Darko Ristanovic You have to realize that in cat language, a slow approach like that is basically overwhelming emotion. Indifferent would be the cat staying on the other side of the room and refusing to look at her.
You were so excited to have her back it was heartwarming to see! And wow your pets' love for her is incredible. I mean, it's usual to see a dog like Penny get very excited to have on of her humans back, but what really amazed me was your cats' reactions! Of course, they are way subtler than dogs in their approaches but you could really feel their love and happiness to have her back. If they didn't care as much they wouldn't have come at all, or if they were simply hungry as I've read in the comments they would have come to you instead or wouldn't have reacted this way towards her :)
Yes please don't jump up on an elevator and get yourself stuck like last time! If no one knows what I mean dont worry about it ;D...this was a very long time ago pre-Alaska.
Happy to see your loved one is home Cory! I remember how it felt after being out to sea on board our carrier for months on end, pulling into port, and seeing my beautiful wife waiting on the dock for me. It's a whole host of emotions for the first few days after. BTW, we refer to the big mosquito's as "Bombers" and then comes the real trouble, the "Fighters"! LOL Anyway, glad to see you really smiling again man! Palmer Doug
So good to see you back home again Kristen - I've missed you too!! Also lovely to see the pets so happy to have you back (as well as Cory - but that goes without saying!) :)
Penny's tail was moving so fast you could've attached a generator to it and you'd be set for life as far as electricity goes. In fact you could've done the same to Cory he was vibrating with so much excitement.
So glad you got your Kristen back for a bit, Cory! And Penny is so happy and adorable, as usual. I hope she's on good heartworm prevention to protect her from those ginormous mosquitoes! They remind me of the bees I saw in Alabama...HUGE!
Penny totally looks like my grandma's dog who passed away in 2004. Her name was denise or short nisi (pronounced like nee-see) and I grew up with her. Every time I look at penny in the videos I'm like "OMG she's alive!". I miss her really much allthough it's been more than 10 years now I still remember our times together like it was yesterday. I've never seen a dog that looks like her except for penny. And the only difference in their looks is that penny has like half-standing ears and nisi had those really flat wiener dog ears. Penny looks so happy that Kristen is back and so do you :) Greetings from Germany to you cory
The image at 5:35 is just adorable. I love seeing how much you guys love animals. It just warms my heart. Also, Alaskan mosquitoes come in two sizes: twin engine and quad, all of pure mean.
Welcome home, Kristen! Cory I am glad you are going back to your "normal" mad man form. LOL! I look forward to the next blog. My favorite part about this blog, other then seeing Cory smile and happy again, is seeing all the pets around Kirsten. Everyone was happy she is home.
Awwwh she is back ! Tell us about your wedding plans . Can you do more vlogs on living in Alaska. Im not into the fishing. But just daily Alaska life styles . And what is the stores and cities like . What do people do there . What kinda work is there ? Nieghborhoods? School events ?farming ? Anything ?
When Kristen returns to Korea you should send a camera and selfie stick with her and directions for her to be a roving vlog reporter. She can do a 5 minute segment every day on korean daily life subjects like coffee shops, commuting to work, where to find Peanuts Choco Balls.
Sweet seeing how happy the pets were to see your Beloved! I'm sure you have Penny on a good heartworm regimen already, those skeeters can make a dog really sick!
Mosquito was HUGE because those sleep at the winter so they has to be big and strong to survive that winter.. Later on they are a bit smaller. But because weather is so rough in northern areas mosquitos are kind of mutants!
The big ones hibernated since last summer, new ones hatch soon and they're the fast ones that bite and are harder to swat. Hopefully since its drier, low humidity, fewer mosquitoes will hatch. Just wait until there's some in the bedroom at night when you're trying to sleep.
a hundred or so years back the -ed on the end of words was pronounced separately like "ED". Kristen nailed it! And also....what sounded familiar about 'beloved' you should be hearing soon: "Dearly Beloved. We are gathered here to join this woman and this man in holy matrimony" hehehehe
i really broke out in tears on 4:39. i never had a girlfriend and seeing that i just broke out into tears, at least i can be happy for someone else. Thank you Cory for everything you bring. And thank you Kristen for making his life complete. because of this i still believe that one day i'll find someone and be happy. and i will be happy ... one day.
Wait, you expected the trees to be full by now? haha. Not quite, Cory. Leaves don't just happen. :P Granted it's been a super weird winter weather-wise, so I guess that's not a strange expectation. But still, you'll get used to the pattern after winter in a few years. I'm gonna assume to look forward to mid May. :)
Spring has been taking awhile in most places guys,.Here at Sault,Ont. its just starting to get warm daytime, nights r cold,. Other side of Sault, Mich. The snow just stopped last wk,..Terrible,..Enjoyed ur video,.
If you plan on spending any amount to time out side get a thermacell. I use one when I hunt in the swamps in eastern NC and its beyond amazing. I've never been bothered by mosquitoes or black flies when it's on.
So glad you enjoy it in Alaska! I love your videos Cory, You're whats keeping my inspiration alive to move, 41 more days till I move from the central valley in cali to Palmer/Wasilla! Keep up the good work!
I understand the feeling of being so lonely when you are used to someone always being there. Sad thing for me was that she left permanently :/ but God allows things to happen for a reason. Great blog Cori!
OMG CORY!!! You big fucking goofball!!! Your Igor-like goodbye made me laugh so loud that my cat, Lola, jumped off my leg about 2 feet in the air and I woke up my grandpa, who I take care of. Being midnight here in Oklahoma, it took me a good 10 minutes to stop really laughing hard and now 30 minutes later, I'm still giggling. I am very happy that Kristen made it back home safe and sound. She must have tickled your funny bone!!!
hi Cory & Kristin, I am hoping you're having a great day; watching your video youtubes flicks makes me happier good to see you having fun. The love you have is rare, love her with all your heart for life is short and love is the best thing that you have sweet goodness joy in abundance All the best, Dave thanks for sharing your life and experiences with us
Make sure you invest in an electric mosquito swatter. It looks like a small tennis racquet and it's battery powered. You push the power button while you swat the mosquito. ZAP! Hours of entertainment! You'll need it once they start entering the house.
When I first lived in Seoul decades ago I could not easily get American-style smooth or crunchy peanut butter. The Korean version was called "Peanuts Jam" and seemed to include roasted (and perhaps burnt) skins. Very thick and gummy too.
yay! so glad for you cory! I know that great feeling too well, being apart sucks but being reunited is the BEST!! ugh! wife of an airmen right here. :)
Cory - I think you are referring to the start of a traditional wedding ceremony. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God..." So happy to see you so happy Cory!
I think that brown layer from the peanuts choco balls is the same coating as what they put on japanese peanuts, "Japanese peanuts are essentially peanuts encased in a hard and crunchy slightly sweet wheat flour shell and a hint of soy sauce"
Yeah, living here for about 13 years, I know for a fact that mosquitoes in the spring are kind of drunk as they buzz around, but don't bite. It has happened a couple of times where a mosquito would hit my arm, but then would buzz away like it hit a wall. XD
Being alone was good for you, Corey. Character building, or some such malarkey. I go months and months without seeing anyone except the mail dude or the UPS guy. Fifteen months is my record. People are overrated, honestly. But welcome home, Kristen!
***** Whats not true? That I've gone 15 months without human contact except for mail delivery, or that people are overrated? If you mean the former, I assure you it is quite true and it was quite possibly the calmest year-plus of my life. If you mean the latter statement....eh, to each their own. Bah humbug.
***** What I have or have not experienced is frankly none of your damn business. But yes, I have experienced both. I simply no longer have a use for either. At this time in my reality, I am utterly solo and utterly content to remain so.
Michael D Thank you...I guess. If you meant me, I mean. If you didn't mean me, well then...carry on, LOL. A hug is always appreciated, even a digital one. Don't get many hugs lately (My UPS dude is not known for spontaneously hugging people). So thank you. I've got some coffee on, would you like a cuppa?
Awww, I have to wait another week for my girlfriend to come to me for a week (she's studying abroad for 6 months.. SIX MONTHS!). Have a nice week you two ^^
as I look back in my life the most beautiful smiles I remember as a man, husband or father were wrapped from head to toe in terrycloth. we called the BIG skeeters "cowcatchers".
Great video, great seeing her back again, but what the hell was that at the end? you just went from Dark Sorcerer Cory to Cory Cory to Terminator Cory, it was awesome.
Cory and Kristen= RELATIONSHIP GOALS
The Kristen/Penny reunion was SO cute!
And then the cats are like "Who are you again?" haha
Dog is like. "HEY HEY YOU'RE HOME! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!" And cats are like.... "Oh you are home.. feed me."
Literally my life
When she said "Are you indifferent?" I literally said out loud..."It's a cat". Lol
Darko Ristanovic You have to realize that in cat language, a slow approach like that is basically overwhelming emotion. Indifferent would be the cat staying on the other side of the room and refusing to look at her.
My cats greet me with big meows and snuggles when i get home.
Darko Ristanovic odakle si, ja iz Hrvatske i baš mi je čudno vidjeti nekog "domaćeg" ovdje! pozz

Your happiness is contagious!! We are just as happy to see her home!

Being able to see your love in person is so much better than Skype, glad she's back for a while :-) much love from Florida
Omg, I accidentally turned on the subtitles and... well just turn them on and go to 9:54
It's really bad >_
Rascal2237 Ahhhahah! Pause right at that moment and she has her hands apart like showing how big it was, lol!
Rascal2237 XD
Rascal2237 also at 6:34
loopy toopy Oh my ._.
loopy toopy ._. oh why
Nice to see you Kristen! I call my love "Beloved" as well.
KRISTEN!!! I HAVE MISSED YOU!!! *sends you a hug from California*
This made me cry tears of happiness for you both!
Helpful tip, Mosquitos that buzz are harmless. The ones that don't buzz are the problem.
Jason Fisk yeah not sure where you got that info from ...
Maybe so but the ones that buzz sure can mess up a good nights sleep.
Jason Fisk That makes me nervous.
Silent but deadly? Damn ninja mosquitoes! Or was that the fart?
If they're in your house, they're probably female and will bite you- males are herbivores so they wouldn't bother coming into the house!
I know that feeling so well. My fiance and I live on different continents but nothing beats that feeling when I get to go home.
Love love this video, you got me with the dog. I love see how happy looks. You are blessed when you got dog love. You hubby rocks too awesome.
Thank God she's home. We missed her so much!!!
Cory, regarding Spring. I have been told by some of my cow-orkers there are two seasons in Alaska - Winter and Construction. ;)
Who else immediately thought "Aqua Dots" when Kristen brought out the bag of candy?
BWpixel Nice, I wasn't the only one.
BWpixel I thought the same thing.
Meeeeee!!!
Alaska seriously looks like paradise! I hope to experience it someday. You guys are awesome :)

That what I said. They sleep at the winter. Did I say something wrong then?
Oops just adding on to what you said
Sharon
Ah.. Okay.
i cant believe how happy i was to see this in my subscriptions!!!!!
Dude I am so happy for you...even if you only have her back for a week..Have a nice weekend...
3 weeks? Try 3 years, Cory! And without going out for anything but groceries about every 2 weeks. You'd really go bonkers! Welcome home, Kristen!
Mr. Ford sent me and I will play your videos on a loop in the background whenever my PC is on. Congrats on the daughter man.
I talk to my cats... makes me seem a bit less crazy... right?
Welcome home Kristen, we missed you too. :)

Welcome home Kristen. hugss
You met the Alaskan state bird I see! You need to get some of the little bear traps that say "Alaskan mosquito trap" lol.
hi Cory & Kristin,

Dear Bejeweled, I misted you.
Welcome back Kristen

Cory - I think you are referring to the start of a traditional wedding ceremony. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God..." So happy to see you so happy Cory!
It is like Snow White has returned 😁
Those Peanuts Choco Ball made me think of Aqua Dots. You know, from the video "Say 'No' To Aqua Dots".
ok, you have to do a spring beer train run now. that was fun to watch
Great a nice video before I go to sleep. Oh only 20 seconds left. AH WHAT HAPPENED!
I love your vlogs man, watch them the moment they go up !! Haha
You made me smile in the first 6 seconds.
I think I need some help, when I saw "She's finally home" I became exited and stupidly happy.
I think that brown layer from the peanuts choco balls is the same coating as what they put on japanese peanuts, "Japanese peanuts are essentially peanuts encased in a hard and crunchy slightly sweet wheat flour shell and a hint of soy sauce"
Awww the twelve paw welcoming committee :)
Moquitos... the bane of every Alaskan existence!
I'm familiar with that home you bought in Eagle River. I did a walk through with a realtor when it was on the Market.
4:15 you two look like portals. Dont let a portal get sucked into another portal! who knows what could happen.
Yeah, living here for about 13 years, I know for a fact that mosquitoes in the spring are kind of drunk as they buzz around, but don't bite. It has happened a couple of times where a mosquito would hit my arm, but then would buzz away like it hit a wall. XD
