This is the style johnny needs to go by now. no band other then dgd has brought out his best. Only emarosa came close. He is by far my favorite singer and hope he keeps making music.
It sucks that he can't keep even decent talent by his side due to his addiction and subsequent behavior. I personally think DGD has hit its best stride since Tilian but Johnny's voice deserves good talent... If only he didn't suck so bad interpersonally.

I know Jonny is a royal fuckup because of his substance abuse problems, but, man, he has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Tilian is a great replacement, but Jonny was a perfect fit for DGD.
he seems to be doing better. and idk how you feel about slaves but basically the whole album hes adressing his issues with addiction and how hes staying straight. It really hit me hard, as a former addict myself
You’re right Jonny is the best front man for the band. It’s sad to see drugs ruin such a promising artist. I think Jonny will return for another album eventually Dgd knows deep down the original line up is the best line up

Dance Gavin Dance doesnt compare to any band out there. You can feel his soul connecting to yours when you listen to DGD. Not many bands have that quality. You can say whatever you want about DGD but the true fans will be there to the end.

yellowdoghnut45 dtbm pt2 is the worst out of them all, to me. mothership isnt all that bad, just my opinion ( i never really dug this album, i love all dgd stuff though ) but i think this and mothership are about equal. idk ill always like pt1 and WISIRO the best, although happiness is a spectacular album.
Nothing compares to the vibe with Johnny. Kurt was a very close second in my eyes. The dude is fucking talented. Tillian is just too meh for DGD, although I dig Mothership.
