@@kurosawa1x59black and gold was great. And then its time passed. I don't think nxt today had better talent than black and gold - those were veterans getting used to a new territory. But nxt today is A LOT more fun, with a focus on story and characters that even the main roster fails to match sometimes.
We are comparing different things (which is ok) and I don't expect current nxt to out-takeover takeovers - and vice versa. But that doesn't mean nxt couldn't put on a better show today. It's certainly, certainly possible. Hell it could happen literally today lol

As for Adam Cole not having the top title yet, you are aware that he's recovering from an injury right? The only issue I have with AEW right now is how they resolve storylines. Like for example Swerve vs Hangman. He had already defeated Hangman once. He didn't need a second one plus trespassing on someone else's property should not result in the trespasser winning in the end. Fortunately it wasn't the end and Hangman kept the feud going and that was smart so they're continuing to feud actually puts them at the same level and it will get to a point where it doesn't matter who ends up winning at least when Swerve wins the title. Another example of bad storytelling, Zak vs Angelo. You give Angelo a gf and then take her away with Angelo taking a loss to a nobody who's the bully in that feud? Here's a rule you have to follow and I will not listen to any excuses. Never have the bully win in a romance storyline. It is not relatable and it damages the storyline.
@@johnnybravado7141 I agree but sometimes the bad people do win! Plus its keeps it interesting! If the Good guy always gets the girl then it boring! TK just needs to set down and figure out his storylines better or let someone that does help him do it cause TK does put decent matches but there no ark to there story! Sometimes it’s cool just to throw a match with no build together but then as the match progresses they can start building to it making it into some sort of storyline rivalry or something! Really he needs to sit his talents all down and tell them all this is what I want to do this is how you and you are gonna get there then they can build from there!
Shawn having the school in the 90s and early 2000s and producing greats like Daniel Bryan. Now being put in position by Triple H to develop all the next greats. Wrestling will get even greater for the next two decades. 💯💎💎
NXT has truly churned out many great talents! Regardless if they independent wrestlers or NIL recruits NXT will secure the Future of WWE for many years to come!

@@heartattack3579regal is great. But nxt is developmental in a lot of aspects. Maybe Simone wouldn't have that chance otherwise, but she's just another character on the show who's trying to get better. Ava certainly has a lot to learn and a lot to improve, but I don't think she drags down the show in this role. And that's good enough for now. The rock was terrible in the beginning too lol.
