The reason you're not seeing any mouthmasks in the crowds is due to the fact our government stated that wearing a mask isn't mandatory anymor, except when you cannot keep a social distance (something which unfortunately wasn't picked up by the Dutch population nor the media). Hey Kym, thanks a million for a super coverage again!!- I am sure you are aware, but Nascar super-speedways (Daytona, Talladega) come up to 31-33 degrees banking and most Nascar US tracks have 5-6 degrees to frequently > 10 degrees banking. So Zandvoort is say, a good average for banking haha. A great race weekend to you again :)

In the hotel bar try beerenburg (like Jagermeister but better) and Jenever (old is better). Gin is what happened when the English tried to copy Jenever and failed...

You're probably one of the few people who are even allowed to drive in Zandvoort right now! On sunny beach days it would always get far too busy in Zandvoort car parks so for the Grand Prix they have made it a car free zone and everyone needs to come by bus, train or bicycle!

Had tickets for FP1 and 2. Hope you enjoyed your stay here. Don't forget to eat fries the Dutch way, with mayonaise :)
@@KymIllman The cameras did cut and for half a second in the center of the screen I saw a cameraman that looked a fair bit like you taking a photo, maybe they weren’t though lol.
Im expecting the race to have lots of safety cars sessions, maybe red flags too. Seems narrow and with few places to pass. Drivers seem confused by the banking.

@@KymIllman At 2hr and 56m it is a long movie, and it has a lot of off track drama that drags a bit. It does have actual race footage and camera car work from Monaco, Spa, The Nurburgring, Monza and Zandvoort. I think it is well watching for a serious F1 fan.
All gets a bit muddled around the 9 to 10 minute mark when you say George went round the track on a bike and was brought into the track on a scooter driven by a Red Bull person, and then you wonder where Kelly Piquet, his girlfriend was. Presumably with Max. I think you cut an important bit out.

Scooters could actually have an added benefit of feeling how motorized wheels will feel running across the track.
