thank you very much for your videos, they are very interesting… since I too have a 100 amp eco-worth I am happy with the result obtained after one year a warm greeting
Thank you for watching and taking time to comment, it's appreciated. Ive just uploaded a new video here - ua-cam.com/video/6qerYOBVH9U/v-deo.html
Love the video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video! I think I'll try recalibrating my Atorch tester and see if I can match your tests. At the same settings, I'm getting 95.7Ah/1224Wh out of my Eco after 10 months. Nice job with the new BMS, bluetooth and heating are great additions!
Thanks for watching and taking time to comment 👍
Just a observation, the 10A discharge rate on that 100ah it’s a 0.1C. The 1C would be 100a discharge over one hr or so.
Nice results nevertheless, 108ah after first year it’s pretty good.
You are correct, my mistake
ah nice video interesting results!
Shame I blocked the mic 🎤 😆
@@DCGUY haha could still get the jist of what you were inferring about JBD BMS 🤟
I'm about to buy a 150Ah version of ths battery (from Germany) and so it's good to see, that in this case at least, the brand holds up well over time. I hope I'll have similar results!
Thanks for watching and taking time to comment 👍
Nice to see the battery hold up well ..cheers forthat .. BTW the "C" relates to the capacity so 1C discharge for this battery is 100A ..10A discharge is 0.1C.. No biggie ;-) !
Yes you're correct
Nice.
Thanks!
Thanks for doing this test. I just came across this company and wasn't sure if the cells are any good because the price is a bargain. Feel better about them now.
Check out this as with discounts usually on eBay or amazon it may be even cheaper ua-cam.com/video/PAM0GyKxrJ8/v-deo.html
@@DCGUY Thanks! Checking it out
Thanks for the video. I was wondering what the low voltage cut off is on the Eco BMS? Also, how is the battery holding up after another year? Thanks
Mine are still doing the job. Low voltage cut off should be in the region of 10 volts.
The 1.3 ohms you mentioned earlier in the video is the load resistance, not the internal resistance of the battery.
Yes, I know. Cheers 🍻
Full support idol new friend here😊😊😊😊😊
Big thanks
Hi, hope you're well and enjoying the Sun we have today. I was wondering if you still have and use these batteries. FYI remember i told you about an issue i had with the Edecoa All-in-One 4500w inverter and the voltage coming from the Input, well it was indeed an earthing issue. Strange that there is not 1 person reviewing or talking about this inverter on UA-cam or pretty much the entire web.
Yes I still use these batteries and I'm glad you found the issue.
What sort of use did it have in terms of cycling over the year? What voltage were you charging to? How low were you cycling it? What sorts of charge and discharge currents? Any idea of Wh cycled?
I charged using mppt set at default 7 for lifepo4 14.2 discharge currents varied day to day. I'm upgrading bms to help me capture more accurate data. I have 2 banks of 3 in parallel which in my set up I can use one bank or both banks, same with charging.
@@DCGUYinteresting. Max amp usually? Direction of 1A or 99A?
Thank you for testing! Bought a 10ah and 50ah due to price, expecting to get maybe 50 or 75% capacity. I'm happy to say I've gotten the rated capacity as you did. Appreciate the video!
I am back with another question. What manufacturer is the BMS in your batteries? I ask because that is the part that usually fails onn these batteries. Thanks in Advance.
The are actually JBD BMS units, not top of the range but functional for the use. I ended up upgrading mine with an updated JBD 100a BMS with Bluetooth as I like to see cell data.
Thanks for the info. Considering tis battery
Take a look at fogstar too
I noticed your 100 amp eoc worthy batteries have prismatic cells. Eco-Worthy has told the one I purchased a week ago has cylindrical cells & it does weight more by about 3 lbs. I have not load tested but it wil;l only charge up to 14.2 volts. How far does yours charge up to?
14.2 is what I charge mine to. If it is Cylindrical Cells the bms will take a bit longer to balance too.
@@DCGUY I was A little hesitant because it seems they have changed the internals of this battery to Cylindrical cells. I know that Battle Born uses cylindrical cells also & they have a great reputation along with a high price tag.
How are your batteries purposed? How do do you use them?
I use them to power most of my daily power requirements. 🔋
Hello, I realize your post was a year ago, but I am going to try to ask for help anyways......
I bought 2 Eco worthy batteries just like the ones you have in the video. 12v100ah, last summer. I also have an Ecoworthy Charger. I only ended up using one of the batteries,as the other was not needed. I used this battery about 5 times last summer( on a snowcone stand), never fully discharged. They were kept indoors all winter, cool dry room.....Well, its Summer here now-neither one will charge, the charger flashed 13.0 then 4.5A ,and that all it does....The batteries measure @ 1/2 full but have both dies when I tried to use them this year, today actually, while serving customers at a market----and the fore mentioned is what happens when I got them home to charge them and try investigate what happened. But I don't know whats happening, or what to do about it, or anything? Cold you please help me? Keep in mind, I am not as advanced as you, not do I have all these interesting gadgets---just a farmers market snowcone stand owner trying to get help. I hop you get this and can reply. Thank you for you time.
Sorry to hear of your situation. Do you have access to another charger? It may be the charger that is causing the issue, but it is a case of ruling that in or out.
WARNING Customer service nightmare. Stay away.
What vender did you use? I have purchased through Amazon and they are responsive and took care of my needs.
Who puts red on negative and tan on positive? What was your thinking or did you just Fck up?
I simply utilised what I had and I knew what was positive and what was negative
