As a Mexican, I often see Mexican authorities arresting cartel leaders, but I’ve never seen the U.S. apprehend a drug lord operating within its own borders. Do you really believe that in a billion-dollar illegal business, there are no drug lords in the U.S.? Who handles the distribution, collects the actual cash, and sends it back across the southern border? Why is the U.S. so willing to use military force abroad instead of addressing the root causes, like the promotion of a drug culture? In my country, we don’t have marijuana dispensaries or questionable prescriptions from doctors suddenly recommending cannabis as if no other alternatives exist. This normalization starts with marijuana and escalates until you have people on the streets of major cities behaving like zombies. If we were in Europe or South America, maybe organizaed crime violence wouldn’t even exist. But we share a massive border with the most drug-addicted nation on Earth, one that’s willing to pay exorbitant prices for illegal substances. It’s time for the U.S. to take responsibility and stop blaming others as a convenient excuse. Do you really think that bombing cartel leaders will suddenly solve the drug problem? Mexico is far too used to sucking money out of the USA. After decades of this, Mexico has become sort of self-entitled. At this point, Mexico defends its citizens from being shot during home invasions on USA soil by filing lawsuits against USA firearms makers. Making Americans lessened by loss of 2A rights means Mexico protects its citizens in home invasions.
I think there's no problem that guns are made, the problem is that you fuel a war in a other country because of them. Then you complain why drugs come into the US.
The lawsuit does have a point. There is a big talk about cracking down on fentanyl coming over, yet, where are the guns flowing down from? The battle is lost if we don't hold ourselves and gun manufacturers accountable on this side of the border and cut off the flow.

Another example of what's wrong with our government. You have these people lobbying for private firms. Our government should not be influenced by private companies period.

What a brainless comment. Private companies are comprised of private citizens. Who do you think should influence the gubmint? Deep State bureaucrats? NGOs?

I can confirm this is true as a US citizen with hispanic heritage. Mexico is out of control with the cartel violence.
And the United States is out of control with the drug consumption
And Mexico is out of control with their drug smuggling/distribution

If Mexico doesn't want American guns in Mexico, let them make a law that forbids any Mexican citizen from purchasing one. Add to that a life sentence in a Mexican jail.

@Reyes_e Gun manufacturers legally export into Mexico every day. Their police, military, and government officials that are on the cartel payrolls rely on these weapons to replace their "stolen" weapons that are part of what's funneled into the streets... Oh, smart one 🙄

😂😂 tell that to Trump! His big nose it right with Mexico! So tell me who’s obsessed
@@Lauranessa1 You are obsessed with ignorance.
That doesn’t address the demand or the deeper issues at play. Get you shit together and stop blamming others

Mexico has no jurisdiction in our USA... Throw this lawsuit out as its a waste of time
And money.
Usa guns have no jurisdiction in Mexico if usa had a better system to track there guns would be an issue
@gansitosrt8764 that's unconstitutional and that will never happen.
I think there's no problem that guns are made, the problem is that you fuel a war in a other country because of them. Then you complain why drugs come into the US.
They are all defending their money making companies no matter lives of onocent kids n other inocent people. They are all guilty
The lawsuit does have a point. There is a big talk about cracking down on fentanyl coming over, yet, where are the guns flowing down from?
The battle is lost if we don't hold ourselves and gun manufacturers accountable on this side of the border and cut off the flow.
The problem is USA not Mexico
