      @@smartmoveitaly You will find that some italians -mostly youngsters and people living in the big cities- will act like they've forgot they're in Italy, and you will see places where our culture and heritage seems to have vanished away. Be a better person than them and fight for what is good, what is beautiful, so that we can keep alive and strong the spirit that made you fell in love. Greetings from Venice

    To all the people who have never visited Italy, it must be explained that it is a country with great geographical differences, so the lady lives in a particular part of Italy that is still very tied to ancient traditions (small medieval villages), but at the same time it is possible to find in Italy cities very similar to her native city, with the exact same problems (modern metropolises).

      "To become a teacher in Italy as an American, you need to obtain a visa, hold a bachelor's degree (preferred), and have a recognized TEFL certification. You can find teaching jobs through language schools, public and private schools, and online job boards. Learning Italian is also helpful, but not a requirement"

We have a free visa guide here smartmoveitaly.com/visa22 ; note that the ERV doesn't allow the visa holder to work, and those with EU or Italian citizenship can move visa-free.

    It is so strange to me how us young italians dream of leaving and going to countries like Canada for the jobs opportunities as many careers are just impossible in Italy and in general here it is very hard to find a stable job with a good pay. Myself, from beautiful and sunny Sicily i gave up the sun, the food and the friends for a good opportunity in Germany and i will never come back to Sicily for living, only for vacations. That's because, now we're getting to my second point, services outside italy are better: everything is tidy, clean, no pot holes and everyone respects each other. Sadly i don't see this in Italy. You say that moving into Italy improved your quality of life but i would say the contrary, moving out of Italy has improved my quality of life! So yeah, i guess that i find it kind of funny that foreigners dream of living in italy and us Italians dream of making it out lol

      Solo stranieri già benestanti trovano il meglio in Italia, perché non hanno problemi a mantenersi, ed in genere il costo della vita in Italia è molto più basso (specialmente per gli immobili) rispetto alle grandi città da dove vengono. Per cui il loro trasferimento qui in Italia coincide sempre con un cambio di stile di vita: "da città e 100% lavoro, pagando le rate di un mutuo salato, a paesino in campagna/collina/mare con poco lavoro o lavoro autonomo da artista e casa indipendente di proprietà comprata senza mutuo". Non trovi mai video su youtube di americani che in piena età lavorativa vengono ad abitare a Milano, Torino, Bologna, Firenze, Roma, e dicono che è meglio di come era in USA.
      Ti auguro di fare carriera in Germania, e fra 30 anni quando sarai in pensione tornerai in pianta stabile in Sicilia, e farai la vita da re! Io vivo in Nord Italia e non ho avuto difficoltà a trovare un buon lavoro che mi permette un'ottima qualità della vita, e stimo chi come te è nato in posti non così ricchi di opportunità, ma si fa su le maniche per migliorare la propria vita.

    • @nicoladc89
      @nicoladc89 Місяць тому +1

      depend on the bank and on the work, typically the tax return of the last year, the bank statements and a couple of the last payslips, sometimes the employment contract. You can buy a house in cash, well not in cash (the maximum cash limit in Italy is 5k euros) but without passing through a bank. There are also ways to buy a house in installments without going through a bank thanks to the sale with reservation of real estate ownership.
      Anyway buying a house in cash is not a good financial idea and you need to pay attention to the anti-money laundering regulations which in Italy are particularly strict (probably unnecessarily strict: they serve to combat the mafia, but the mafia lauders its money in Canada, UK, Luxembourg, Netherlands without any problem)

      It's all relative depending on where you're from. Parts of Canada, in this case, are extremely expensive to live. Much more than even cities in Italy.

      In Canada bastano gli affitti a farti piangere lacrime di sangue. I prezzi sono schizzati talmente in alto che vivere da solo è letteralmente impossibile, anche con un buono stipendio. Al massimo ti arrangi in piccole cittadine, come qui del resto. Loro guadagnano di più ma spendono molto più di noi

    Funny how she uses the word "artist" when we use "artisan" for the same concept...

    • @sapinta

      The root of the word is the same, art is a job of making stuff. Artist is more for "ars gratia artis" arts, like fine arts; artisan is for art that you generally use.
