What a wonderful couple. I love their priorities. Todi seems like a great fit for them. Some gentle feedback to the owners of this channel: Please consider either not having music in the background OR turning down the volume considerably. It totally detracted from what the couple was talking about and the vibe of the music didn't fit (in my opinion) at all with the historical shots, nature shots, etc....That's just my two cents but maybe it'll help your content be even more enjoyable. Thanks for creating it!
I spent a day in Todi about 20 years ago and I've never forgotten it; beautiful buildings and vistas, lovely food and people. So happy to know it's still wonderful there.
Lived in tje south of Italy for two years and recently moved back to Germany. It was the most creative and inspiring two years of my life. Wishing you all the best!
Moving to another country has never been a biggie for me, but having enough money for a nice apartment and re-doing it this beautifully - absolutely a problem.
Oh, I get it. You were able to get Italian citizenship because your family is from Italy. Got it. It’s probably much harder for anyone without the Italian family heritage.

Italian citizenship by descent doesn't require a language exam, but citizenship by marriage or residency (not a comune case) do require passing a B1 language test.

Todi is a very good choice .
"You can do something and most of it is free". I love hearing how Americans find it so surprising that entertainment in Italy often comes at no cost.

It would take 10 years of you are not from Italian familt
@@peggyclio1199 10 years in theory. But with all the bureaucracy you will likely need more.
Identify yourself as an African then go to Italy in a dinghy, and all the doors open
Lovely couple and story
Thanks!
Belli e simpatici!Avete scelto bene con l Umbria anche se io sono di Napoli, là c è tanto verde.
Avete fatto benissimo 👏👏❤️❤️💯🇮🇹
Viterbo is another hidden gem
I want to live in Todi
❤ is there something like this near the Italian coast? I need to live near the coast for my health. Thanks.❤
When you become an Italian citizen, do you have to give up US citizenship? Or do you have dual citizenship?
you can have dual citizenship
No, you can have both!

Per vivere bene in Italia ci vogliono soldi
Did you have to learn fluent Italian language to because an Italian citizen ?
Not really (even if itvshould be right!) but at least be able to read the declaration at the ceremony.
Italian citizenship by descent doesn't require a language exam, but citizenship by marriage or residency (not a comune case) do require passing a B1 language test.
Why even consider to move if the language isn’t the first priority?
what a surprise, "creators" prefer places with less diversity than the US
What a surprise, the obligatory nasty comment about diversity.
