I’m wondering if you possibly had a bad one? I currently own a handful of Kastking reels including the Megajaws. My Megajaws is one of the smoothest reels I own. I’ve been throwing baitcasters for about 25 years! I’m sorry you had such a bad experience! I’m guessing time will tell with mine!
@@yaknlife6894 I have several as well, this was the only one that I disliked. Sorry, kastking is great... That's their only product of theirs I've been disappointed in.

Kastking Fluorokote is actually Copolymer line, nothing wrong with it, I love copoly line. Also, Kastking rods are great, how are you liking your reel?
It kooks like a great spooler except, they need to add a smaller hole. My ultra light rods are to big for ultra light rods, the small hole is to big.
I recently used it on an ultralight rod. I didn’t have any issues. Unfortunately, there could be some that it won’t work with
Mega Jaws was the worst reel I've ever used! I gave it away. been using bait casters for 40 years.... never had as much trouble with a reel.
