The flying geese quilt reminds me of a grown up’s I Spy quilt! You sure are making me fall in love with hand quilting again😊 Also, I liked the last picture of the squares block. It might help you when you finish piecing the rest for color choices.
So so love that flying geese quilt❣️ I actually like the look of how you put the 2” block squares together….the “reds” diagonally pull it together & it is so colorful 🥰 I’m sure whatever you decide will be beautiful ❤
I think those 2.5 "pieces you've made into blocks are very nice. When you put them together and match the colours, it makes another pattern which I really like - trip around the world. Keep on going, it will turn out beautiful.
I have watched quilting videos for a long time. Finally I have found someone who does wonderful work with simple patterns. Just what I needed. I've never hand quilted but after watching how you do it I'm going to give it a try. Thank you, Sue.
I'm so happy to hear that you're going to give it a go! Just remember that hand quilting is a marathon, and not a sprint. It will take a while. I hope you enjoy it!
I was so excited to see you get to the point that you were going to quilt, and then you didn’t…😢😂😂. Would love to see you hand quilt briefly and also see how you thread baste a quilt. Love your channel!
Yes. Definitely continue with those big blocks You showed toward the end of the video. Almost looks like a trip around the world. Could put them end to end with the red diagonal going zigzaggy for a strip down center or offset down the back of a quilt. They are beautiful blocks.
So happy I found your videos! I do like the trip around the world where the reds and blues come together! I look forward to seeing more of your projects and finds!
Your quilts are inspirational. I totally love them and relate to scrap quilting and upcycling fabric. Beautiful work. I started quilting in oct 2024 and also use shirts, old sheets etc. I am however making a Liberty quilt currently using samples. 🇮🇪🇮🇪
Thanks so much, I'm so happy to hear there are more scrap lovers out there! Is there a pattern called Liberty, or are you using Liberty fabrics? A friend of mine is currently hand piecing a top using Liberty fabrics-- they are so beautiful!
I like it either way. Yes it’s busy but farther away. It’s beautiful. Make a few more blocks and see how you feel by putting some more Values of your colors.. I know it will turn out wonderful no matter what you do. You have an absolute gift for design.❤
how fabulous you are! wonderful quilts and tips and a REAL person! watched all your videos. I love to make scrap quilts too. Keep spreading the word! Love mary in texas
Thank you for joining me in my sewing room! It's just me working in here, so I won't have as many finishes as other UA-camrs.... I hope you enjoy the process with me, even if it takes time!
The scrappy blocks laide with the blue in the center reminds me of a trip around the worrld.. They look lovely. You could make a medallion quilt with those four in the middle, then different blocks in borders around it. make 1 more block and put the four in the corners of the quilt. Thanks for sharing
I think that trip around the world quilt will be beautiful when you get it finished! Just keep adding blocks with that red diagonal row and it will form itself into a show stopper!
Oh, I was so hoping you were going to show us how you actually hand quilt. But I learned how to use my QSnap frames, and that it doesn’t have to be so taught as I thought it did. You learn something new every day. That line-drawn cats fabric, I bought some of that online 😻! I love the back of your blue-and-white vintage quilt, especially the four-patches scattered throughout. Thanks for your video, I hope you’ll do some hand quilting in a future video 😊
Oh, I do love that cat fabric! We just finished filming some hand quilting, on the blue and white snowball quilt. That video should be up in a week or so... I hope you enjoy it!
I think that the backing that you crafted for the blue quilt is perfect. Absolutely this should be a scrappy Trip around the world like Bonnie Hunter does. Keep with the red and blues and it will be gorgeous.
Love your channel and that flying geese quilt is so so pretty. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on working with scraps. My preference as well and I have lots to learn ❤
I just started watching your channel and have really enjoyed watching your videos. Your love of quilting shines through in your videos. I have hand quilted many quilts so I really appreciate that in your quilting. I have used men’s flannel shirts to make a rag quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
The trip around the world will look good once you have way more than 7 blocks. I remember how bad I thought mine looked in the beginning. But it all came together. It took alot of time for me to piece it.
I'm enjoying your channel. I love "busy" and my vote is to continue the whole quilt (trip around world style). Wow, what beautiful fabrics you found at the quilt show. The fill a bag from the scrap "bin" is my favorite part of quilt show. 😻😻.
I enjoy watching your channel ❤. You have a wonderfully creative mind. I learn every time I watch you. Keep going as you are with the orphan blocks😊. I think it will be a beautiful quilt. ❤
I like the second option for the scrappy blocks! I think mixing them up with orphan blocks would be too busy. I think the red diagonals and blue centers are just enough to make it cohesive without losing the fun scrappiness!
Continue making the scrappy trip around the world quilt you will love it. When it's done I'll guarantee you won't notice the busyness. Continued success with your channel.
Your flying geese quilt is a Magnificent quilt. I’m also trying to use up fabrics that I have had for many years. I just finished a Tiny Nine Patch quilt with over 1,000 pieces that finished at 2” squares.
That's something I'm planning on making soon, too, but mine will finish at 3". Kudos to you for making them 2", that is impressive!! I'd love to see it.
@ I would love to send you a picture in instagram. I sent you a message and am trying to follow you but it says I need to be accepted by you before I can send another message.
Good morning Susan I forgot to tell you my daughters name is Susan as well so that’s a coincidence and I just wanted you to know I’m going to try the flying geese and I have an idea on how to do it, but I didn’t know about the fillings and I guess you just changed the colors so I should be OK and if I’m not, I’ll be giving you a shoutso thanks again for your help and now you’re doing a great job thank you😊😊😊😊😊😊
I like it better when you put them together I'd keep going with it but everyone has there own likes and dislikes. your work is great looking forward to more videos
Thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to continue putting the blocks together over the winter, and probably play around with a trip around the world layout.
I find your channel so relaxing! Thanks for your video's. If you don't like the trip around the world look, I like the idea of putting orphan blocks in between, but I would also do sashing between the squares-blocks and the orphan blocks, to give the eye a place to rest. Instead of orphan blocks, I think flying geese units would look nice too. Anyway, love to hear what you end up doing!
I prefer to thread baste quilts, too…the pins let the fabric shift and catch my thread! And I use old threads too…and put the empty wooden spools in jars!
Just found your channel and thoroughly enjoying it! I like the idea of the scrappy around the world quilt too....but when you had the four big blocks together, I saw that repeating through the quilt so you had diamonds with the blue centres and the red zigzagging through...I think it could be such a fun scrappy quilt whichever way you decide to go ❤
Hello! Your 2nd layout, with the blues coming toward the center, gives a trip around the world type block, which I have always liked. In your first layout, where you thought of using orphan blocks in between, made me want to use a plain or neutral in between,,.just a thought. You make beautiful things, and I'm sure whatever you decide in the end will be great. I am enjoying your videos so much! Mavis
I like the way you sort your scraps. Mines need help. I have them by colors, but I need to cut them into shapes. I like the trip around the world, the last version of your blocks.
I really like the whole quilt version you laid out at the end - it made me think of a summer picnic for some reason and that made me smile:) Thinking on it, the reds and blues reminded me of the blue jeans and red bandanas of my teenage summers:) Beautiful flying geese quilt. Loving how you use your scraps. I subscribed hoping to eventually see those $1.50 scrap bag scraps in various quits as you make them.
guild swap quilt. You said you used the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper and each unit measures 1.5” x 3” and you used 4.5” squares to start out of which you got 4 units. I love the aqua border and the black background. Would you mind if I showed your quilt as an example for the swap?
I enjoy watching your channel. Thanks for sharing all your projects. They all look awesome. Love the blocks as a trip around the world quilt. Currently working on one myself.
I love your channel! Just discovered you. Kate on 'The Last Homely House' UA-cam made a quilt very similar using Kaffe Fasset jelly rolls. The blocks were all different, but were stunning when put together. I think the blocks are the same size as yours. I think you should keep making them. ❤
Keep going with the rainbow. Those can be fun with the final arranging. Also a sum of its parts, by the end the totality will shine so you don't see the individual bits that bug you. (Like when you rescue vintage blocks...) Worst case scenario - it can be a nice donation quilt or quilt top.
Thanks for giving me a different perspective to consider! Some of my friends are in a guild which works with charity donations, so if it turns out unfortunately, I'll give it to them.
I love your videos. I used to do everything by hand - piecing, applique, quilting - but then developed arthritis. So now I machine piece and send tops out for machine quilting. It is really not the same, but I am thankful I can continue making quilts.
Keep doing that, keep being creative. We're all at different stages of our quilting life, and as long as you can keep creating and it brings you joy-- that's a wonderful thing.
Your flying geese quilt is stunning! I love the pops of color against the black background. I never thought I would say this but hand quilting is my favorite part of quilting as well. I hand quilt all of mine too but not near as intricate as yours. Just beautiful ❤
With your “Trip Around the world’ blocks, I like them. Either way you laid the out would look cool. (Maybe you count make a couple with green [or blue, or pink…] going diagonally through the centre and see how that looks together with opposing red diagonal ones? Just a random thought 💭. I would definitely keep going though, love their look!
Thank you for the suggestion, that is something I hadn't considered. That quilt is on teh back burner for now-- I still haven't gotten back to making more blocks.
My name is Sue, too, and I'm from northwestern Pennsylvania 🙂 I haven't been quilting as long as you have, but my Mom loved color and fabric and quilting, so I've been surrounded by it all my life (40 years). I also hand quilt and make scrappy quilts. I had to be creative because I couldn't afford to buy new fabric (well, my fabric is usually "new" as in never used before). I have since made a quilt using a current fabric collection and found it rather boring 🤭 even though it was beautiful fabric.
Just found you. Wish you were my neighbor. We have so much in common! I’m jealous of your scrap bag sale. Our local quilt guild has one every year but their prices are a lot more than what you’re paying. I hope you keep going for a long time with your channel. New subscriber here.
I am really lucky to have access to the bargains there are around here.... just wait until you see all the ties I've got! Thanks for being here with me!
I love the large pieced blocks together like a diamond , as you’ve shown at 26:26 in ur video. And hv orphan blocks around the diamond and maybe the remaining large pieced blocks at each corner of your quilt, with orphan and fabric to fill ur quilt to size 💖 Sue ur amazing, I haven’t been in my sewing corner for months (February actually) how do you time manage ur play (sewing 🥹💖) with household chores. 🙏🏼 thank you for inspiring me to just play 🥹👋 Chris Ontario 🇨🇦 remember to vote . . We’re scared up here … 🩵🦋💙
Thank you for the suggestion! Honestly, I balance sewing and chores by doing as few chores as possible! I would love to have a spotless house, but unfortunately I have always hated cleaning. I almost always start my morning with a few hours of quilting and a cup of tea, and spend afternoons working up in my sewing room. These days, I'm losing a lot of time to my cat--- he is young and wants me to play with him for hours, so I have to set boundaries there!
Good morning Sue this is Marion Jay and I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m 92 years old next week that was 27th of November and so I can’t do very much but I love fabrics. I spend a lot of money buying that cord and things I just love to look at them and I do make a few things. My bags are pretty but far from being perfect, but I don’t mind, I’ve already had my perfect days. I was a mess of embroidery for hand. I made Irish stand stressless for seven years and they really did a lot of damage to my eyes so I have Mac generation and can’t do it anymore but I have a lot of fun and I find you work very interesting. I never dreamed of buying men’s shirts to cut up, but it would even be fun to do And that I love buttons too, so yeah, I’ve found your work and I want you to know that I’m not a good creator of the quilt however I do make little ones and then not perfect either but I do a lot of Jack and Jill not Jack and Jill but Raggedy Ann and stuff and Barbie and I love it so thank you so much and I, yeah I just signed up to your channel and we’ll see where it goes. Thank you so much.
Happy birthday!! It sounds like you've had an interesting sewing history, and tried many things that I've never attempted. I'm glad you're still making things, and being creative. I hope you know my work isn't perfect, either! I'm glad you're joining me in my little sewing room.
My opinion on your quilt blocks: I saw enough contrast in color and value for the pattern to be instantly seen. On screen the colors looked great. I would put the blocks together like you show at the end and finish it for sure! But you see it in person and if your heart doesn’t sing… could you make a few more blocks and then decide? I hope you continue. Loved the video! Your camera person is doing a great job!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm planning now on making more blocks, maybe over a couple months as a background project. My daughter is doing the filming and editing-- and convinced me to start doing these videos!
Your scrappy blocks at the end of the video are like a pattern from Bonnie Hunter, that she calls scrappy trips. Because you have red squares running diagonally, the whole pattern will look nice, in my opinion, when it’s complete. I did one like this where my middle diagonals were navy and dark gray. Hope that helps!
Bonnie Hunter is my inspiration for this block-- I've made a few trip-around-the-world quilts before, but wasn't sure my colors were going to work this time around. Thank you for the feedback!
The reason your qsnaps crack is because they shouldn’t be popped off. I learned on flosstube that you should slide them off. I also use them for hand quilting. You can buy replacements. Your flying geese are beautiful.
I agree with your other viewers. It looks great as view two. Just make a couple more blocks and make a laprobe or toddler quilt, but who says it's too busy.
I love the start of your trip around the world quilt. I would put the blocks together and keep going. I like that it primary colors but different shades so it’s not childish.
Love ❤ the 2” blocks at the end. You probably already did something with them but wondering what it would look like to sash with 4” white scrappy and red corner stones? Could you get something like an Trip Around the World or World or Irish chain? 🤗
Thank you so much!
I think those 2.5 "pieces you've made into blocks are very nice. When you put them together and match the colours, it makes another pattern which I really like - trip around the world. Keep on going, it will turn out beautiful.
Thank you! I'll keep working on it over the next couple months and see what happens.
I like the 2nd look. Trip around the world. Beautiful
Thank you for the encouragement!
I like the one with the blue in the middle. It looks like the around the world quilt.
100%
Yes. Definitely continue with those big blocks You showed toward the end of the video. Almost looks like a trip around the world. Could put them end to end with the red diagonal going zigzaggy for a strip down center or offset down the back of a quilt. They are beautiful blocks.
Thank you for the suggestion! I think I'll continue with the project this winter.
So happy I found your videos! I do like the trip around the world where the reds and blues come together! I look forward to seeing more of your projects and finds!
Thank you for your feedback! I think I will continue making them into a full-size quilt.
Your quilts are inspirational. I totally love them and relate to scrap quilting and upcycling fabric. Beautiful work. I started quilting in oct 2024 and also use shirts, old sheets etc. I am however making a Liberty quilt currently using samples. 🇮🇪🇮🇪

love the bright geese against the black sky
Thanks! I don't use black as a background much, but I bought a bolt this year and am having fun changing it up.
Yes continue your quilt and look up woodberry way - scrappy trip around the world quilt. Your quilt is beautiful. Love your feed.
It looks beautiful-- thanks for the suggestion!
❤reminds me of a scrappy trip around the world could always give to charity❤
I like it either way. Yes it’s busy but farther away. It’s beautiful. Make a few more blocks and see how you feel by putting some more Values of your colors.. I know it will turn out wonderful no matter what you do. You have an absolute gift for design.❤
Thank you for the input! I plan to continue with them now-- hopefully it turns out well!
I think you should continue on with those delicious blocks! Your work is AMAZON! I✏️🧵✂️🪡📏
Thank you! That seems to be the popular opinion, so I think I'll continue it this winter.
how fabulous you are! wonderful quilts and tips and a REAL person! watched all your videos. I love to make scrap quilts too. Keep spreading the word! Love mary in texas
Thank you for joining me in my sewing room! It's just me working in here, so I won't have as many finishes as other UA-camrs.... I hope you enjoy the process with me, even if it takes time!
I love your channel-thank and for sharing ❤️😁🌹
Thank you for joining me!
Thank you for the video. The trip around the world set up looks great. I sure enjoy you teaching and input so thank you for your help.
That flying geese quilt is absolutely stunningly beautiful , I really love bright colors & set into black makes it pop!!
Thank you! I don't work with black backgrounds very often, and I agree, it really makes the colors pop.
The scrappy blocks laide with the blue in the center reminds me of a trip around the worrld.. They look lovely. You could make a medallion quilt with those four in the middle, then different blocks in borders around it. make 1 more block and put the four in the corners of the quilt. Thanks for sharing
I like the way you think-- I do want to make a medallion quilt one day! It's on my very long list. Thanks for the suggestion!
Yes make those last blocks into a trip around the world , it’s looking good.
I think that trip around the world quilt will be beautiful when you get it finished! Just keep adding blocks with that red diagonal row and it will form itself into a show stopper!
Thank you so much for your suggestion and support!
Thank you for the input! I plan to continue the trip around the world this winter. Bonnie Hunter is such an inspiration to me-- and countless others!
My vote is trip around the world !! So cute keep going 😊
Love your channel and that flying geese quilt is so so pretty. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on working with scraps. My preference as well and I have lots to learn ❤
Thank you! I'm so happy to meet more scrap lovers.
@@fromsmallthings509 ♥️♥️
Absolutely gorgeous work. You must have more patience than anyone I have ever seen. Beautiful work, beautiful lady.
Thank you, I'm just doing what I love!
I just started watching your channel and have really enjoyed watching your videos. Your love of quilting shines through in your videos. I have hand quilted many quilts so I really appreciate that in your quilting. I have used men’s flannel shirts to make a rag quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
I’m new to your channel. I just had to subscribe to your channel. Thank you for sharing your work. God bless you and your family have a blessed day.
The trip around the world will look good once you have way more than 7 blocks. I remember how bad I thought mine looked in the beginning. But it all came together. It took alot of time for me to piece it.
Thank you for your encouragement! I think this one will be a longer-term project to work on this winter.
I'm enjoying your channel. I love "busy" and my vote is to continue the whole quilt (trip around world style). Wow, what beautiful fabrics you found at the quilt show. The fill a bag from the scrap "bin" is my favorite part of quilt show. 😻😻.
I agree it is such a great channel. Sue is such an inspiration.
Thank you! The scrap bin is definitely my favorite part, also.
I wouldn’t mix the orphans with such a busy block. And I think you will have fun putting the scrap blocks together when you have enough of them.
Thanks for the input!
Sue...the around the world configuration looks great...the other would be sashing between the blocks...I enjoy all the scrappy fabric...best wishes ❤
Thank you for the input! I'm planning on making more blocks this winter to make it a full quilt.
I love your flying geese quilt. Its stunning!❤
Thank you!
I enjoy watching your channel ❤.
You have a wonderfully creative mind.
I learn every time I watch you.
Keep going as you are with the orphan blocks😊.
I think it will be a beautiful quilt.
❤
Thank you so much! I think I will continue with them, in between working on other projects.
It looks great the four together.
I like the second option for the scrappy blocks! I think mixing them up with orphan blocks would be too busy. I think the red diagonals and blue centers are just enough to make it cohesive without losing the fun scrappiness!
Thank you for your input! I'm going to continue with it this winter.
I like th orphan blocks sewn together without sashing orphan blocks. Very cute!
Continue making the scrappy trip around the world quilt you will love it. When it's done
I'll guarantee you won't notice the busyness. Continued success with your channel.
Thank you! I think I will continue working on it here and there over the winter.
Good morning Susan I forgot to tell you my daughters name is Susan as well so that’s a coincidence and I just wanted you to know I’m going to try the flying geese and I have an idea on how to do it, but I didn’t know about the fillings and I guess you just changed the colors so I should be OK and if I’m not, I’ll be giving you a shoutso thanks again for your help and now you’re doing a great job thank you😊😊😊😊😊😊
Good luck with the flying geese, I'm sure it will turn out great!
I like it better when you put them together I'd keep going with it but everyone has there own likes and dislikes. your work is great looking forward to more videos
Thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to continue putting the blocks together over the winter, and probably play around with a trip around the world layout.
Brilliant idea to use four needles for quilting!
I just started doing it so I don't have to move my hoop/frame as often. It's very efficient!
I love the back of the quilt. Great use and way to recycle fabrics.
I love a quilt with a special something on the back! I think it's a great way to use some orphan blocks a bit at a time.
Thanks for the suggestions! Flying geese is a nice idea. These blocks aren't a top priority right now, but I'm going to keep going with them.
I prefer to thread baste quilts, too…the pins let the fabric shift and catch my thread! And I use old threads too…and put the empty wooden spools in jars!
I collect my old spools, too!! And I wish I had started doing that from the very beginning.
I like your project. It would continue with the small squares and the colour combinations. Whole quilt!
Thanks for the input!
I love it!!!❤❤❤As is!!!
I love your border..it’s a good colour to tie it all in!
Thank you!
I like those blocks making a red diamond. Trip around the world.
Thank you!
The whole quilt version looks much better to me. I think it will be beautiful to carry on with the same colors.
Thank you for the feedback! I think I will continue with it this winter.
Liking your channel very much . Inspired to hand quilt again. Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Thank you! I hope it goes well for you-- it does take a LOT of time!
Beautiful ❤
Thank you!
Just found your channel and thoroughly enjoying it!
I like the idea of the scrappy around the world quilt too....but when you had the four big blocks together, I saw that repeating through the quilt so you had diamonds with the blue centres and the red zigzagging through...I think it could be such a fun scrappy quilt whichever way you decide to go ❤
Thank you for the input! That would be an interesting version for a trip around the world!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm thinking of making a full-size trip around the world at this point.
Hi😊, I like the second look better✌🏼❤
I like the way you sort your scraps. Mines need help. I have them by colors, but I need to cut them into shapes. I like the trip around the world, the last version of your blocks.
Best of luck! I find the best sizes to keep on hand are 2 1/2" squares and strips. It's a good place to start!
Thank you! I can see the connection to a picnic blanket, that's a wonderful thought.
guild swap quilt. You said you used the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper and each unit measures 1.5” x 3” and you used 4.5” squares to start out of which you got 4 units. I love the aqua border and the black background. Would you mind if I showed your quilt as an example for the swap?
Feel free! I'm glad you like the quilt. I hope you all enjoy making it!
I enjoy watching your channel. Thanks for sharing all your projects. They all look awesome. Love the blocks as a trip around the world quilt. Currently working on one myself.
Thank you for the input! I think it is bound to become a full trip around the world as well.
I love your channel! Just discovered you. Kate on 'The Last Homely House' UA-cam made a quilt very similar using Kaffe Fasset jelly rolls. The blocks were all different, but were stunning when put together. I think the blocks are the same size as yours. I think you should keep making them. ❤
I watch The Last Homely House also, and really enjoyed her videos during the pandemic especially. I think I know the quilt you're talking about!
Keep going with the rainbow. Those can be fun with the final arranging. Also a sum of its parts, by the end the totality will shine so you don't see the individual bits that bug you. (Like when you rescue vintage blocks...) Worst case scenario - it can be a nice donation quilt or quilt top.

I love the red diagonal also and would think it would make a fun quilt!
Thanks! It may be an on-and-off project over the winter months.
i love and use Wing Clipper ruler very accurate!
It's my favorite, too!
Your flying geese quilt is stunning! I love the pops of color against the black background. I never thought I would say this but hand quilting is my favorite part of quilting as well. I hand quilt all of mine too but not near as intricate as yours. Just beautiful ❤
Thank you so much. I don't do anything fancy with hand quilting, it's usually pretty simple-- but I like to put a good amount of quilting on.
the blocks at the end would make a good Trip Around The World.
Thanks for showing your four needle quilting process!
The blocks you are making.....looks like a Trip Around the World. Looks great, keep going.
Thank you for your feedback!
Beautiful quilt. I love how you handled the 9 patch/snowball quilt.
Thanks! The snowball is third in line for quilting now.
I just found your channel and am loving your videos. I love making scrappy quilts too. Thanks for sharing all the great tips.
Thank you for joining! I'm having fun doing these videos so far. I love that there are so many scrappy quilters out there!
I like the round the world you have already done. No need to change.
Thank you for the feedback!
I agree with previous commenters -- create an 'Around the World' look with those big blocks.
I just found your channel. Love the trips around the world. Please go further with the blocks
Thank you! I think I will continue making them gradually over the winter.
I feel the same way. I used to have fabric envy when I saw everyone's perfectly coordinated quilts, but now I have fully embraced and love the scraps!
WooWhoo! Stuffing bags ful of scraps! So so fun!
Absolutely!
I love the second option. Think it’s beautiful.
Lovely ❤
Just found you. Wish you were my neighbor. We have so much in common! I’m jealous of your scrap bag sale. Our local quilt guild has one every year but their prices are a lot more than what you’re paying.
I hope you keep going for a long time with your channel. New subscriber here.
I am really lucky to have access to the bargains there are around here.... just wait until you see all the ties I've got! Thanks for being here with me!
I love the large pieced blocks together like a diamond , as you’ve shown at 26:26 in ur video. And hv orphan blocks around the diamond and maybe the remaining large pieced blocks at each corner of your quilt, with orphan and fabric to fill ur quilt to size 💖
Sue ur amazing, I haven’t been in my sewing corner for months (February actually) how do you time manage ur play (sewing 🥹💖) with household chores.
🙏🏼 thank you for inspiring me to just play 🥹👋
Chris Ontario 🇨🇦 remember to vote .
Love the red diagonal, like small trip around the world! Whole quilt, keep going with it. Enjoy your videos so much.
Thank you for the encouragement. Sometimes I need a little break from projects just to think them over.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilts.
Thank you for watching!
I vote whole quilt! I love the way its looking.
Thanks for your opinion! I'll see what develops...
You are so organized! I’m telling all my friends about you! Birds of a feather…
Haha, I have my own little systems, but I bet it would look like chaos to a lot of people!
Love that flying geese scrap quilt. Perfect!
Thank you! It turned out better than I had anticipated.
Whole quilt..the more blocks you put together the better I like it!
Thank you for your vote of confidence!
I’m glad! You have a lot to offer!
Good to know! They do last for years, and I do like using them.
I agree with your other viewers. It looks great as view two. Just make a couple more blocks and make a laprobe or toddler quilt, but who says it's too busy.
Thank you for the feedback. I'll probably continue making them throughout the winter and see where it ends up.
I love the start of your trip around the world quilt. I would put the blocks together and keep going. I like that it primary colors but different shades so it’s not childish.
Thank you for the feedback; I think that's what I'll do.
I think your blocks look great.
Thanks!
Sew pretty😊
I appreciate your four needle tip. I never heard that before.
I've tried eight at a time also, but I'll never do that again! Four is a good number to work with.
Just found you! Yay! Love your work!
Thank you so much!
For sure, do the whole quilt.
Another beautiful quilt!
Thanks so much!
Just found you recently and love your channel! You're my kind of quilter :)
That's great! I'm happy to share our mutual love of quilts.
Stunning quilt!
Thank you!
Love ❤ the 2” blocks at the end. You probably already did something with them but wondering what it would look like to sash with 4” white scrappy and red corner stones? Could you get something like an Trip Around the World or World or Irish chain? 🤗
That sounds really intriguing! I'm going to keep making the blocks, then maybe try some different layouts. Thank you for the suggestion!
