I never thought I would owe the guy who starred in, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (Freddie Prince Jr.) a thank you for helping my Superman as a young teen win the title of "World Champion"... Thank you, Freddie from every Jeff Hardy fan.
He did a good job for doing that and once u show vince mcmahon the merchandise sales of a particular superstar, vince will give that superstar the title
"If they see me react they will take it away because they're psychos like that" - Freddie prince Jr That's some next level psychological warfare Mental Jiu-Jitsu
Thank you, Freddie. This was big for Jeff, but will always remain a huge inspiration for all of us who were kids at the time and wanted our hero to win. Jeff standing on that platform with the rightly-earned title is one of the biggest inspirational scenes of my life. So glad this happened.
True but he is a wrestling fan so that is why WWE let him go he also revealed why WWE hates tag team, and confirmed the Bray thing that Vince went cold on him because Bray wanted to have more control
I remember being in High School in 2009 and hoping that I could convince my mom to order the PPV of WWE Armageddon 2009 because I really wanted to watch the Triple Threat match between Edge vs Triple H vs Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship. the fact that I couldn't was heart breaking, but finding out the next day in school was probably the highlight of my day when a friend showed me a newspaper clipping of the results of the show cause I also couldn't wait to watch that week's episode of Smackdown! So I humbly appreciate FPJ for that storyline! 😄
This was an AMAZING interview, I've always loved Freddie Prince Jr. This interview was insane, loved his energy personality, love the fact that he knows he's blessed but he tells stories like all his life everything has always been awesome. Everyday 100% on everything. You mean to say you've never had a bad day?! Even when someone else was an a hole?! No everyone has been awesome all the time?! Anyways love him, a natural story teller, Turely gifted !!! And cldnt happen to a better guy. More power to you bro. Pray for all the happiness in the world for you and your and your family.
Jeff Hardy is one of the most over talents of all time. Plain and simple. Even when he just left, he was getting some if the biggest pops despite how shitty his booking was. Something about him fans just gravitate too
The man was beating John Cena in sales merch, the face of the company of the new millennium. That tells it all. If he had consistency his status would be consensual
You don't understand Jeff hardy had us in a chokehold during 2008 because every championship match we sitting on the edge of our seat waiting for him to win the wwe championship but he was always one second away. Armageddon 2008 was a great way to end his 2008 wwe championship chase all the way from royal rumble of that year to the end.
I personally have never been a fan of the idea of tv writers in wrestling but i think having it be a more collaborative talking points approach instead of handing someone a script and telling them to memorize it is a much better way to go about it.
I didn't know fpj was behind all that man that whole Jeff hardy championship storyline was amazing even if it didn't last as long as it should of genuis
What’s awesome is when he’s saying some stuff about Jeff I could almost hear it coming straight from Jeff’s mouth, goes to show how much he knows Jeff and how much of what he’s wrote has bled onto the screen as the Jeff we know
As a 10 year old watching Jeff Hardy finally winning the WWE Championship meant a lot especially in my generation no matter the downfall you can still get back up and win it all. I gotta thank Freddie Price Jr. for writing that story for Jeff even with the trouble situations he’s on the news he made if memorable and still remembering it to this day.
I remember being so relieved and happy when Jeff won because we wanted it so badly and he had lost all his other chances,he was the TRUE underdog. Before Daniel Bryan we had Jeff Hardy.
"Jeff Hardy has realized a dream of a lifetime! ... From daredevil to champion, enigma to icon." Never did I think that Freddie Prinze Jr. had a pivotal role for such a big moment in one of the most popular talents to be seen in a WWE ring.
Wow so it was cause of this guy that Jeff won the belt. I knew it from the start that none of the creative team wants Jeff as a Champion. It’s ridiculous! That also explains his very short reign. Jeff should never had come back. He deserves better. Still, Kudos to Freddie for helping him out.
Dude, Freddie made a bajillion Jeff Hardy fans' dreams come true, myself included. Sure, Jeff kinda did himself in. But , we had our moment. Jeff , horrible mic skills and all, got to flip the bird to everyone. Prime Jeff Hardy was one of the toughest, most beautiful workers in wrestling. You could never call him ' the best wrestler', because he was so outside of the box that he was his own category. And that's not harping on him. RVD was very similar in that we'd never seen anything like it. Purists hated them, underdogs LOVED them. I still root for Jeff as a person, and wish I could slap him around to knock some sense into him. We coulda had so much more. Hell, we still might. But the clock is ticking, and if he never figures that out, we can still say we got to see our hero as Champion of the World. If Jeff or anyone he knows ever sees this: I'd rather see Jeff in a Hall of Fame Speech than a fk'n Dark Side of the Ring episode. That is not hyperbole, and please don't dismiss it as such. Thank you Jeff, and thank you Freddie.
This guy I don’t know about help facility teo of my best child hood memory’s. The Brian Kendrick and Jeff Hardy. Never knew o was such a bog fan of this guy until now
That explains so much in today's wwe climate. To much cancer in wwe NTX And main roster taking hits like no tomorrow smh But those people that were against Freddy probably still work there
Thank you so much Freddie for creating millions of childhoods for that! Jeff is my 2nd favorite of all time (after John Cena)! And I know, you can’t stand Cena, lol, but nonetheless thank you for giving Jeff Hardy the opportunity to win a WWE title.
it was HHH and Kevin Dunn who doesnt want jeff to be a champ but they have no choice, as unreliable jeff is in the past. Jeff was the top merch seller of the company at that time out selling and doubling cena and even HHH. So they gave him the belt and im happy for it.

@Versatile Wolf it’s called having a childhood
A scooby doo actor helped Jeff get a title hmm
@@OffDeGanja hmm
The biggest mystery he solved

He’s done a lot of things you don’t know about last summer as well … ALOT OF THINGS
Jeff was a bonafide star. We saw him job as a Teen to become a main eventer. His merch sales were topping Cena, HBK, Taker Etc. They got it right.
I never thought I would owe the guy who starred in, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (Freddie Prince Jr.) a thank you for helping my Superman as a young teen win the title of "World Champion"... Thank you, Freddie from every Jeff Hardy fan.

He kept it for like a month cuz his addiction
I HAD NO CLUE Freddie wrote for WWE!!!! Just shows how much talent he really has!!!
He is also a jedi!
Things I learned today: Freddie Prinze JR was a writer for WWE
Big respect to freddie for this man.
Thank you so much.
2008 was a HOT year for Jeff.
Thank you soo much Freddie...
And he is the host of wwe rivals
After seeing "She's all that" in the 90s, I never imagined I would see Freddie doing wrestling shoot videos in 2021
I had no idea Fred was working there. Awesome stuff.
He didn't work there long long sadly

That's some next level psychological warfare

Yea it literally impossible to work their long term cause it mentally exhausting especially from a writer point of view
I know! An entire man's life long dream depended upon a "non reaction". That's absolutely f***ed

My guess he’s just humble. The dude loves his fans and vice versa.
I think cause he was kinda just a guy like the rest of us. No insanely muscular body, not extremely attractive, no ego, just a badass daredevil
As a 9 year old, I was the the most stoked kid on Earth when Jeff won. It’s a memory that still sticks with me today, and I wasn’t even there!
@Versatile Wolf ?
Wrestling is a better place because of this decision. Thanks for giving Jeff and us this moment.
I wanna thank Freddie for this because that moment was a highlight of my childhood
He’s so passionate when even just talking about the gig. Anyone who’s this animated discussing their work was meant for it
