In diesem Video nehmen wir euch mit ins berühmte Bø Sommarland in Norwegen. Der Outdoor-Wasserpark ist mit einer Vielzahl von richtig guten Rutschen ausgestattet, unter anderem mit Europas höchstem Master Blaster und einer Cone Slide. Der Park liegt in Bø i Telemark, etwa 150 Kilometer westlich von Oslo.

In this video, we show you around the famous Bø Sommarland in Norway. This GIANT outdoor water park features a lot of cool rides, including the highest water coaster in Europe and a Cone Slide. The park is located in Bø i Telemark, about 90 miles west of Oslo.

When I was there 2 yrs ago my favourite was the halfpipe one. The jettegryta for 1 person(without floaty) hurt my legs so bad. All in all a great waterpark :D

Description of the slides in this park:
Sjøormen Sjur: An classic enclosed inner-tube slide.
Supersurfen: An 4-lane rubber racing slide.
Splash: 2 Aqua-Skoot bobsled slides. Unlike other installations, this one ends on land.
Magasuget: An near-vertical free-fall body slide.
Mot i Brøstet: An Master Blaster water coaster made by NGBS International. It also features an open & enclosed section after the blaster sections.
Sentrifuga: An classic Space Bowl slide. Probably a ProBOWL 30 by Proslide.
Sikk-Sakk: 2 classic body slides. Just like it's name, both slides feature zig-zags.
Hompettiten: A small uphill speed slide.
Trippeltrakta: A cone slide made by Klarer, also combining the Magic Tube slide. It features 3 cones as well as daylight rings.
Jettegryta: An "super crater" bowl slide for inner tubes. Made by Van Egdom.
Vassføyka: An 4-lane Whizzard mat racer slide made by WhiteWater West.
Mini Surfern: A small version of the Supersurfen slide.
Halfpipe: a Tsunami half-pipe slide made by Polin Waterparks. It also features an enclosed section with natural daylight rings after the halfpipe.
Kids Slides: The kids slides of the park consists of 3 mini body slides and a small version of the Wild River slide.
SLIDE NOT FEATURED IN THE VIDEO:
Tryll: A new body slide made by Klarer, with features 3 "Fake Slide" elements, as well as an Infinity Jump at the end.

I'm pleased by the music, nothing more though. These water slides look alright, but I prefer the ones at Valleyfair ( and the roller coasters as well) in Shakopee, MN.
... Not every waterpark is identical y'know. Also comparing this Norwegian park to something as far away as Valleyfair in Missouri is a bit unfair don't you think? I mean this is one of the largest if not the largest in Scandinavia.

Can you guys visit Hungary? There are great waterslideparks with fastly around 10 slides. The entrance price is very cheap as well. Some examples: Aquacity Zalaegerszeg

I went in 1987! The only bit that existed then was the central area (around the Magasuget). It was the tallest slide in Europe then - not even in top 10 now 😥
I went there today and i will never forget It!!! Mom and dad Said Were going every summer💗😊 that’s good!😁 Now it’s soo much more omg!! So many new slides and stuff i loved it

How does an open-air water park make a profit in rural Norway? Most people have to drive a long distance to get there. The climate means that there are few days on which it is warm enough to want to be in water outdoors.
Andrew Smith Actually I asked myself the same question,but maybe it's so unusual that a lot of people come there because it's something new xD
Yeah and honestly I think that when it gets hot enough to go there then EVERYONE will go there. Personally I live in Denmark which is a bit south of Norway and that's the case down here.

Uhh...were they the only ones there??
Like they said in the top comment, The park was closed for the public due to an incoming storm but they were allowed to stay since they needed to make the recordings. (Note not everyone can do this. The crew at Tuberides.de were allowed since they gather and preserve info about water parks)

Byw I mist admit itooked kinda lame to me af first but those were great and many slides!
The outside air temperature was just 9.5 degrees (heavy rain), that's why there were only 70 other guests on the day we went.
