    I'm currently a powerlifter enrolled in a "starting strength" gym, where we do benchpress, deadlift, power clean, OHP, pullups, and squats. I'm thinking of switching to CrossFit but I'm unsure if it's right for me. One thing I really like about my current gym is we get physical notebooks to write down our progress and we can see numbers going up each week.
    I'm worried that CrossFit will be more "exercise" than "training", i.e., just getting sweaty and sore but not necessarily improving. Do you know if that's true?

    Crossfit is dying.

      For some people, maybe it seems like that is happening. But for the millions of people around the world who wake up and do "constantly varied, functional movement performed at a high intensity" (no matter what they call it) - I think the methodology is VERY alive and well.
