If im correct, i think the bigger yachts cant get close to land so they park further out and the use small boats to get to the lager ones, but thats just what ive heard so idk
Those pics of the cars coming out of the tunnel are breathtaking. You're right, the Gulf livery on the McLaren looks gorgeous. The bright red Ferrari does as well.
This is my first full season as a F1 fan. All this craziness this week from racing in Monaco has me super inspired to crack at it and one day be able to afford to go enjoy this spectacle.
More excellent content Kym. Great work. And indeed, Monaco is a very special place. In 1976 mt parents drove me around the streets of Monaco roughty 3 days after the grand prix that year. I recall seeing the incredible amounts of rubber which had been laid down on the harbour streets.
If you watch closely, you can find some hidden imagies in almost all of Kym's videos! Here is one at 9:10,if you pause at the right frame, you will see it.
I saw the race twice in the 70s. Paid nothing. Slept on the beach, walked through the pits the night before the race and sat at the hairpin for both races.
Don't forget Mr. Illman or should I say Mr. Fashionista, the glitz, the glamour, champagne wishes and caviar dreams. Enjoy, and have a great quali. and race. Amazing shots in the tunnel. Keep doing what you do and congrats on the merch., thinking of a purchase. Finally, more Kimi!
Kim, you thrilled me alot with this video. The line...'You can't have a meal unless you are a local, got a pass or FIA accreditation'. That has to introduced everywhere not just Monaco.
NASCAR has something called "Throwback Weekend", where teams & drivers choose a paint job from the sport's history. When I used to watch the races, I sometimes mistoke current drivers for older ones, because of how accurate some schemes are. I sure a lot of you can agree that you'd love to see, for example, a 90's Williams throwback. NASCAR's Throwback Weekend is held at the sport's oldest paved track, Darlington, build in 1950. If F1 decides to do the same thing, I imagine they'd hold it at either Monaco, Silverstone, or Monza
It would be great to have one race, maybe Monaco, where the cars could display their old historic paint schemes. This is done in NASCAR at Darlington and it is taken to the point that announcers and team personnel dress to look as they would in the 70s. This has been a great success the last few years.
Don't know if you already done this, but could you do a video of how your journey as a photographer and how the revenue for a formula 1 photographer works and all!
Hi Kym. Love the addition of the merchandises. Hope to send you a pic once, I get hold of one of those beauties (merchandises). Enjoy the weather in Monaco, its been blowing hurricane winds here in London.
Awesome stuff. I especially like the pictures of where you can take pictures from / pictures of cars in the background with the humanity of f1 in the foreground. It's an insight into F1 that cannot be got anywhere else, unless we go to the track. But then again I'm probably the only person looking for that :-)
Being a camera guy in the film industry, I immediately glance at your photo stats for those great pics of the cars coming out of the tunnel. It said 1/100... and I was thinking noooooo way until I heard you say 1/1000. I love my 135mm and 90mm. Shoot around 3.5 and it looks great. Nice field of view still too. Great shots Kym. Too bad you didn't get a shot of your Ferrari rental. ;). Curious, have you ever tried to shoot very quick videos for GIFs?
That big yacht in the harbour is stunning. Cant take my eyes off of it. However I wouldn’t buy one that big. I’d like a little one that i can pilot and have fun on with a few mates. Imagine one 40% of the size of the big one but has the same style
Thank you very much for showing us around Monaco. I would love to be this weekend. Can you get you pictures put on canvas and you sell them at all Kym? Keep save and enjoy you weekend. Best wishes to you Antony
As an Aussie (Perthite) Any tips on going to Monaco when the F1 is not on?? Like the easiest way to fly, travel, location on where to stay.. The best bang for bucks??
@Kym you mentioned if you're staying outside of Monaco no restaurant access--is that a Covid thing or every year? We're planning to add Monaco 2023 to our honeymoon in Greece!
lol you know Stroll is rich when he makes every yacht in Monaco look small
If im correct, i think the bigger yachts cant get close to land so they park further out and the use small boats to get to the lager ones, but thats just what ive heard so idk

Apart from kimi’s 😂
Some of those boats to the left and below are ‘big, and those yachts at the top are huge... his is just short of being a cruise liner.
You just never see The Dilbar because it's being anchored bit far from the marina. That ship is the biggest there.
That Ferrari coming out of the tunnel. Magic
Kym: “A car cannot do a 180° turn at that point”
Mazepin: Hold my beer...
vodka*
LOL!
Those pics of the cars coming out of the tunnel are breathtaking. You're right, the Gulf livery on the McLaren looks gorgeous. The bright red Ferrari does as well.
2:25 Mazepin: "I'm gonna end this man's whole career."
You just made me spit water all over my laptop LOL
LMAO!
Literally
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:21 the boat belongs to Michael Latifi, N. Latifis dad. Stroll sold it to him some time ago.
We went to the GP a few years ago and stayed in a modest hotel in Nice and got the train in. Saved us a few pounds. Wonderful experience
This is my first full season as a F1 fan. All this craziness this week from racing in Monaco has me super inspired to crack at it and one day be able to afford to go enjoy this spectacle.
That Gulf Oil livery on the McLaren coming out of the tunnel is truly stunning. Great vid as ever Kym - thanks
Those tunnel shots are amazing!

@@PAULSWorld131 Yea,maybe beacuse Kym's favourite driver was Hulkenberg to shoot.
yep saw that
Yup in front of the throphy
if on pc use the < > respectfully to get the perfect frame ;)
I love the way you bring F1, especially Monaco, to people who will just never be able to go. Good on you for your hard work!

those shots in the tunel are the most beautiful F1 shots i've seen wow!
Kim, you thrilled me alot with this video. The line...'You can't have a meal unless you are a local, got a pass or FIA accreditation'. That has to introduced everywhere not just Monaco.
I can hear quite clearly your love for Monaco in your voice 🤗🤗🤗. Have a great time Kym and amazing content; is like we are there with you 😎😎😎
''More in a second, well eight actually.''
You are such a funnny and down to earth men in such a glamorous world, I love it XD
my goodness those tunnel shots were amazing.
Just found my new desktop wallpaper source! Thanks Kym! I'm now a member!! Having fun editing your RAW's. Love the channel.
I must say kim uses vignette tool extensively on sunny days.😂 amazing❤️
It's actually part of shooting through the armco
Not a vignette, though. The darker areas are actually the armco barrier through which he shoots.
Thanks for including EXIF!
Kim, somehow you've managed to make Monaco that much more exciting - Love it! Thank you for all your inputs and tidbits of information
True professionnel sir. Everything is well done.❤
Woaaaah those tunnel exit shots!
Loved the tunnel photos.
Love your work Kym! Keep it up mate 👏
In 2019 i was able to drive the circuit on a normal day with my rental Peugeot. Amazing experience lol

Lewis on the MV Agusta (my favorite bike!) very nice. And those tunnel shots Kym are incredible, congrats on those. Enjoy!
These two shots are so sick to edit. Thanks!

@@cybernetix86 Its Lance and Nikita. Sadly no Lando or Max
Monaco is a beautiful place.
Kym, im gonna need a Monaco F1 book 2021 please. Those Tunnel shots are freakin' epic.
Might well do that. Thanks for the suggestion.
This was great! It's my dream to come to Monaco during the race
Really awesome pictures sir !👍

Kym, I think it's safe to say that you're running out of travel tips, I knew that you could do that and I feel like many others did as well!

I love your scarf against the orange and yellow background! They compliment each other very well xoxo from chicago 💕
A great distraction.

1:17 Actually papa Latifi bought this boat from daddy Stroll recently
Great video, love the shots of the cars coming out of the tunnel, I hope to go one day and watch the race
Great video, thought I was there at one stage.
Carlos and his "Scooteria Ferrari"
When Strolls boat goes faster around Monaco than the F1 car does.
