    Thank you its above my current level at the moment I will do some research on your sugestions to see if I can pull it off.

    I started the course "Compositing with DaVinci Resolve & Fusion"
    and I am happy to see that there are a lot of topics covered,
    I am only at the beginning, but it is already well explained,
    yet the English language is not my mother tongue and I cannot understand everything orally,
    but luckily there are English subtitles on the videos on the platform, it helps a lot.

    You are doing NUTS:)
    I also wanted to make a Tutorial like this from Blender to Fusion.

    Hi Bernd, thanks for your continued efforts in Fusion. They are much appreciated.
    Just a quick addition, the 'Resampling Rate (fps)' option in the FBX Importer dialogue is CRUCIAL. It has to be set to the same frame rate with which you exported your animation from your DCC of choice (Blender, Maya, Houdini, etc.), otherwise your render passes and the camera animation won't match.
    I just came across this problem last week when I imported a 25fps animation (in various passes) and then imported the corresponding FBX scene. Things weren't matching at all and I thought I was going insane, before I realised that I had imported the FBX scene with the Resampling Rate set to 24fps. Once I re-imported things in 25fps everything matched perfectly. Lesson learned ;-)

      Thanks for the comment. Agreed, that indeed sounds very confusing. Typically I assume that we want everything with the same frame rate (Fusion tracking, 3D render) and no resampling anywhere.

    UA-cam is screwing up. I am subscribed, but I did not receive an email notification for this as I normally do. It just came up in my feed this morning.

      I'm sending out emails to those who opted in to get notified for every tutorial on my website.
      However, since this one is part of the course I only once sent a link to the Playlist to people not in the course rather than announcing each of the 7 videos.

    Ich finds echt klasse wie sehr du dir Mühe gibts :)
    Hab schon echt viel gelernt und werde bestimmt demnächst mal deinen Thanos Effekt ausprobieren. Liebste Grüße ;)

    Can you make a Projection Camera on an imported .fbx camera, or when the camera is imported, then you can’t project video in it?

  • @electricpictures100

    There are many videos around for compositing. But i dont see anything to cover for example.Imagine a person walking from the back of the room to the front of the room Towards camera. As they are walking they zig zag from left to right around objects. So while walking they are first behind the a object and then in front of it say on three objects.
    This would be shot on a green screen. The lots of video for placing objects behind or infront. but not what I just described.
    Any thoughts thanks.

    • @VFXstudy
      @VFXstudy  Рік тому

      Well, if you can put objects behind and in front than you can also do both techniques in sequence. It will require some careful keyframimg of your Foreground merges or you have to do it through 3d projection and position the catcher planes very carefully. But the closer the interaction between actor and objects the more difficult it gets and the more time-consuming tweaking you can expect...

    Thank u alot but i used a script before made for blender to export the camera into fusion 9

    • @VFXstudy
      @VFXstudy  3 роки тому +2

      Sure if it works, no problem. Sometimes you might want to bring in Geometry with the import as well, but there are usually more than one way of achieving things.

      Yeah thanks alot i learn alot from ur channel. I have a question is there any way to import animated mesh with uv into fision.

    • @VFXstudy
      @VFXstudy  3 роки тому +1

      @@jamaljamalwaziat1002 Well there are definitley some mesh animations coming through with the FBX import - but I think when individual objects are animated not sure about the actual mesh itself, haven't tried that.

    This is really nice thank you, question, does simulation (particles) from other software needs to be 3D tracked first before compositing in a compositing software or can it be exported as a special file and 3D track in the compositing software ?
    (Example. A dust/fire simulation from Houdini into Fusion studio.)
    -Beginner. Thanks

    • @VFXstudy
      @VFXstudy  3 роки тому

      Well, do the particles depend on the camera movement in the shot? For example if you have a shot with a moving camera of a building and you want a Houdini fire simulation to look exactly like the building itself is burning, then the rendered simulation form Houdini needs to match the plate on which you want to composite it. In that case, Houdini needs a 3D camera that matches the original camera movement - that camera can come either exported from Fusion or from another 3D camera tracking application. Of course there might be cases where it's enough to render a simulation from a static camera and then maybe matchmove it with 2d techniques or card projections, the same way you would add a stock effect..., but if you have true 3d effects that are supposed to match a 3d scene, then it needs to be rendered from a matching camera as well.

    • @kdkielbro3501
      @kdkielbro3501 3 роки тому

      @@VFXstudy This is awesome! Thank you. Yes, I wanted to have a realistic fire/dust simulation that matches with the camera movement (to make it even more realistic). This is some extra work then, I thought a simulation project can be exported from Houdini into Fusion so it can be 3D tracked within the Compositing page with the other elements (footage, 3d model etc.) altogether.
      Do you prefer to track it or like do a static camera view of the particles when doing destruction simulation ?
      So much help. Danke.

    • @VFXstudy
      @VFXstudy  3 роки тому

      @@kdkielbro3501 not sure what you mean by export a simulation. You can render from Houdini with a matching camera.
