Thankfully you already do it plenty already though I would appreciate you hovering over the items for a sec longer to make it easier to pause in time and read the items myself in case I don't know what they do or if I want to make sure I got their phrasing correctly Happy holidays!
"That's not a slow item!" reminds me of the fact that Bushel can still absorb shield upgrades that don't do anything because even though they took the shield off it, the game still recognizes it as a thing that should have shield (heck "Add to Bushel" still says 10 shield and 10 healing on the Mushroom I think, and I... Don't think that works either). So be careful with your armor scraps!
I think Northernlion is one because I believe (grain of salt since I was watching via UA-cam so I couldn’t see chat) Northernlion read out a suggestion for a pick from retro at one point. I will warn don’t watch Northernlion if you’re looking for 10 piece ranked wins 😂 I quite enjoy him but I can promise you’ll be disappointed if that’s what you’re looking for.
Hey want to give some feedback. It’s awesome to see your expertise, it’s why we’re all watching. It’d be helpful to me, though, if you could mouse over the shops and items while you’re excited and considering them since I’m not as familiar with the icons
I'm just waiting for open beta, so I can start playing. BTW, if I get some time after the game lauch I promise to make 'Hall of Bazaar' if it hasn't been made yet.
i still don't understand how pufferfish died after like 12 hours and quad ray lizard Dooley is...just fine? Obviously it'll get nerfed real soon, but if we're gonna hot-remove problem items...
In a prior episode, he was talking about this when he was presented with a skill that did absolutely nothing for his build. His worry was that this skill would take up a slot in the skill vendor with a high chance of upgrades. He decided to take the skill and then in the next couple of hours, he visited that skill vendor which didn't really do much for him because the one upgrade that it offered was for this useless skill. If he didn't take the skill, he may have gotten more benefit from this vendor. And the skill did not have any contribution to his build, so there was no upside either. In this video, the shield skill that he was tempted to skip was more questionable. The skill itself really wasn't great because the numbers were so small compared to the shield scaling he had, but it wasn't nothing either. So I think it's fair to skip the skill, but also not too bad to take it. for burning rage, however, there's really no benefit. He wasn't really doing much with burn, he didn't have any weapons to benefit from the skill, and he didn't really have any plans that would change this setup to make the skill useful. The odds of the skill taking away an upgrade slot are much smaller, but why risk it if the skill doesn't do anything good for you anyway?
He explains very clearly what you lose by taking a skill, and it perfectly matches my experience playing the game. The game is all about managing RNG in your favor and adding a useless skill to your pool that reduces the chances of upgrading a skill you actually want or rolling a new skill entirely is detrimental.
It's not "weak reasoning", you just don't understand it. You're like that dude who called Cuphead "bad" and "too difficult" when in reality, he's just bad at it, lol. There's a word for it... iirc it's called "disappointment"
At a certain point it is more fun to win with something interesting than just to win with the standard meta. Thanks for teaching me that Retro!
Tis not about winning, the path to victory is the defining factor.

Happy holidays!
Ditto! Thank you Reto!

Even worse on Vanessa; Trebuchet can eat Haste upgrades the same way!
Just played against 14 Dooleys in a row. I would have preferred to lose to venom than what I did end up losing to...
For the briefest of moments, I thought I was witnessing the mythical Reto (UA-cam) loss. Phew.
24:08 I can't believe you clicked that button...I am at a loss for words.
Glad to see the gamba ray build paid off in the end.
Now I’m curious about what streamers or UA-camrs that play bazaar that Retro is enjoying

Omg that final fight was T E N S E
Thanks Retro :D You make my day better
This is not off-meta, this is anti-meta 😯 That last fight was the proof: a booty-clencher toe-to-toe with THE current meta
That app idea is great! I’d definitely use something like that

Damn that last fight couldn't be any closer!
Still got me waitjng and dreaming of a sunlight spear run
Now this was a great episode. 🎉
a chemsnail build! also merry christmas eve's morning reto!
Appreciate the Blink182 reference...
Such a cool build, well played game. Damn.
Heyo! Shall you be playing the dicey dungeons Christmas special this year?
Talk about a photo finish 😅
I'm just waiting for open beta, so I can start playing.
BTW, if I get some time after the game lauch I promise to make 'Hall of Bazaar' if it hasn't been made yet.
I have gotten Augmented Defense, but only from the Monster Skill vendor.
Ya you’d need to just sit down on the wiki item list and copy paste it into a excell spreadsheet
You are the Tent City Mayor.
Great episode

Because the devs are on break
@15:54Dew it 😈
You did not hover over chrono barrier :(
J'adore cette série
i like armored core but i prefer the souls series
Happy holidays to those who celebrate!
The argument of skipping skills is kinda weak, you lose nothing by taking it.

on a very minimal level, it also costs gold which you can use elsewhere to further improve your build
