The only Punchline I'm aware of is in a alternate universe, and there's no Harley Quinn on that Earth. Is this Earth Prime.?
The autograph Batman left her is both cute and clever. Firstly, to the kid, him drawing her a Batman bat symbol is probably the coolest thing in the world he could have drawn for her on the fly; but secondly, it’s very clever, in that if he wrote a word down, it’d be potential evidence that could lead to someone identifying his handwriting as a match for Bruce Wayne’s.
I mean... Knowing how absurdly over skilled Batman is.. who knows at this point 🤷🏻
I wouldn't be surprised if a Batman fanboy just jumps out of the bushes to scream that "BAtMaN cAn WrItE iN 50 dIfFeReNt wRiTiNg pAtTeRnS mAkiNg iT iMpOsSibLe tO tRaCk hIs wRiTiNg bAcK tO BrUcE WaYnE"
Plus it’s more notable than just writing ‘Batman’. If you wanna brag that you got his autograph, the word ‘Batman’ would feel a little too obvious for some. It also caters to how iconic Batman’s expressiveness is, such as how he’s not the kind of guy who’d take selfies with somebody or something like Superman likely would
Still brilliantly executed act of kindness only The Batman could do 🦇
@@eddydaniels9842 Yeah Bats still has a heart

The autograph wasn't only the bat symbol, but is reminiscent of a batarang. The villains weren't worth a batarang, but the fan was.

What if one of them yelled "I hatenwords!" with a hard "r"?

2:40 I know that’s not THE Joker but the idea of him getting up, slightly changing his outfit, and yelling “SOMEONE GET BATMAN A DRINK” would be pretty funny
That would be perfect.
And it's pretty in character for Joker.
I'd like to think Joker just attended the party knowing what would happen and wanted to watch the imitators get beaten up, including his own.
Oh yeah, Joker would be the kind so show up and just watch the chaos unfold. Though probably having his own backup plan incase funny stuff doesn’t happen
My head canon is that this WAS actually Joker, even though the real Joker was hiding in Europe at the time.
Batman dressed as Killer Croc is a BTAS reference.
I was just going to comment this
"It was big rock?."
Everyone who was alive in the 90s knows this.
What?? 🤦 Make sense

Rich guy: "Let's have a super criminal themed disguise party! Nothing can possibly go wrong!"
Better than Calendar man’s New Year’s story…
ikr, plus those villains are horrifying people, they killed hundrer or thousands of people if not more. Its the equivalñente of having a party with people dress as jeffrey dhamer, ted bundy, jack the ripper, the zodiac killer etc. But is even worse
It's like throwing a huge billionaire party in the middle east where all the guests have to dress up as terrorist groups
@@franciscocastro4082 They are billionaires, they for sure admire super villains and wish they could treat their employees like their goons
Dressing up as villains that actively terrorize your city for a party is a super messed up idea if you think about it.
Imagine if insanely rich people in New York decided to throw a party on the top floor of a tower dressed as Osama bin Laden.
Not gonna lie, a part of me thought that Batman straight up just dipped and left her without an autograph.
“If you’re writing a Batman who won’t comfort a child, you’re not writing Batman.” ~OSP Red
So did I, and that made me a bit sad.
…..Then I saw the bit of paper floating in the air and wondered if he left it for her while pulling his vanishing act.
Thankfully that was exactly what happened.
"Someone buy Batman a drink!" You know what, that one could legit just be the Joker. Because what would be funnier than being tipped off about Firefly's plan, going to the party, and...just watching Bats work?
the worst thing is that his face looks exactly like the normal Joker. or is indeed the true one, or that guy is amazing cosplaying.
Certain versions of the joker would TOTALLY do this! Go there just because he would find it funny that they crowd didnt know the real joker was there the entire time. Although I feel the real joker would probably have been the one to ask Bats for his autograph, just to troll him :D
2:48 someone buy Batman a drink 😂😂
I would like to think that was actually joker😂
@@Mgronalds either it was or the guy is waaaaaaaaay too good at cosplay

That could have been the actual Catwoman flirting with him just now, and I don't think we'd be able to tell the difference.
Holding a villian themed party in gotham city and inviting every ritch person in the city. What could go wrong? 🤔
I know Gotham is full of rich elites but I didn't know they were lacking braincells.
Why the heck are they having villain themed costumes?! They are literally celebrating these lunatics. I understand we do it irl because they're fake characters, but in the comic book world, they're real lol.

I love how this comic reflects an episode of the animated series called "almost got him" where Batman was indeed dressed as killer croc, talkin like him too

I thought the little girl was a younger version of Punch-Line for a second lol
Wait a second... ... ... She isn't? Goddamn

Oh man, remember that episode. Nice nod to it.
AT LAST!!! I’ve discovered Batman’s one weakness…..
COSPLAYERS!!! 😏
Especially Catwoman cosplayers...
I'm pretty sure he's got the real thing in his batcave.
Somebody thought it would be a great idea to have a bunch of mega-wealthy people dress as supervillains for a party.
In Gotham City.
And nobody expected something like this to happen, except Batman.
I think all the Joker gas and fear toxins unleashed on Gotham over the years has had a cumulative effect on peoples' brains.
It's like someone workshopped the stupidest thing a bunch of rich people could do because they were paid by said rich people for a party idea.
I mean, after a certain point, all tge constant threats to life and/or limb would start to warp peoples' sense of what was normal. Put yourself in the shoes of a Gothamite, and this is, at most, in poor taste.
Honestly, nothing but respect for this one.
Bats disguising himself as Croc reminds me of how there was one story where he tried helping him, the line he said as he knocked out the joke in clown makeup, the Catwoman cosplayer that tried to shoot her shot, and the nice interaction with the little girl as he left. And the fact that it was Firefly instead of the more typical villains behind the heist.
For me this proves that killer croc is Batman's favorite villain from his Rogues or atleast the one he dislikes the least, since he never did anything too fucked up to Batman, and because he's a crocodile which is really fucking cool
Bruh, Killer Croc eats people. He's a cannibal.
batman knows Croc isn't exactly a villain, but a victim of bad luck and circumstances. poor guy never desired to be born with a disease that literally makes him look like a crocodile in almost every way, and was treated as a circus weirdo for that, apart from other bad stuff that happened to him. he was forced to become a mercenary cause everyone rejects him. him and freeze are possibly the most unfortunate guys Batman had to face.
@@Madheim777and those two are the guys Batman feels more strongly for along with a couple others
@@mithruikka Harvey Dent comes to mind as well.
3:00 Oh my God, that part where the little girl that was dressed as Punchline asked Batman for his autograph was so adorable. PS: If you see his expression carefully, you will notice that Batman is smirking a bit.
Batman is a great hero 👍🏾
Agreed 👍🏾
Imagine some grown up stealing that girl autograph, and Batman comeback again to that party to beat that man🤣🤣🤣
I love when the writers remember that Batman always has a soft spot for kids.
The only way this could have been better is if the actual rogues gallery criminals stopped the imposter mercs and Firefly because they just wanted to be a part of the party. Imagine Joker's greatest prank on Batman is being a part of the party and intentionally NOT committing any crimes because he KNOWS that Batman is watching him, just waiting for him to do something. Batman just knows that Joker's going to try to pull something, so the best prank would be to prove him wrong.
It reminds me of the time Batman was going to marry Catwoman and Joker is *genuinely hurt* he wasn't invited. He of course turns up to start shit, but I like to think if Bruce actually sent him an invite he would have actually turned up and behaved himself. In fact Catwoman herself is surprised he wasn't invited, saying something like, "But you two seemed so close"
@@wittyreviewer crazy that in a super fucked up way, they really are close
The closest thing I can think of is the pie in the face present from the Batman the Animated Series Christmas episode.
I get the idea but to the people living in the dc world dressing up as "real life" mass murders wouldn't be a thing they would do for fun. Before you say anything about the real world, when people dress up as real life killers it long, long after their crimes have occurred and still isn't very common because of how blatantly edgy it comes off.
It's one thing to dress up as a criminal who is long dead and everything about their crime life is out in the open. It be like dressing up as Bonnie and Clyde. But not if Bonnie and Clyde were still alive and currently actively robbing people. These rich people are _incredibly_ stupid.
I'm sorry, dude, but I believe some people are this completely tone deaf.
To be fair though I’d imagine less rich people doing this compared to stupid teens
If mass murderers exclusively wore incredibly recognizable bright purple suits or a muscle tank with bright green tubes, you bet your butt that the most socially detached group of people on this planet would do just that
Batman's Gotham's greatest hero. 🎉
Batman doesn't disappoint the Kids! - Because he's Batman!
Did batman just Randy Cunningham out of there
I understood that reference
People dressing up as the criminals that actively plague their city in the current day for a themed costume party is wild. Imagine if people had a Zodiac Killer themed party back when he was active or some shit
I'm sure there are a convention of Jeffrey Dahmer immitators
I mean there's always that one guy in halloween
@@mrabadon3657 There's also a bunch of women who dressed up as Ted Bundy's victims, right in front of the victim's families.
A supervillain themed party thrown by millionaires in the DC universe would probably be a cancellable offense, and I can’t get that out of my head.
Yeah. I don't care how rich you are, if you proposed something like that the police *better* shut that shit down in a heartbeat.
This is the funniest comment I've ever read in my fucking life
It turns out dressing like murderous criminals pisses people off, thats crazy
Meanwhile, in real life, there are a bunch of people dressing up as famous serial killers for Halloween and at one point a bunch of women dresses up as Ted Bundy's victims right in front of the victim's families in court. It's realistic. People are just idiots.
Glad she got the autograph she wanted
punchline cosplayer: can i get your autograph!
Batman: boy what the hell?
That Punchline costume is adorable!
Ngl the ending here is adorable
The bad guy wasn't worth a baterang, but the little girl was. Nice touch by the writer.
I love how Batman disgusieng himself as Killer Croc is a nod to that one time he did the excat same thing in BTAS.
I like that Bruce is surprisingly good with children, it's the only type of person he's always kind to
The Ending.Batman was So Fast.Even Speedster didn't notice when he Leaving.The Goat.❤❤❤
I love that I read firefly’s voice in sundowner (MGRR)’s voice because the same person who plays him plays fire fly in the Arkham games with barely any change in voice between the two characters
It would be hilarious if the Joker was there but just chilling and going with the show XD
People think the broody guy doesn’t appreciate the attention in his line of work, that prolly felt really fuckin good to Batman
Sweet of Batman giving an autograph to a fan.
Batman knows it's 2024, he didn't want to risk the allegation chances
What lead up to this scene? Batman villains are cool characters and all, but wouldn't these people be cosplaying as murderers?
I guess it's to show how out of touch rich people in Gotham are. That they'd host a party like this and not get how bad of an idea it is. That they are so isolated from the outside world that they don't believe that any of the problems of the outside world could get to them. Only Batman realizes what can and will happen at such an event because he might be rich but he's still a good person; which is why he gave that girl an autograph.
This is the aftermath of Joker War. Everyone in Gotham is celebrating from surviving Joker's takeover of Gotham.
Imagine he accidentally autographed "Bruce Wayne"
So cute! Even Batman couldn't say no.
Batman cares for his fans ❤️🥰😭
Wholesome Batman moments in the darkness of his life is the best part of Batman
This reminds me of another time Batman gave an autograph. He knew it was a setup, but still went through with it as not to dissapoimt a fan.
I remember in a short i saw this girl grow up and become sidekick of joker.
I love that little girl in her little boots!!!! She’s so cute!!!!!!!

The panel where batmans disguise gets revealed goes so crazy🔥
Oh wow, they had Batman disguise himself as Killer Croc again? Cool.
I really don’t know why but Batman dressing up as one of his own rogues is so funny to me
Thank you for mentioning the originating comic in the decription. I appreciate it.
Honestly this felt like Adam West Batman along with current day Batman all at once and I love it
I imagine he just has a ‘Bat-Stamp’ that he carries with him everywhere in case he needs to give a quick autograph
1:34 the way Batman is posed and the lighting is, greatest thing from this comic
Imagine yourself real life:

Elon Musk as Osama Bin Laden
Kanye West as himself (aka Führer)
Bill Gates as Kim Jong Un
How do you know Batman smiles?
He frowns less.
"Haha I'm not really Batman guys, I'm Bruce Wayne! This is just my costume for the party haha"
1:35 he’s just standing there…MENACINGLY
the real joker would love this party
too had he wasn't there
So batman just appeared, beat up some cosplayers, gave autograph, and left.
I have a feeling one of those belt boxes is just "stuff to toss to kids".
This is pretty good.Batman can be vicious but he remained reserved seeing these jokes of a menace.
I like the detail of the last panel. The kid has that Riddler's smile/jaw shape and Catwoman's nose and eye set
You know what? I never thought about superhero autographs but they sure as should have one.
Liked how Batman was disguised as Killer Croc yet again to infiltrate a group of villain's. Nice little Almost Got'im easter egg.
So that means that Killer crock is Batman's favorite criminal... Nah, the costume is just big enough for him to fit his own under it.
Next day, The kid posted the Autograph on Ebay...
If I had a nickle for every time batman dressed up as Killer Croc to fool a bunch of villians I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice...
That's adorable.
What kind of parents dress their child like Punchline in a world where Punchline exists?
What's interesting is all those different versions of the same villain in that one panel, like there's a Jack Nicholson Joker a Batman: TAS Joker. How is that possible? At least there isn't a Jared Leto Joker. Apparently, that one doesn't exist. Thank you.
The kid looks like Punchline
1:34 - A nice callback to Batman TAS "I threw a rock at him!"
Looks like regular situation in sims 4.
Fight, and maybe you can even get appreciation from others.
Cosplayer: *flirts*
Batman: You are not her.
I liked how Batman disguise as Killer Croc is a reference to Batman: TAS "Almost Got Him" in where Batman disquise as Killer Croc to played Poker with his rogue gallery to get intel on Catwoman whereabou!
Funny, if you told me he left only one person satisfied I would have guessed the Catwoman cosplayer.
I lost it when batman was revealed in the killer croc outfit like how did the pointy ears not show through?
