I lost my mom in 2011, and it doesn't really ever get easier. This song gets me in my feelings but I love it. Sometimes I feel guilty for still grieving some days. But it's something you truly never get over completely, especially since I look so much like her and I have a kid now. "It's been over 10 years, you have to move on", but seriously... how do you say goodbye??? 😭
I’m in the same boat. Lost my dad in 2011 and hasn’t gotten any easier, I was also a child and was the one who found him and honestly will never be able to scrub that from my memory, and having my own child now and knowing she won’t ever meet him breaks me in whole new ways. I’m sorry for your loss and hope the best for you and your family
Im slowly losing my mom to dementia at 70, im not ready and its so hard. this song guts me to the core and i dont know how im going to be able to say goodbye to her.
I love this song I lost my mother. Just over a year ago now who was my mother father as my real father wasn't there for me I cry even at @ 42 years of age I always say The saddest part of life is when the person who gave you the best memories become a memory.
