rather than her past, since she is fairly young.
This is the first fnaf inspired thing to scare the living daylights out of me in awhile
One thing that id like to add about Sy05 is:
If you run the channel's name through a base64 translator like their comments, you get K-9
Maybe Sy05 is one of the caretaker who knew everything but decide to play along
The human characters look like alternates
Also i believe the people where shaped into the animatronics after beeing put into them, not just haunting them as ghosts
I believe with all my heart that The Walten Files and The Mandela Catalog exist in the same universe and if there's ever a cross over between them I will explode with joy!

My question is, what sense does it make for Jack to kill off his own family members if he's indeed controlling Bon? To me, it seems that Felix is controlling Bon, and Bon is programmed to kill the Waltens for knowing too much about the car crash, as well as anybody who tries to investigate the Bon suit. (Susan and Brian). Still, that feels too straightforward, and doesn't answer an lot of questions, like the repetitive theme of making people beautiful by stuffing them into the animatronic suits, or the Shadow Man feeding Banny. Hopefully, Walten Files 4 gives us more clues!
ESPECIALLY when he wasn’t abusive. Jack is a good dude, I don’t think he would just kill his family and friends like that :/
Felix isn't the one who program the animatronic, and susan is dead
Also,animatronic ain't that advance during 1900's
Like, compare fnaf 1 animatronic with the one in Security beach for example (i know that this is not fnaf, just inspired by it but my point still stand)
Given Bon supposedly killed Rosemary and stuffed her into Sha to "make her beautiful", I'm guessing Jack sees it as something positive, in his maddened state of mind. Probably the last efforts of a broken man trying to bring together his broken family. All the others just seem like unfortunate casualties tho.
During one of the jump scares in bunnyfarm you can see that Susan says she feels alive but her stomach feels weird which means people stuffed in the animatronics are not in control but if I'm wrong Jack is probably killing his family because of his own hatred toward Felix
fantastic video !! thank you for this. on the 'programmed to kill' theory abt 21 minutes in tho-- i believe this has been personally dismissed by martin on twitter. jack and felix got business degrees together and aren't educated on how animatronics work. susan woodings programmed most of the animatronics if i'm remembering correctly. so no technological foul play, but it was a cool theory nonetheless !!
There is a theory that Jack found out what happened to Ed and Molly and confronted Felix. Jack either threatened to kill Felix or call the cops, causing Felix to panic and kills Jack using Bon. Realizing what he did, Felix hid Jack's body inside of Bon so he could figure out his next move. Bon would later continue to be used as a weapon to stop others from finding out the truth with Jack now possessing the animatronic. Everything Bon has done, Jack was forced to witness and do against his will. Including his own wife's death.
I love that you made this becuase I loved the walten files and I find the videos very interesting.

Ever since I saw analog horror like the Mandela catalogue, wanted files, and harmony and horror is actually pretty scary and I love it.
the walten files is one of the best peices of horror media in recent years. edit: mandela catalogue is also amazing.
This my theory on the Walten files: when Jacks other two children died, Jack got depressed and committed suicide. He committed suicide somewhere where no one could find his body, which is why people claim him as missing. Felix went insane by how he killed Jacks two kids and Felix committed suicide. Felix possessed the bon animatronic and began murdering people to make himself happy again.
Lol
I mean its highly unlikely but who am I to know

Also, for those wondering: No, none of the other tapes (at least for the first season) will be as long as Bunnyfarm. Martin stated that at least the following three episodes will be at most 30 minutes or so
I somehow felt obsessed with The Walten Files, cause of it being one of the best (In my opinion) Analog horror series.
But what I like the most of this video, is how Daggz tries to say "31 minutos"
If your wondering about Charles connection to the walten files it is theorized that susan is Charlies sister
Charles and susan I think were employed by Bons Burgers to maintain the animatronics and dont have a relation to the Walten family, same with Ashley, maybe both Susan and Charles, like Ashely..saw something they weren't supposed to see, and were made "beautiful" thats my take I guess

about the Felix killed Jack point in tier three, I've sort of come up with what I assume is maybe my own theory ... Jack was killed out of guilt and fear by Felix. He couldnt stand what he did to his children because of his own children. And for reasons I believe to be said guilt a fear, he killed Jack. He didnt want him to know what he did to his kids... so now way he would find out if he was dead. It was probably in a fit of drunk too, I can see him commiting this act in a alcoholic remorse/sadness state.

Surprised that this wasn't mentioned, but when you convert Sy05 through Base64 it translates to "K-9". Thought I'd put that out there,
I'm interested in why Jack's disappearance takes more precedence over his children's disappearance. You would think they'd highlight the fact that his children disappeared, and then two weeks later he did too. It's so easy to forget about his other two children, but in universe the children should be the main headline.
Fun Fact: Jack Walten's face is Martin Wall's [creator of TWF] face! And Martin even voices Jack!
Theories:
1. In "Lucky You", when the voice says, "Safety In Pills, Sophie"
It might mean that Sophie would be more safer with the pills or taking them, whoever is talking to her says that it's better off than not to remember what happened
2. Showbear may be possessed by Jack their smiles are very similar, he may be trying to make Sophie remember what happened.
3. when Sha said that to be careful because the facility can be a very easy place to get lost maybe it despise that Susan got lost trying to get out of the facility and soon got captured by Bon to her death.
4. Felix might be the shadow man, if it gets confusing I'll tell you some evidence that I know that he's the shadow man. my sister told me that Who records the deaths and I thought about Felix first since in bunny farm he told us that he always had a recorder when he's drunk so he knows that it wasn't a bad dream any can remember what happened so maybe he saw Susan inside Banny, which implies of how Susan or the woman who is saying the rabbit is starving and how the woman also said the rabbit needs the attention of the owner.
Felix is confirmed to be the shadowman in the showstoppers 2 album he made, specifically in the song “slowly”
Look at the subtitles in the album (HINT HINT)
That looks like the Crack Version of Fnaf which some creepy guy in a side street gives you while telling you 'Not to let them get it.'
holy shit
Something about the way the animatronics look and talks, just makes me shiver.
has it been canonically confirmed that jenny and sophie are dating? if so, when? im new to the fandom so im not sure but i’ve always suspected something lmao
Martin confirmed it on Twitter, from what I can tell it's probably just a very minor detail and was just added for some worldbuilding, which is fine! In my opinion, I'm just more intrigued who Bon's next victim is going to be lol
@@Daggz thank you! as a person in the lgbtq community that makes me very happy :)
the walten files aren’t very scary but once you figure the lore out it haunts you…
I'm only at 4:34 but I hope we take into account the Showstoppers soundtrack for lure cause it confirms Felix is the Shadowman!
FINALLY! SOMEONE ACKNOWLEDGES IT!
@@goldengurl172 i think you forgot to switch accounts bud

i think it’s interesting you called the black figure shadow man because in the newer lost album it talks abt the shadow man saying “shadow man watches from the dark, he knows he wrecked that car, he swears he had no part” but i also think that shadow could be sophie. the sy05 tiktok also talks the shadow figure.
i think jack walten might be bon, but that's only cause we usually see jack's face when bon is around
It’s ok you are in the comment section now, nothing can hurt you
As a Utahn, it's always jarring to hear people pronounce "Hurricane" correctly. It's a pretty well known city in Southern Utah and everybody here pronounces it "hurrikin" when talking about the town.
Also I gotta say, I grew up maybe 25 minutes away from hurricane, so when rumors spread that fnaf was real AND in hurricane, I lost my shit. I straight up thought Freddy would hop towns and get me lmao.
Now I appreciate content like this it is great but the thing is the Walten files are an iceberg themselves
OOF
damn nobody talks about the shadow man lore 👀
6:02 BTW its not an old one, it's just in development and is going to be in some local arcades (according to a video that was deleted because it was a teaser)(also not IRL)
Ive been in the walten files since it began and i was really creeped out on the series because it reminded of the old rock band posters you would get at a LIVE concert.
during the time we meet Holly, Banny calls her "Pretty Horse Girl" before blushing. a scene put out of context by thinking that Banny has a crush on her but once again, that's only if you see the scene without context.
Me who doesn't know everything about walten files watching this:☺️
Here is the anniversary video: ua-cam.com/video/EPZ_bhokIMM/v-deo.html
[Because it was unlisted]
27:17 They actually play the song Heartaches, not the caretaker music. Of course Caretaker did inspire by the music and used it as a source for it. The meaning of Heartaches is the feeling of missing, the line "It's just a burning memory" comes right from this song. Yeah, that's it.
Y’all this is not real stop saying you’ve seen him in your house or dreams your going to scare innocent little kids. If there are any kids reading this These videos are fake and made up don’t worry
Here’s some that your missing
Hiddy the weasel
The original Walten files
Takes place at the fnaf universe
My theory is after jack was killed he went completely insane due to his condition and because of this he decides to kill his friends and family to make them just like him "Beautiful".
But he is alive, Martin confirmed that Jack is alive
