Thank you for your travelog of the Catskill forests of Ulster County. In the 40's and 50's I spent summers near Kingston. We often backpacked in the wilderness area nearer to you. Some of my fondest memories are of these woods. I am glad to see how much you and your friends enjoy and care for them.The roads you ride could have first been Mohican trails! Few people know just how deep in our history the area goes. There was a Dutch trading post near Kingston in 1614 and first settlement there in 1654.
normally you remove the spark plug before you try to start it in case the water made it to the pistons, but since the guy cranked it and it turned meant there was no water in them. so it was fix. fyi if there's water in the pistons and you crank it you can break stuff unless you remove the spark plug to able the water to get out when you crank it.
The bond you have between you and your dog and the love Cody has for you is just beautiful to see Andrew. Watching your videos and the enjoyment your dog has for your company makes your channel so worthwhile. All the best for the future Andrew, love from Scotland

Love the whole concept of a “woods car” what a riot! But if anything is a true woods car, that thing is. Glad to see a helmet too, btw. Two most satisfying mods were the wipers and great mud flaps. And the big boilers at the old brick factory were very cool. Steam powered, belt driven. That’s a very old place. Fantastic trails and scenery. Thanks for taking us along. I’ve never been so jealous of a dog.
My mom's brother had cows and got given to him was a old chop mil and he would mix barely and oats run through the mill powered by a big 8" wide belt Andrew's got a old farm all tractor if u look you see a gig wheel off the rhs that's how u powered the mill my until used a rim on the back Of his pickup and attach to one end give it a twist and wrap oround rim and walla you have a working mill from to 1890s the twist in the belt is what kept the belt from running off the big flat pulleys.

When I saw Levi I almost wept but then I remembered how much loved he was during his life and it brought smile to my face knowing he went happy. Remember to cherish the loved ones when they're still with us. Once they are gone, they're gone. Mourning is often an excuse for what you could have done but you didn't. Be honest, be upfront, respect each other.

Maybe I'm wrong here but I was told not to use the rollers on fabric cable. Because if it goes in the corners the risk of breaking increases. I was told to use the proper aluminum version for fabric. Great video keep em coming, im addicted to.your channel.for years

Great video Andrew, some of your best work yet. I didn't realize how beautiful upstate was. I'm from Northern California where we use to have some of the same kind of forests. California is now a dying state due to fires and bureaucracy.
That is just a taste of NY, Andrew isn't really in upstate though he is down along the lower Hudson. Much of the state looks like that, some even better.

Sold my house and bought a much bigger one in a state that actually has politicians who have your back. Not let crime run rampant, among many other good things. That state deserves everything it gets, they keep voting for the same thing and think the rest of the country is the problem. When in reality, the rest of the country is laughing at them.

@@tyler2850 well SF is it's own state in some ways, odd things happen there. Certain parts of CA are still amazing, I mean the prices aren't riDONKUlous for no reason. I would greatly prefer to have less red tape and beaurocracy though
@@getstuk87 yea I was born in San Diego and also lived multiple years in Santa Monica. Thank God I got out. Sold my house and bought a much bigger one in a state that actually has politicians who have your back. Not let crime run rampant, among many other good things.
That state deserves everything it gets, they keep voting for the same thing and think the rest of the country is the problem. When in reality, the rest of the country is laughing at them.
