🤔Have you considered waxing and buffering. It would greatly increase the affect imo. Obviously there would be more work involved. Obviously you would increase the price to compensate for this. 😇😉
We use a very similar system here in Scotland. The materials are made by Craig & Rose. Would like to have seen you mention the importance of the angle of the trowel during application. We vary from 15 to 30 degrees depending. Good video all the same, thanks.
Great work just admire the finish. I am from Trinidad located in the southern Caribbean I am interested in purchasing this product. How can you help me.
If you're left handed like me, start on the right side of the wall and go left. Reason is you always pull back in towards what you just put on so it has a smooth transition. I hope that will make sense.
Looks great, do you have carpel tunnel..LOL..Is this also known as a skip trowel? Also have you done liquid metal work? Do you think I could use that metallic over a raised stencil? d you sell that metallic? Sorry so many questions,im trying to get all supplies for a project i want to do
It’s not dumb. It means when applying it to not make it thick to just do full coverage and not leave too much. I hope that helped and thanks for watching.
I do not in this. It takes away from the design of it when mixing water in it. It turns out, for me, like a wax once water is mixed in with it. This design is straight dune.
Took classes to start off but I learned this ones by playing with material. It’s just about practicing and getting to know your material. Thanks for watching.
You did a silver pearl finish in a video 11 months ago. What color was that and what type of wax did you use. Finish came out perfect 👍 Great video Thank you
Hey mate. Loving the work you do. I'm a plasterer living in NZ. How much material are you using for a job that size? Primer,Marmorino, dune..? Done a venetian plastering course last week but still trying to figure put coverage with materials. Cheers bud ☘️
Definitely can. If you haven’t seen the video for the range hood I did, here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/XShPqSxp_5U/v-deo.html It’s the same process but instead of the soap stone sealer, you use the dune metallic.
Looks amazing man, does that have the same gloss/shine as when you use wax and a buffer to polish? Or is this a different sort of look. Solid plaster from Australia cheers
Thank you man! It is a metallic finish so it has silver charges in it to make it shiny. It’s a little different from the glossy look that you do with wax and buffing but it is shiny. Subscribe to our channel to see more. Cheers!
That looks fucking unreal my friend , I know it’s personal question but how much could someone expect to pay to have that done ? Materials and labour? Really I’m totally blown away by the finish !!!!👌🏽
Or buy a paper decoration ready with design u want and stick it, less effort and faster… no need for a week or working between wait in drying then 5 steps to reach the same results
Good idea for those on a budget, but thats the same as buying a knock off brand of anything. It's cheaper, and the quality will reflect that too. I'm sure the real thing has all round much better qualities to it.
Great work just admire the finish. I am from Trinidad located in the southern Caribbean I am interested in purchasing this product. How can you help me.

@@finaltouchdrywall 💯💯👍
Hello how much is the cost for square feet?
Hello Dude, Q, why did you have to mud the wall before the primer if you already sanded it ??
It didn’t sand all the way down because it was semi gloss paint in it. I sanded it to ruff it up and knock off the big areas.
Tu es trop fort
I hate the final color but the texture is great, it would be great to see it in a white or off white color or possibly a light color
Does the finish need to be level 5 for this?
Would love some feedback on this accent wall. Leave us a comment.
Lovely job, no polished buffed wax coat over the top.?
It looks fantastic .what a feature 👍
Can you provide me with a place online to buy these products I don't need the primer but the dune metallic silver and the base coat. Great video btw.
Decora company, Dan is the man, he will get ya going. Located in Wisconsin.
Hey guys, I noticed your hashtag is spelled wrong and I don't want you to miss out on people finding your video. It says #venatianplaster
Thank you!
Why texture and not just paint ?
what primer did you used after the skim cote,
How much for square feet in Florida bro?
15$ a sq ft depending on how much
Hey this may be a dumb question but what do you mean when you say "pull it tight"?
It’s not dumb. It means when applying it to not make it thick to just do full coverage and not leave too much. I hope that helped and thanks for watching.
hey, have you mixed dune paint with water before applying ?
I do not in this. It takes away from the design of it when mixing water in it. It turns out, for me, like a wax once water is mixed in with it. This design is straight dune.
How did you learn how to do that ?
Took classes to start off but I learned this ones by playing with material. It’s just about practicing and getting to know your material. Thanks for watching.
what was used as a primer coat ?
Quartz primer. It’s called Firenze primer.
What primer do you use
Firenze primer I use. It a quartz primer and has sand in it. You can also use latex primer. Pro block from sherwin williams.

I believe it’s about 10-16 sq ft per kilo with 2 coats. If that helps
Wanted to do this with a range hood cover. Thoughts?
Definitely can. If you haven’t seen the video for the range hood I did, here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/XShPqSxp_5U/v-deo.html

!!! I’m starting to do decorative finishes myself. I’m in a wealthier college town. What do you recommend should start with in terms of pricing?
"Tinted to SW" is that a Sherwin Williams color and if so..is there a color code for base tint? Thx.
The base is Sherwin Williams 7072
That looks fucking unreal my friend , I know it’s personal question but how much could someone expect to pay to have that done ? Materials and labour? Really I’m totally blown away by the finish !!!!👌🏽
Thank you my friend. It depends but that wall was about 2300$. The prep that goes into it with the material.
