Thanks CineMutt. I'm happy with it so far but I left it in the UK so it hasn't had much use yet. Hope to ship it out to Asia this year where it will be used a lot more - then I can post an updated review.

Glad you found it useful Mark. I haven't had a chance to play live with this yet but I'll post more when I have.

hi. How could I get this amp. And what's the price?

Hi Jayanta. Sorry for the VERY late reply but due to illness I haven't been able to play or make videos for about 8 months. I don't know where you can get this amp- it will depend which country you are in. In the UK right now it's around £460 but I was lucky and found a huge deal for less than £300. Just shop a round :-) Alternatives include the Bose S1 (a bit expensive) and the Laney A-Fresco. Both these can be battery powered.

Hi Gregory. To be honest I didn't get the chance to gig with this amp much. Unfortunately, illness has prevented me from playing (or making videos) for the last 8 months :-( The amp does, however, feel extremely solid and well built. Hope to get back to playing and making videos soon!

Good review ! Do you use any preamp with the ACUS amp? any pedal chain?

Thanks Frederic - hope the review was helpful. I don't use any "extras" with the ACUS. My Yamaha YEV-104 is passive, so no preamp built in, and I'm aiming to get as "pure" a sound as I can so I have no pedals (yet). I haven't used the ACUS much, to be honest, as it's been in the UK (where I am now) but I do most of my playing in Asia. I'll be going back there in a couple of months and will be taking the ACUS with me so I'll be able to do a follow up in a few months.

@@ChaStewFiddle which cables do you recommend for the best sound?

Hi again Frederic. I did buy some high quality (guaranteed for life!!) cables in Cambodia; PLANET WAVE is the brand. I must say that I rarely use them, just carry them around as back-up when I'm gigging just in case the G10 lets me down. But I would definitely say that cheap cables are a false economy. Buy the best you can afford.

    Doesn't have a headphone jack!

If you need a headphones output maybe try the Laney A-Fresco. It's portable too, can be battery powered.
