When the Scorpions started out as a garage band in 1965 in Hannover, Germany none of the members knew how to speak English but sang all their songs in English. They quickly became one of the best bands to come out of Germany.
I'm surprized you haven't checked out Winds of Change by them... Probably their biggest hit. It was the anthem of the end of the Berlin Wall in the 80s.

The epitome of the Power Ballad. Bands known as "hair bands," hard rock, or metal I suppose were encouraged to release slow songs now and then. Head-bangers want to slow dance with their partners, too.
This is on my favourite one of Scorpion, the beautiful lyrics and music, very soothing. Lead singer name is Klaus Meine, he's a german singer. 😎🎸👌

Klaus Meine can belt out a ballad like few others. He wrote the lyrics to this as well. Great Band. They have some hard rockin stuff as well. Check out 'The Zoo', 'No One Like You', 'Is There Anybody There?', 'Bad Boys Running Wild', 'Rock You Like a Hurricane' or 'Big City Nights'. Just to get you started as their are many more. Cheers.
"You Give Me All I Need", "When The Smoke Is Going Down", "Rhythm Of Love", "Tease Me Please Me", "The Zoo" are all great song from the Scorpions.

Great reaction!!! My favorite Scorpions song is "Still Loving You".....took 6 years to get that song on an album cause the producers didn't think it would sell!!! Little did they know it would be one of their all-time hits!!! Check it out...preferably a live version!!🎵🎼🎶🥁🎹🎤🎸🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘

Scorpions are one of my FAVORITE bands from this era! You GOTTA, PLEASE, check out "Is there anyone there" by them. Youll thank me. Its got a reggae vibe and all.

Hey Shon, the lead singer Klaus Meine has such a soulful set of vocals and has an incredible vocal range and the second set of vocals you spoke of is coming from the band members themselves, members such as Rudolf Schenker (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, percussion, tambourine), Mattias Jabs (lead and Rythm guitar), Pawel Maciwoda (bass, backing vocals), James Kotack (drums, backing vocals) Here's another song to give a listen if interested. Klaus is the lead singer and Rudolf is the lead guitar.

The Traveling Wilburys is definitely something you should check out. A supergroup made up of the individual legends: Roy Orbinson, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, and Jeff Lynne.

Headliners of Monsters of Rock in Nuremberg Germany in 1986. One of the best shows I ever saw. Almost 40 years ago....and you just getting tuned in. Awesome!
My first concert was the Scorpions back in 1984 in Los Angeles. They’re a great live band, with great head banger & ballad music. Basically ear candy for the masses.

Klaus Meine has the best voice, and has always been the lead vocal ! Schenker (there are two) was on the lead and rhythm guitars. Schenker used to be with the band UFO .

Their most known song might be "Wind of Change" ... The Scorpions are a german band and this song was released after the Berlin Wall was teared down and Germany (BRD/DDR) was reunited again after 28 years. Check out the video "Scorpions - Wind Of Change (Live At Hellfest, 20.06.2015)" ... Trust me: The tears of the crowd will get you - and beside of that: It's an amthem of hope, unity and peace! ♥ So grab some tissues for an epic performance! :)

The imagery in the video is The Painted Desert. It has a heavy Native American reference. Partnered with the lyrics it's about a wise man offering spiritual wisdom in the land of the morning star.( the sun) The whole thing is just beautiful
