    Hi Amy! Was so excited to see this video from you! Alex and I are planning our first big international trip ever since having Chase and now Lana. We'll be traveling with grandparents and my sister/husband to Taiwan and Japan so this video was super helpful :)

    Thank you for the video this is by far the best iv watched! would you say around summer time (June-July) is ok to bring kids in Japan?

    • @thisjalife
      @thisjalife  3 місяці тому

      It gets hooooooot but a lot of people this is the only time to go for extended time. Earlier in June my friends have had great experiences! I used to go every summer as a kid and it’s HOT 🥵

    I ve been to Japan twice with friends and husband, possibly next year we will go to Japan with our 7 year old. I m a bit worried about the walking, he's not a walker haha

    • @thisjalife
      @thisjalife  6 місяців тому

      The walking is hard but worst case you buy an umbrella stroller like we did 😆

    How's it traveling with strollers? Many stairs or accessible? Haven't been to Japan with kids and I never thought of this part until I had them 😅

    • @thisjalife
      @thisjalife  8 місяців тому +1

      I have so many thoughts on this, it might need to be a new video! The first year we had reasonable aged kids one of us thought we could without a stroller but we ended up buying a cheap umbrella stroller because there’s so much walking for little legs and we were carrying our younger one more than we wanted. It’s not the most stroller friendly at train stations but my husband was willing to just carry it up stairs instead of finding an elevator or the right escalator 😆

      Definitely check out this video if you haven’t already ua-cam.com/video/f9qj7BM4698/v-deo.html - spring is one of my favs but it could be uncertain if the rain has passed and is getting warmer or not!! The crowds can get more because of concentrated spring breaks also. If you get early cherry blossoms you’re in luck! Or go to where they are 💕 which parts are you planning for?

    • @thisjalife

      We usually do Narita or Haneda (preferable) both ways then just Shinkansen around. We did about a week each in Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka/kyoto
