@@nghinguyen9132 This is a very common misconception. She is, in fact, a pink prairie dog. Despite their name, prairie dogs are actually medium sized rodents whose closest relative is the squirrel. You can see her prairie dog effigy/motif in her E2 art. Her animal features also reflect prairie dog traits, such as the ear shape and tail. And most telling of all is how she kisses Doktah when greeting them. That is a reference to the famous Prairie Dog Kiss that actual prairie dogs do to determine friend or foe. I imagine alot of the confusion surrounding Gravel stems from her Skill 2 being called _"Rat Swarm",_ but that actually has nothing to do with her race and was likely chosen because _"Prairie Dog Swarm"_ sounds funny. Gravel is the Best operator, She deserves all the love and headpats for helping and carrying us on Difficult stages like Viviana, Faust and Tallulah's stages.
Gravel is an S rank for me, and this video did a fine job of explaining why. She is excellent for new players to have an operator to help fix mistakes rapidly for minimal cost while also still providing best in slot value at end game. There are alternative operators for her roles; sometimes one of the alternatives can be a better option. But Gravel is so cheap to build and does her job so well that she is a worthwhile investment.

Gravel is ESSENTIAL to beating a ton of levels. She has saved my ass so many times by stalling, absorbing attacks, and assassinating enemies. One of the most versatile and useful operators in the game.

Now that she has a module (not amazing but does work for her) she is even better, and dont get me started on that skin of hers. Who would have thought a rodent girl could be this attractive haha~
So you know how every anniversary they release statistics like who has the most LMD, number of slugs killed since launch etc? A statistic I specifically want to see is how many gravels have been deployed/ died.
I got Gravel in recruitment earlier this week, and couldnt really find a good way to use her(started a week ago plz be kind), glad you posted this vid so i can use her properly. She really is a sweetheart and id feel bad if she just sat in my unused ops.

@@Khroniclas Probably because Phantom S1 is mostly inferior to Gravel S2 when it comes to tanking. Phantom S1 is not only has RNG, but is also physical only, so Gravel just does the job better in pretty much every situation.
Gravel is already the best quick deploy in the game. Some might hit harder but none take hits like she does. Gravel at 6* would have to be a full-blown god-level unit.
Another note is that her S2 can tank big hits without stealing heal from your ops, that one heal can save you in a pinch So return the love to gravel and give her e2, she deserves it tanking everything in Terra for us
This is belated but just so you know, when you upgrade her to E2, she only costs 5dp because she has talents that decrease her deploy cost. One extra DP for a truckload more HP is a fantastic tradeoff :3

The only operators that ever get close are Red and Phantom. And only if you need to assassinate someone. Neither has her staying power though.

For Faust, I found Bena is a better alternative. She is like auto-deploy Gravel but Gravel still works really well in other baiting scenarios
