Had a 79 with t tops when I was a Sr in HS in 88.. I’d slap a Journey cassette in, turn that volume up to get them Pioneer 6 by 9s cranking, put on my Members Only jacket and my Oakley shades and cruising the strip looking for the girl with the the most VO5 holding up her 80s hair.
Why if I was ever able to buy a classic I'd go to them in a heartbeat, because of their/his honesty. No surprises and I appreciate and respect that most in a dealer when buying something used. If I know exactly what im getting I can prepare you know?. Anyways I can't agree with you more and I hope that all is well with you and yours. 🙏🙌🍻
@@imhappyandyou.4003 I totally agree. Where I live vehicles are so over priced all across the board. If I ever want to get a vintage car I'll definitely contacting Maple Motors

78-81 Z-28’s sell. Even if they need everything. I am glad I waited and scored a factory 4-speed car that is minty. Loved the grass and cobwebs on the undercarriage!
Bought one brand new in 1978. $6500. When they added the tag and taxes I ran out of money since I was paying cash. Called a friend of mine to loan me the rest. Those were the days.
Wow ! My sisters best friend bought one new in 78' as well. I loed ved it and was jealous. I was still too young to afford one and I never got one. But yes loved the 78'.
Nick, ya do a really good job on your assessments/reviews. Ya’ll bought that car for about $5000, right? Hope no more than that. And, I bet you do have to hit the gas station with that one🙀
Sounds like some electrical work to be done on this one Nick.....Had a 73 and 76 Camaro. I only had a 307 in my 73 and a 350 in my 76. When you closed the trunk, it sounded like the Wookie out of Star Wars!!
Great video as always Nick and like the two comments before me had said it's great and much appreciated that you let every potential buyer know what they're getting.. Thank you for sharing and I wish you good luck next time you go fishing. 🙏🍻
I had a 79 z28, heavy doors , I had the car when only 3 years old, I was second owner, it was a 350 and sluggishly slow for a 2nd gen muscle car , I like the earlier 70s models better , it will find a home though, nothing sets on your lot very long!!
@@natenasty6292 dont take it the wrong way. Just a playful jab. I dont know many people daily driving a 77 Camaro. 😁 you can definitely daily drive a big block though. 🤘
@@pufferfish9045 by classic car standards that’s a bargain if you ask me. Lots of other dealerships sell these classics for far heavier prices than this one
Most everything is sold. We only keep about 15 cars available now even with adding 10 a week. These cars sell fast because we are on the low side of the market. Thanks for watching
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate ok I got it. Man the pickups went quick. Gotta be faster I see. We in market to finally purchase some cars now. Thanks for responding.
Doors need to be kitted, rear pans showing rust and attempted patch job, shows to be stock A arms and suspension which should be changed with BB. Two different oil leaks, one is the usual suspect above the tranny pan. Not picking it apart because I love 78-82 F Bodies especially the RS and Z. But I have also restored more than I can count.
Nice car, but I will never ever understand why you would put the raised white letters towards the inside instead of the outside! Especially with that much sidewall you need to show the contrast of the white lettering against the black. Very nice car otherwise.

beautiful z28
Beautiful Camaro! perfect color - my dream car when I was in high school!
Just FYI the front and rear window trim was painted black on the Z28. Had a 79 Dark blue would've liked the 454 if it were an option!
I'd go with a 427 myself!
Hot? Heck it's snowing here! LOL
Windshield and back window trim is supposed to be black on a Z28 from factory.
I have a true z28 with none of the factory z28 things because personally I think they were gotty but vin is a true z28
