Bon knew he was going into a sober period during the recording of the album. He died during his last dip into heroin after all. So here he was mentally and physically going off drugs and alcohol.
So, you can't really see him, and he's miming, but you can tell he's ill? There are photos of him at the Music Machine from the night he died, he looks the same as usual. Full of life and mischief.
Read in a book: the night before the morning he died, Bon had purchased some heroine from a guy at a club. The guy knew Scott was a heavy drinker and warned him not to drink while on heroine because it suppresses the reflexes and if he vomited he wouldn't be able to expel it. Sadly, he didn't heed the warning.
I certainly wouldn't say it's their rawest at all. Highway to Hell is a great Album but it is them at their most polished. Mutt Lange was purposely brought in to produce that album to make them more radio friendly for the ears of sensitive American record executives. Powerage and Let there be Rock are much better examples of Bon Scott era AC/DC at their rawest

Angus Young provided interview recently where proved that there was no any participation of Bon Scott on Back in Black. He only supported with two small demos (small part of songs --- songs introduction )
The comparisons Bon - Brian I find meanwhile very tiring. Of course, the first albums with Bon were style-forming and outstanding. But forever unanswered is the question whether the band could have continued this power and expressiveness over the decades in this line-up. Many albums I find dead boring; this is certainly not necessarily due to Brian and could have been the same with Bon.
They're a tribute band from the spring of 1980, they were never the same, it's amazing they adapted but the Young's are obviously a good business family.

I like both but there is denying that Brian Johnson has one of the most unique voices ever. He's a human electric guitar which fits AC/DC perfectly.
