i will never forget my literal near death experience on the colossal curl. nothing happened to the ride itself but when i was spinning around on the tube my back hit a puddle of wall that splashed all over my head and i inhaled a lot of it because i wasn’t expecting it and i was choking for a good minute that i nearly passed out. it was good though but i was seeing stars
Wow Adventure island changed a lot since I’ve last been there. I remember only riding the runaway rapids slides and all of the people that worked there remembered me good days
I love this park because I've lived 5 minutes from it my whole life and it seems like a back yard to me😄

if you go to the wave pool, they have a deep end of the water. other than that, nothing else is deep.

My dad actually got hurt on the everglides once it was going down and it went upside down with him on it and it scarped his elbow on the rough bottom of the pool

adventure island is my favorite water park i live right by it i have pases and go all the time it doesnt feel like a water park it has a island resort feel its amazing

I used to go there all the time whenever I visited my Nana and Papa, until 2013. After that, they moved to another part of Florida. The ride I really enjoyed was the runaway rapids.
It’s sad bc Everglides used to be my fav... BUT SERIOUSLY THE WATER PARK IS NO PLACE FOR A BEACH!!!!!

The carribean corkscrew was terrifying to me, the claustrophobic atmosphere, the speed, the darkness, and the drops just mad it unsettling as heck
I don’t like it either cuz when i do it the way the slide is made it rubs against my back and gives me red marks.

I think right now they are remodeling wahoo run because they said that it’s closed until summer this year

I remember going on colossal curl with my best friends family and then fighting over who got to be like on the top and who got to be on the bottom (I did NOT want to be on the bottom), and the guy working the line had just looked at me, turned the donut around, and made it to where I was on the bottom and with no mercy, pushed us. it was the best colossal curl experience ever

I've been looking for things to do in the Tampa area for when I go to visit my sister in June. My family has gone to visit her twice before and all we do is go to the beach and whatever nearby shopping district happens to be there for 1 day out of the week we're usually there. Every other day is just spent at her house or maybe out eating.
Im prolly late but there is universal, sea world, Disney, Busch gardens, and much more.(disney and universal have several different parks in one.
Great video mate I keep watching this video and I keep getting more excited cause I'm going this summer

I wish I lived in Florida. All we have here in Sydney is jamberoo and raging waters compared to Disneyland, universal studios and adventure island.
Adventure islands and Busch gardens are in Tampa and Orlando you have Disney, universal, sea world, legoland, and I think there is one more but I forgot what it was
Man, I used to ride Key West Rapids all the time. It’s been replaced by Solar Vortex, which was added in this year. I do enjoy Solar Vortex myself but it’s definitely gonna take some time not seeing Key West Rapids.

0:04 that water slide is EVIL. me and my brother couldn’t see the slides tunnel so we kinda just picked one and enjoyed the ride. I felt safer in the middle and we fought over it... little did I know the tunnels were NOT the same. The middle one has a STEEP drop and the others not so much. 😭😭😂✋

You can buy a year pass and when you do that for only adventure island then you have to go only when the park is open in season . If you get an all year pass for Busch gardens the employee usually asks you if you would also like a adventure island year pass . Im pretty sure that's how it works , if not I'm sorry 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Only get to go for that one year , if you want to go say , 2018 then you have to buy a pass , for 2018

They close slides when weather is bad. If they detect lightning within a 3 mile radius, they shut down all the rides. If it rains, the rides remain open.

Those platform drop rides scare me- I can’t ride them-
The drop isn’t the scary thing for me. It’s the wait inside of the tube. Once you get over that fear it is so fun!
My fear of the drop slides are not the slides itself, it's the stairs that are terrifying
