[SFM] Old Reliable?

- Everyone (who's sound of mind) can appreciate the beauty and charm of a steam engine. But their looks and power came at the cost of endless labour and uncomfortable working conditions. Maybe the diesel locomotives which replaced them might have a leg up on their elders in a few areas...
Once again, just 30 FPS for this one. Originally this was three totally separate animations but after realising none of those three were really enough to upload on their own, I reworked the scenebuilds where possible and started work on combining them into one coherent video. Enjoy!

Could you tell this was originally supposed to be three separate videos?
BTW, I'm thinking about withdrawing the channel avatar, I did get the suggestions "Dress her like a railway employee" and "use her for the second channel only", but do you lovely people have any suggestions? Or just leave things how they were?
Hm, why not both, use the original version on the other then use a version dressed as a railway employee here

Even in BR black the Chatham C Class is still an attractive engine. Shame she needed assistance here but they all got there in the end!
indeed but I prefer the flying Scotsman and her graceful livery very attractive loco in my opinion.

Something great about the tf2 standard gauge is that it scales perfectly to Gmod RSG scale track.
It's only a matter of time before someone makes a tf2 themed rsg trainbuild map.

This was a well-made video. I always enjoy what you're able to do with trains in SFM, they just work so well and your ability to tell a story with them, no matter how simple the story is, is impressive. :)
(I need to port one of these locos to live TF2 as a mod replacement for the welltrain at some point, the models are pretty well-done)
Got a request for Those Great Locomotives. LMS Jubilees! Lovely things despite having a bumpy start in their lives.
There is WAY to much wheelslip in casual segments. And you can especially see it on rolling stock
like at 0:57 the wheels just.. slide against the rails
That was entirely the point. Note how those shots are angled to make it look like an incline.

I at first saw the steam engine broken down and the Diesel engine help but the steam engine was facing back but the next sentence it was turn around
How did you add those sparks to the wheels?
Individual shotgun muzzle flashes. Bit tedious, but it works!
