I used to be a fast bowler but number 7 batsman in my club team. I used to do the same mistake what you have explained in your video. I could never figure out why my face of the bat getting closed and end up getting out LBW most of the time. I tried doing hanging ball practice and tried bottom grip and sometimes open chest batting. It helped me a little bit but it affected my stroke playing abilities. I was relying on singles and doubles whereas the number 7 batsmen suppose to play more aggressive strokes.
I never knew that it was the grip what had troubled me.
I wish someone would have explained me this fault during that time.
