Under The Bridge was played with a Fender Stratocaster.
Readymade from Stadium Arcadium was played with a Gibson Les Paul.
Both played by Rob on a PRS.

Actually, the Jaguar was just the guitar he decided to bring to the video shoot. Another misconception. It's played with a Fender Strat, recorded, and always played live (when he was in the band)
Noel Haven Though, I digress. Navarro didn't even use PRS's during the One Hot Minute era, he only used Fender Strat's. Assuming RHCP said to him "Hey, we don't care what you play, you're filling in for John, and you're playing a Strat".. So actually, he ought to just play Dave Navarro stuff, which, I guess would be more Janes Addiction stuff.
How is saying that Daves best band was Janes Addiction "controversial" thats his main band, the band that he made a name for himself and easily his best work.
Because he was also in Red Hot Chilli Peppers....

i have this guitar and absolutely love it. killer guitar, and damn near impossible to beat for the price. Plug it into that Blackstar and you've got one hell of a rig for one hell of a good price. I play mine through an HT40 and get tone for days.

agree 100% And he said that he's gonna be controversial when picking Dave's music in Jane's over his music in RHCP. Duh! Jane's addiction first 3 albums are genius. RHCP with Navarro was just really good.

PRS SE's are just amazing guitars. The Deluxe Player Fenders and PRS SE's are easily two of the biggest steals in retail guitardom. Incredibly, and consistently well made for an outstanding street price. I've yet to see one that wasn't damn near perfection.
I think letting Bea join in playing the guitars is great, I love that guys playing style + I think Lee's chops are multiplying :) Nice video and this guitar looks pretty sweet \m/
Also Chappers is a massive influence, legend of a guy :)
Played one of these for about an hour yesterday at Sweetwater Sound. It played sooooooo much better then ANYTHING else in the price range. And it even was great compared to the USA models! I loved it!

Hey Chappers I actually was in a sit down clinic with Paul himself and he talked about the story behind the SE line. They went to the factory and showed them how they make guitars back in the states and then insisted that they put their name on the guitar so they also could take pride in their work. World guitars said they had never been asked to do that before. Paul wanted them to be able to take pride in their work.

In total agreement, as most would be. Japan, Korea, and the U.S. (in no particular order) are generally tops in guitar building.

Actually I read in an interview with PRS himself that he insisted that the guitar be signed (ie. Stamped) by the factory as a way to make them invested in the final quality. In other words their reputation is on the line not just PRS.

My god that guitar's gorgeous...
im not particularly keen on the aesthetics of that model in terms of the gold hardware and it being in glossy white BUT i would love a Custom SE, they just have such a nice body shape and that neck looks like a beaut to play on
World also used to handle the Prestige SZ and S series around 2003-2004, I believe. People weren't really happy about it, but I guess it's testament to World's quality to get to make guitars labeled the same as other Fujigen-made guitars.
Same here, they have a video comparing the EC 2 of the EC series and just a standard ESP Eclipse but Rob wasn't playing on it and tbh it's pretty terrible! I'd love to see a demo of the Ltd EC-1000

How did you do that sound at 8:40? Cellphone?
I can testify that the SE pickups sound absolutely wonderful for low, mid, and high gain applications. Clean, not so much. But if you mostly play the gainier type stuff, there is no better guitar than a PRS SE, for the price.
Readymade is a Mountain Song rippoff, & these guys forgot to mention you CAN split the buckers into single coils like his custom 24 model.
Had it, got a SE245, liked it more tonally and comfort wise.

I think Lee is using Bebot synth. He borrowed that from Mr Phil X of Fretted Americana. It's a really cool trick.

dave navarro was only in the chili peppers for the album "one hot minute" everything else besides the first two albums and the newest album was john frusciante
High-end Japanese guitars are on par with the very best hand-made guitars anywhere in the world. Even the low-end Japanese guitars (if there is such a thing) are often better than low-end USA-made guitars. So if it says "Made in Japan" it's 100% sure quality guitar.
I want one of those signed guitars :o so pretty!!

Yeah, in a guitar shop I've been working in they ahve some amazing Japanese strats, which play just as good as any American strat that I've played.

Epic irony. Playing Under the bridge that featured John Frusciante on a Dave Navarro Guitar for a guy he replaced and later on got re-replaced by.
That first thing that he plays is also in review of ESP LTD ST-203
Lookup the Mockingbird Pro X. The gold works with the black, but it still looks cheesy to me as does this guitar. Then again I own an Green Acrylic Mockingbird, doesn't get much tackier than acrylic.

I was looking this up on the PRS website and basically the spec for both is the same, same pickups etc. but the placement of the controls on the Dave Navarro guitar are in the same position as they are on the old custom 24's, I'm in the market for one myself and am really torn between the 2012 model and this signature one

The tones available from just from the guitar controls is amazing. All my guitars have nowhere near the dramatic differences that this one has. Amazing. And your right about Dave. He has got it all. Many don't care for him because of his "metro-sexual" image. But he gets the hot chicks, is a damn good guitarist, and even had his own TV show for a while. What's not to envy?
