Corner of Meriden & East Main was the scene of my first crash in 1979. I was sitting at the light waiting to cross East Main in a 69 VW Beetle and got rear-ended by a 77 Monte Carlo, who took off. Got his plate, though 😁 At age 16, I learned how to file a police report and an insurance claim. Good times!

Once you get past Meriden Road and the park East Main doesn't seem to have changed much.
