Welp, I guess I'm now making my own Anla'Shok badge. This channel really costs me an unreasonable amount of time doing projects I didn't know I desperately wanted.
I'm 55yrs old and have 10 grandchildren. We spend our time together doing crafts and variety shows. #Nova I'm running out of ideas for some of us. Ages 2 most to 14yrs. Thank you for your ideas!
@@SkillTree with my first grandchild it was flashcards, she was reading in preschool, second one loved coloring and sewing. The eldest is now 14. Youngest is 2 months. I needed to upgrade for older ones and back to basics with younger ones, the back to basics everyone loves. We would all make up a paragraph of a story we build off of each other then we draw, color, craft and sew things we make up in the Story. Added in wood burning/making and glass works asking with alcohol ink and a bit of gardening including medicinal and vegetables and what is POISON. Try some wrist rocket targets (parents won't allow real guns). Air soft and archery next???
Seriously clever Cl3ver!!! I think I will try that project sometime. I am going to solder those metal to metal connections though, and maybe take the sand and grind it in a mortar even finer before mixing with epoxy. Hmmm…and maybe texturize the crossing metal with a vine pattern…you have my mind racing!
#NOVA It was the Ranger quiver that got me into all this. I haven't actually started a business yet, I have only been doing this a few months, but my family keeps wanting to sell my stuff, so it is probably just a matter of time.
This came out beautifully! I have always loved this brooch. Thank you for showing this cool sand and resin technique, i can think of so many cool pin ideas i wanna try.
#Nova I love how Clever pushes people to try new things. I clicked on one of his videos along time ago at this point and I'm always excited to see the craziness of his next video. keep up the great work
That's an impressive first go at this craft. A couple things not about the visuals which are pretty stunning. I wouldn't trust super glue for either the wire wrap or the clasp. Doubly so for the clasp. If you do it again, and intend to use an adhesive I'd recommend something with a stronger bond. Maybe a 2 part epoxy or something similar. Also, scuff up the metal before adhering to it.
I really think Maddie's Raven should be made into your War Mage's Familiar. She would make a great Sentient Biomechanical Automaton with laser pointers for eyes... Robotics would be a fun skill. Just make it flap its wings, twist it's head, point laser eyes, and play bird noises. Steam Punk mixed with actual feathers. I think they even have UV/Purple laser pointers...Should be simple, lol!
Looks amazing. That leather dye was genius. FYI. Green tin snips are for cutting right handed curves, red for left, and yellow are general purpose...usually
