Fantastic idea, making the 5-sided piece big to focus on the fabric! You have a very pleasant voice, appreciate the soft music, great tutorial. Thanks.
@@juliatepe5760 I didn't thing of that! But yes that shape does look like a birdhouse! It would just take a little applique circle to complete the look!
I love to make crazy and string blocks and it's always a pleasure to see yours. I use old sheets for foundations. Because of this, the blocks are thicker so I back my quilts with polar fleece and don't use batting. I donate most of them to my quilt guilds charity. Thanks so much for sharing yours!
What a lovely bright fresh quilt. I love scrap quilting and 90% of my quilts are scrap. Crazy quilting can sometimes be dreary and heavy looking, but you've knocked that theory on its head. Beautiful tfs. (that sheet was a great purchase). Love from Wales UK xxxxxxx
Thanks so much! I still have a lot of that sheet left, and thinking of making at least one block with fabric foundation so I can demonstrate how to do decorative stitches with my sewing machine.
Gerry- I have used the thinnest sew on interfacing as a foundation, I can always get that at 50% off. For smaller pieces I use used dryer sheets. I love what you did. God bless.
Very bright and cheerful, and the bit of red is just perfect. I finally got the hang of sashing so my quilts are looking really great now! Thanks for the video!
I love you and your UA-cam instructional videos and to make scrap quilts, but I hate to finish the quilts. Help!! What can I do to get motivated to finish them?? Thank you 🙂
Finishing Quilts is like housework. You don't want to, but you feel great when it's all done! Here are a couple of videos I've made, and I hope they are helpful. ua-cam.com/play/PLNgJsWBvdLlGUoWT63VFh6UkZaHyx9-Je.html
What do you use for the backing of your quilts and are you doing it? I would very much appreciated if you could show it in one of your videos 😊 thank you for your lovely work 🙏.
You're very welcome! For backing, I try to find great deals on 108" fabric in neutral grey or beige. I have a couple of videos of finishing quilts at this link. ua-cam.com/play/PLNgJsWBvdLlGUoWT63VFh6UkZaHyx9-Je.html
What a beautiful idea and more beautiful outcome. I also enjoy your videos. 😊
Thanks so much!

Beautiful 😍 this would be a great QAG quilt.
Indeed it would! I don't usually do QAYG quilts, but I do have a shopping tote QAYG project I'm thinking of making into a video. Thanks for watching!
