Definitely proserpernica palustris ‘mermaid weed’ is up there as one of my favorite stems. I do love the shape of pogostemon helferi too. At the moment I’m enjoying Rotala ‘blood red’, ludwigia white & ludwigia tornado. Loving stems so just started my first Dutch style scape. 💚

For anybody who is planning to get alternanthera Mini, be sure nothing is over or covering the plant, or the leafs will turn green and will sometimes cause algae on the leafs.
i always find micranthemoides to be one of the easiest plants to grow, it can grow wonderfully even in a very neglected tank. not difficult at all

I do Love Hemianthus micranthemoides, although it takes time to adapt, but when the do, they're easy to grow even in a nonCO2 environment

Pogostemon Helferi is quite expensive but awesome! I paid $23 for a pot with a small plant! Well worth it in 4 months it’s tripled in size without co2 love the leaf texture and shape

My favorite one is the "Green Lotus" you ship out rarely "by mistake" in your "Red Lotus" packs! It is an awesome plant, extremely rare to find, and it creates an awesome green "step" wall for the background of the aquarium comparing to the red lotus which immediately tries to reach the surface. It is also a slow grower. After 2 years of searching, I finally got it and it looks AWESOME! Green leaves with red spots next to my red lotus with red leaves and darker red spots.

@@TropicaAquariumPlants What are you talking about! The Green Lotus you have is like a rare Pokemon. Everyone wants one, the Green version is even more beautiful than the red one and no one can find it! Instead of "fixing" this mistake, create a pipeline to support Green Lotuses as a product!
@@ChristosChristos Funny I ordered three red lotus and got three green lotus (from a different company, not Tropica). I recently just got rid of 10 shoots from those plants.

Pearl weed is hard to carpet u need high lights and co2 but it grows so fast its a pain to trim and it makes a huge mess.
pearlweed can grow in low light and non co2
weird category classification, rotala green = medium, but rotala rotundifolia = easy, for me it's both easy, but green is even easier ^^

Hi Vivian. When setting up labels we always think of a plants requirements to achieve optimal growth and beauty; most plants would probably survive in lower tech aquariums but wouldn't really thrive.
What are the silver & yellow tailed fish in this video someone pls.. I accidentally received a single one of these lonely characters in place of what should have been the 8 pregnant adult guppies I purchased that day. I love this fish. He just fitted right in w the community tank. I haven’t been able to ID it yet tho I’m sure it’s probably something I’ve had on the tip of my tongue a few times. I want to find out what needs he has as I’ve a feeling he is a schooling fish as he is very close with the mixed pack I have . He definitely isn’t suffering by being alone tho maybe an identity crisis and I’d be interested to learn his breeding info etc...

It's hard to tell since they are blurry, but the shape of them looks like a rainbow fish. There are a lot of variety of colors and they are a schooling fish.
