I am new to your channel. Came across it while looking for a way to clean Viking horns from a faire. Since then I have been binge watching your videos. Day 4 and it just keeps getting better. I will definitely be trying these out for my husband and myself once I get more knowledge in working with leather. Keep up the awesome work! Well now to continue binge watching the rest of your vids while my horns soak in vodka to disinfect 😊
Awesome! So glad you are enjoying the content! I can't wait to go to this year's ren faire. I missed it so much last year. Good luck with your projects and thank you so much for watching!
Fun fact: the word " tinker", is a word used to describe an occupation of metal workers known as tinsmiths ( smiths who work with aluminum and tin). Since tinsmiths used to rove around from town to town doing odd manual labor jobs, the term " Tinkering" and " Tinkering about" became a colloquial saying. That said, this is a great idea for storing tools that are EDC and in need of quick deployment. The only 2 things I would caution about are: 1: Be careful about the use of strong magnets around sensitive electronic devices ( don't short circuit grandma's pacemaker during a hug)/ using it around cell phones. 2: probibly not storing sharp pointy tools on the inside of the forearm where all the veins and major arteries are. ( Trust me. Bad idea. I speak from self experience. Safty first.) Keep being awesome, producing amazing content, and inspiring greatness in people man. You're doing great!
@@themongoose3420 not even my arm lol. I have a habit of storing things in my sleeve, pencils and the like, when I am not using them. I had one in there with the point facing out and forgot it was there. I then ran my fingers through my hair and stabbed myself in the eye.... like an idiot 🤣
Yet another video of yours that doesn't nearly have the views it deserves! I love the utilitarian aspect of it! Things being useful and making one's life easier shouldn't be a bonus, but the main event, like with the waxed canvas belt-bag you made or the expanding backpack!
3 out of the last 4 projects I have done I have used it! Love it, though, next time I may make the leather bands go just a bit further into the leather. They have a tendancy to slip out every now and then.
I would make it a chestplate to keep my arms free. I can totaly see me snapping pens, calipers and screws to it. Especially my calipers. They don't fit in pockets and i leave them everywhere.
@@SkillTree There is no need to spoil the magnet itself. but it will be very useful to remove the parasitic magnetic field from the instruments. After all, it is not always good that pliers, a file or what else to acquire a beard from sawdust and debris. to get rid of the constant magnetic field, the most effective way is to build a demagnetizer. its essence lies in the ability to create an alternating magnetic field. in fact, it is just a copper coil plugged into an electrical network. in order not to wind it by hand, you can use a relay from a fluorescent lamp, a demagnetizing ring from an old TV with a picture tube and much more as a donor. I advise you to equip the device with a button without fixing, since the coil will heat up and burn out if you accidentally leave it on. to remove the magnetic field from the object, it should be placed in the center of the coil, turn on the device and slowly pull it out of the working device in spiral movements. then release the device button.
Great minds! I thought about calling it that but wanted to stay withing a D&D class in the event I decide to make an entire longterm project out of it lol. #nerdstuff
I would love to get ahold of some leather and make this I'm gonna have to check around some good wills or maybe I'll get lucky and I'll win your giveaway
So you wear your new bracers to the jobsite BUT you can't get out of the car because the bracer is stuck to the car door. Yup the magnets used are too strong...
I love this build! You should do some more artificer builds. Maybe something like artificer welder style goggles with swivel magnifying lenses
At this point Cl3ver has become an Artificer at this point minus the magical item....That we know of?

The speedy awl doesnt leave a running stitch, it creats a lockstitch (similar/same as a sewing machine). And with an alternate technique can make a chain stitch
But it is about as durable/reliable as a running stitch
Sooooo, many ideas coming from this idea......Thanks!
I wish I lived closer to people like you you're the kind of people that I would like to have on my life as friends
Can't wait to make one of these! I'd use the hell out of this at my actual job.

What a super fun and useful craft!!! I'm definitely inspired:)
I know you’re a fan of doing companion builds, and I’m working on producing a 3rd party nerf revolver, and I’d like you to do a holster for it.
I love it! I'll def be making me one. I'd love to see you make a work apron

Now it's logical to make demagnetizer 🙂👍 add it to the list 😉
This magnet is hysterically strong. Might not be a bad idea to take it down a peg or two lol.
