Hi Jason. Didn’t know you that your doing reviews again 👍. Just been through your glenfarclas range reviews. Do like a glenfarclas but they do have batch variations problems which put many drinkers off but personally that appeals to me. The 105 and the 15 are my two favs, good whisky at a good price. Great work again! Glenfarclas 105 is my favorite whisky ... well, probably Glenfarclas 25 is my favorite, but I tell people it's the 105 because it's cheaper and maybe one day somebody who took note of my "favorite" will buy me a bottle. 🤣😛😛🤣 Cheers!
I think you are to kind, my bottle is dated 013120 and it's a bit lighter in color than yours. It's my first bottle of the 105, and I was expecting more of a sherry bomb. The talk has been so positive and when I found one for a decent price I feel a little let down. It's hot and the fruits are just not bursting. I give it a little help with the 12 year old at 43% but I would love to try an impressive dark version.
Just finished a 2014 bottling of this 105...quite dark in comparison to what's currently on the shelves. Not long after they dropped the 10 year age statement (have 1 of those). Very enjoyable.

Opened a bottle of 105 just recently. Sadly it's pretty sulfury...
It's a 10 year old malt and not a NAS. Read back label on box n bottle carefully
