"The band and I are very excited to release our new covers EP "Cryin' To You". Self-produced in our home of Ojai, CA. It's our first independent release! We were approached to cover "Mother" by Danzig which led to a fun week in the studio that inspired us to lay down some other covers we had either been playing live already or had been wanting to do. I chose "Story of My Life" because it was a current hit whose lyrics I could identify with. I chose "Electric Eye" because a friend suggested I check it out after a conversation we'd had about the Internet and privacy. It was ahead of its time! We've been performing "Hold On, We're Going Home" live and I think it's a really beautiful song. "To Ramona" I'd covered as a solo artist and its message still speaks to me today. We'd jokingly called what we made "roller rink folk metal" but as silly as it sounds I think this work is indicative of what's to come. Raw and tough yet still tender and vulnerable. I really hope people enjoy it!"

Lemme put it like this... this cover is so damn good, when I first heard it I thought it was her own original song. I legit completely forgot Danzig performed this years prior and was in love with this version. This is hands down the best cover to ever cover a song lol

Soo what we went ahead and did, was have the Same Orginal idea, to sing it slow.. for too long,, this is my first go round with this group or artist.. i don't go for bands named after the singer... too much ego.. but I glad she likes the song.. peace humans..

@@ianmorton1799 im high so ima ramble lol but i wouldnt fully agree. Hes a great front man, but mediocre vocalist, and writer. Graves blows him outta the water on both skills, but was an awful front man. Unless you dig the axl rose type. Such a loose canon you cant even count on him showing up. Graves was an hour late to the show i saw, cos he was getting a tat, and showed up hammered drunk. He was only like 20 when they got him though, so some slack is warranted. They just never got the complete front man thing figured out. Someone who has the talent, AND isnt an asshole. However, would they have been as "successful" if they didnt have these guys with crazy attitudes? I dont think they wouldve, and i think they know it. They avoided just having jerry take over after danzig cos jerry is boring. Dude is nice as fuck. The only one who stayed to sign shit after the show i was at. Though it was his boys bday, who he had come out and play bass for two songs, so he couldve just been staying to give his kid that experience of signing shit. Ive lost the plot now lol my bad.
