- “The Kicking Machine” meets “Wiz” at the Unbreakable Gym in Los Angeles, California. What happens when two legends in two completely different worlds meet for a Muay Thai training session? Exactly this! The man who needs no introduction to the music world, Wiz Khalifa training alongside another household name but in the world of Muay Thai, Superlek YOKKAOSaenchaiGym. Kicking things off with Superlek explaining the basics of what their session will consist of. The world renound rapper was no stranger to the Muay Thai scene and took all the information in his stride. From leveraging his long limbs with boxing into knees, advancing into intricate elbow strikes both in and outside of the clinch. Finishing the warm up with Superlek’s tricks to release the leg after being caught, which was clearly no problem for The Wiz. Then it became time for the pads! Again with Wiz’s prior Muay Thai training he took to Superlek’s instructions in an instant and impressed The Kicking Machine with both his own kicks and elbow strikes. It’s moments like this that shows the true weight of the sport we all know and love, two men from opposite sides of the globe, at the top of their game coming together in a singular passion. @Zen Fae I been doing kickboxing, muay thai for 10 years. I've seen guys who have trained for longer with way worse technique. Wiz isn't advanced but he has good fundamentals.

It kills your credibility. We can argue(or not) about his fundamentals but his technique shows that he’s been doing it for a couple months only. It’s not decent. It’s bad and that’s 100% normal.

for extra range. Works well if you want to stay in the outside. You sacrifice power of reach.
Depends what the fighter is trying to do. You can definitely land head kicks, rib or stomach kicks with the foot
@@Falcon11994 I feel the same when I first started my journey but after many years into Muay Thai and traveling to Thailand to learn from other teachers I found out that there is a section of your tendon and small muscle group right by where the foot and ankle connects and where the shin meets and what happens is over long periods of training/fighting it builds up strength and hardness there and with that extra length in your kick it can help give a knockout kick to the head or chin depending where it lands. Kiatmoo9 gym perfected their middle kick over the generation of fighters and they learned that it was an extra length in their kicks to help gather points or K.o. in the ring. There's so much more in our body parts that many don't realize that can be a weapon if it's trained correctly which is also illegal in the MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing or any combat sport world.
